Enjoy three stories in one with the sizzling hot Foolproof Love series!
Foolproof Love: Bull rider Adam Meyer put Devil’s Falls in his rearview mirror years ago and hasn’t stopped running since. Now he’s back—temporarily, if he has any say about it. Restless, he finds himself kissing the sexiest girl in town…and agreeing to be the fake boyfriend in her little revenge scheme.
Fool Me Once: Aubry Kaiser doesn’t like people—actually, that’s not right. She loathes people. With her crippling anxiety, there’s no way she can demo her favorite video game at a convention with five thousand other people. Maybe if she brings someone to act as a shield… But the only person available is the sexy cowboy she can’t stand.
A Fool For You: It’s been thirteen years since Hope Moore left Devil’s Falls, land of sexy cowboys and bad memories. Back for the weekend, she has no intention of seeing the man she never got over…or the two of them getting down and dirty. It’s just a belated goodbye, right? No harm, no foul. Until six weeks later, when her pregnancy test comes back positive…

This is my first time I have read any of Katee Robert's book and I'm so very glad that I did. The characters are real, likeable (some not so likeable) But in each story the reasons behind these couples are as difference as chalk and cheese. I fell in love with Jules and Adam in their story but after that I told my husband that Katee Robert was an amazing author, I loved her book and couldn't put it down. But back to the book, bringing each set of couples was brilliant, they were all so different , yet it those differences made them better. Each of them brought out the worst and the best of each other and that is just what they needed for each couple to fall in love, whether it be the first time, the only time or the second chance they all needed. Katee Robert, This was a 10 STAR book
Foolproof Love: Fake Dating/Grumpy-Sunshine book. I liked this one for the most part. I thought the premise of fake dating because you're trying to impress your douchebag high school boyfriend was juvenile and stupid, but it was a good book from then on.
Fool Me Once: I loved this one. It's another fake dating book where she goes to his sister's wedding with him if he goes to this gaming conference with her to act as a buffer between her and the general public because of her social anxiety. The banter between Quinn and Aubrey was pure gold. My only hangup was the third act breakup was because Quinn spoke to another woman. Just talking, not doing anything else. Then when he tells her who the woman was to him, she realizes she was being stupid and tucks her tail and runs home. Despite that, this was my favorite in the series.
A Fool for You: Second chance, unplanned pregnancy with the deceased best friend's little sister book. We learn about John Moore dying in Foolproof Love. John, Daniel, Hope, Quinn and Adam were all in the wreck 13 years prior. John died; Hope's leg was mangled. Daniel was driving. It wasn't his fault as another driver veered into their lane. Daniel has lived with crippling guilt since then. He was dating Hope at the time and abandoned her after the funeral because he felt so guilty. While I get feeling like shit because your friend died, Daniel came off as whiny. Hope was just dumb. She didn't want to fall back in love with Daniel, except she actively sought him out, doesn't tell him she's recently switched birth control methods, lets him use an old probably dry rotted condom to have wild monkey sex, then is shocked when she's knocked up. She also acts shocked because he wants to assuage his guilt by naming the baby John. Well... duh. Then it's almost like Mrs. Robert got tired of writing the book so she just ended it. No epilogue, no real resolution. Just he fucks up, she leaves, he finds her, pretty worded apology, BAM instant forgiveness and the book is over.

My Wild Cowboy Nights Review . . .
Foolproof Love - Adam & Jules
Pretend boyfriend to real thing. I did like Jules and Adam together but the mixed messages got tired. With saying she is fine with pretending or him leaving but then not be. Then getting upset with him when the drama was in her head. Predictable but still enjoyable
Fool Me once -Quinn & Aubry
Similar story to the first one with a pretend boyfriend. But I did love the quirkiness of Aubry and her issues. Their pivot fight felt blown out of portion and the make up was too quick for me to believe. But I did like these two together.
Some of my favorite quotes in this one:
"Don't muddy my fears with logic."
". . . Give me one legit reason beyond you being too chickenshit to put yourself out there because you had a rough time growing uo and have a hell of a history of building yourself a crazy paranoid bunker to avoid being hurt again."
A Fool for You - Daniel & Hope
I liked the idea of Daniel and Hope more than the reality of these two together. I was also left wanting more at the end. Daniel screws up again then boom it's HEA. I would have liked to see them a bit further in their evolution, to see if Daniel truly did get over his issues or was it just words. And would have loved to see them all happy etc.... An epilogue would have been nice.

This was a really fun cowboy romance trilogy. I will always love Katee Roberts writing. She is just one of my absolute all-time favorite authors and can honestly do no wrong. If you have ever read one of her books and you enjoyed it then you would probably enjoy this. It's just a fun down and dirty time.
It really leans into the cowboy aspect and I'm here for it. It's making me realize I need to read more cowboy romances and more western romances in general. This was absolutely perfect for a summer read. I breezed through all three of these books and it was just a darn good time.
