L.A. Boruff lives in East Tennessee with her husband, three children, and an ever growing number of cats. She loves reading, watching TV, and procrastinating by browsing Facebook. L.A.’s passions include vampires, food, and listening to heavy metal music. She once won a Harry Potter trivia contest based on the books, and lost one based on the movies. She has two bands on her bucket list that she still hasn’t seen: AC/DC and Alice Cooper. Feel free to send tickets.
Lucky Between the Sheets is the latest BTS anthology, and again these stories don’t disappoint. Each story in this collection is a novella with no cliffhangers, plenty of steamy scenes and a dash of luck.
🍀Unicorn Luck by L.A. Boruff & Laura Greenwood Unicorn Luck is the perfect continuation of Leola’s story, with her mates Cas (the ever dominant Alpha), Kerry (the sweetheart Shaman) and Levon (the just bossy enough Beta). Once again L.A. Boruff & Laura Greenwood have some hilarious quotes, wonderful storyline and sexy scenes that will have you clutching your lucky charms for more.
I’m loving this anthology. Laura and L.A.’s story of Leola and the shifters is fire. Dylan the leprechaun shows up, uninvited and unwanted at their fated mates ceremony. That went well 🙄. Leola is pregnant, but if you read her story, you knew that. This is packed full of heat and action. I will update as I continue working through this. If you’re looking for steamy stories, this anthology delivers.
St Paddy's Day. Green everything, shamrocks and leprechauns, parades, beer, and wild times. This anthology captures all the sexy shenanigans from 10 of your favorite authors. Novellas by L.A. Boruff, Laura Greenwood, R.M Walker, Romy Lockhart, Rae Tina, Joelle Greene, H.K. Khan, Lacey Carter Andersen, Jaliza A. Burwell, and T.B. Mann will make you wish for more than the luck of the Irish on this festive holiday. This is a review in progress.
Unicorn Luck by LA Boruff and Laura Greenwood, 4 stars Leola has only been with her guys for a few weeks when they throw a party on St Patrick's Day to meet the pride. An unexpected guest leads to the answer Leola has been looking for since her parent's death. Justice, like her life and love, isn't what she expected. It was good to catch back up with Leola, Kerry, Cas, and Levon. Things are moving fast for these four and their times together have heated up even more. I liked the twist on the mystery of the deaths. One solved but so many unanswered.
Charming the Djinn by Romy Lockhart
Gold & Frost by RM Walker, 5 star Maebh was found in the forest by her father, a leprechaun as a baby. When he decided to raise her as his own daughter, he was shunned by the rest of the leprechauns. Later their jealousy over his beautiful rainbows led the king to believe that Maebh was the key to his success. A kidnapping, a trade, and a deal with her father's most loyal customer Jack Frost lead to a happily ever after. Quite an imaginative story! The detailing is remarkable for a novella. Maebh's innocence and ignorance lead to several hysterical moments. Very entertaining.
Unlucky in Love by Rae Tina, 5 star Addison Blake has bad luck choosing men and when that is proven true once again, she decides to drown her sorrows at a local bar. Despite the St Paddy's pub crawls, she manages to catch the attention of the bar's 2 owners. Maybe she's not so unlucky after all. I was happy to see that this is the beginning of a full-length novel because there is a story here. Addison is adorable, geeky, smart, and cheeky. Kelan and Dominick are everything best friends should be with their easy bond, their good-natured rivalry, and their ability to share. These three are hot together. I hope that Scott gets a chance to see exactly what he lost. Olivia seems like she could become the ideal bestie too. I look forward to their full story.
Leprechaun's Legacy by Joelle Greene, 4 star Eva is a barista living a normal life right up until the moment she is summoned to the faery court by the Queen to see if she is "fairy enough" to take over her recently deceased father's pot of gold. Yes, she is half-leprechaun. So with the help of her regular booty call, her one night stand, and the Queen's guard, she faces three trials for her pot of gold. I really loved each and every character in this story. I liked the idea of the story. It just didn't work for me that the answer to each situation always resulted in sex.
Lucky Dogs by HK Khan, 5 star Lucky's name has never been fitting. It seems her bad luck is continuing when her company is taken over by another company and jobs are being evaluated to see if they should be continued or done away with. Lucky is placed on a team to go over each position. It turns out the other team members are the four sexy owners of the other business. Maybe her luck is changing... This is an entertaining paranormal novella. The characters are commanding and sexy Alpha's. Rok is hysterical. The steamy times are fantastic. And I loved the Unifier's wolf. Not sure if there are plans for this to be a full-length book but it would be a good one.
Luck on the Rails by Chloe Gunter and Mercy Desimone
The Rogue Next Door by Lacey Carter Anderson, 4 star Jaxson, Zane, and Ian have been sent back to Earth from the demon-realm to watch over Lily, the demon king's daughter. Strong, beautiful, stubborn Lily on her mission to rescue paranormal creatures before the Hunters get to them is a temptation the demons can't resist. When they interfere with Lily and a leprechaun, they find themselves cursed with bad luck for the next 24 hours. Is it truly bad luck? Or is it all a trick? Lots of twists and turns in this addition to the Mates of the Realms series. Lily is a spitfire heroine and her sexy demons are hard-pressed keeping up with her. I Love Jaxson with his tormented soul.
Famished Love by TL Reeve and Michelle Ryan, 4 star The ley lines under London have become activated. Humanity will be destroyed if the Omega Corps team of scientists, a necromancer, and the undead can't learn to work together fast to find and bind the demon responsible for terrorizing London. And yes, there is a tie-in to Saint Patrick's Day. This is a complex, imaginative story full of monsters of all types. There's so much story but even with so much going on, there's still plenty of time for sex. M/F, M/M/F, M/M. All delicious.
Mint by Laurel Chase
Lady Luck by AC Wilds
Shamrocked by Elissa Ryan
Gettin' Lucky by Ellen Mint
Magical Competition by Jaliza A Burwell
Selfish in Love by Edeline Wrigh
Little Lucky Green Hood by TB Mann, 5 star Shaylee has been isolated her entire life; first kept at home, then hidden in a secluded cottage on the edge of the forest. She's been taught to follow the rules. Keep her shamrock shaped birthmark hidden and don't go into the woods before the sun is high at midday. On the day that she breaks one, she breaks the other. It nearly costs her life but instead, it's the luckiest St, Patrick's Day ever. This is my favorite of all of the stories. It's whimsical but with plenty of substance. It's a St Paddy's day fairytale complete with 3 big, bad, beautiful wolves. I could make a joke about huffing and puffing and blowing but I will refrain myself. Just know that there is plenty of steam in this story. M/F, M/M, M/M/M, M/F/M/M.
I’ve been on a Biomystic Security (the RH series by Jaliza Burwell) kick lately so was excited this edition of the Between the Sheets anthology was in Kindle Unlimited so I could see what was contributed for Laila and her men. I was super pleased with the short story for them - as we haven’t had that kind of steam in the series so far it felt like a special treat. It was also a smart way to tie it all together as more than just steamy scenes. I loved how it incorporated St Patrick’s Day too (that holiday is the theme of this anthology). This is the only story in the set I have read so far, but I am looking forward to reading the rest as time allows - it is so long! I need to figure out which are new stories and which are people who have appeared in other series like this one did. Either way - this will provide lots of hours of reading when I am in the mood for the “good stuff” 😊
This book is an anthology with a lot of complete short stories in it. All written by different authors. Some are with characters already in existing series. Others are new. Overall, I would recommend this book. It's great for those days when you don't have much time, but want to read. It's also good for trying out the works of a new to you author to see if you like their style. It's also fun if you've already read a series and see the characters here. It's bonus scenes.
Between the sheets anthology never disappoints 10 amazing authors work together to give you the steamiest completed short stories this one based on leprechauns gold green beers party and fun it gets to the point while still giving you a short story that is completed without a hanger. Some stories or base on other main characters and others are brand new. I can never get enough of Between the Sheets.
All the short stories in this book are related in someway with St. Patrick's Day. The short stories had good character development and story flow. One of two stories felt rushed. I laughed so hard I started snorting while reading the second story. I cried while reading the last story. Definitely a book I recommend.

Wonderful collection💏 I have read the first 3 stories so far. OMG, they are all so different! Ranging from loving reverse harems to a comedy rainbows romances that will have you laughing out laughing out loud.
Between the sheets anthologies have never disappointed me. This one is no different. A group of superstar RH authors worked hard to bring Lucky Between the Sheets and is such a wonderful mixture of stories. I always find a new author to love in the between the sheet anthologies.
I'm not kidding, I think this was the hottest Between the Sheets Anthology I've read. I loved Carlyle's and Killian's story Mint, that had to be my favorite one. But the other stories are steamy too. You will not be disappointed with this Anthology.
No spoilers, just have to say that these stories are NOT safe for work. ;-) but they are written well and have extreme steam to them. If you're into wild romantic sex scenes, erotica, and some magical flair, then this is definitely for you!
The book was awesome as usual. Always love the shorts when I’m on a mood for something fast and great. Love all these authors and the writing is perfect.
