Pride is the devil’s bullet, but envy pulls the trigger.

Nobody gets Tribal. Not like she did. No one understands what he went through or what made him temporarily flee the MC lifestyle. It was that kid. It all started with the kid. He couldn’t save him, and now he’s wrought with inner turmoil. His old rage is set to simmer and only one woman knows his deepest, darkest secrets, but she wants nothing to do with him anymore.

Horizon is in an all-female MC of her own now. She’s the Iron Butterfly, a knife-wielding enforcer hellbent on shutting down a Russian human trafficking ring. When she’s sent to her grandmother’s casino to investigate its role in this Black Market Railroad, she finds herself face to face with a past lover, ripping open old scars and tearing fresh wounds.

Mel has messed everything up. She’s lied, she’s cheated, and she’s single-handedly destroyed her ability to hang with the Razorblade Tumbleweeds MC. They want nothing to do with her now. Her two options are to leave town and start over someplace new or stick around and begin that fresh life in the RZBT MC’s backyard, in a place nobody would ever imagine she’d go.

Bikers, strippers, human traffickers, the Bratva, and a serial killer collide in Pride’s Envy, book 3 in the Razorblade Tumbleweeds MC series.

Please be advised that the books in the Razorblade Tumbleweeds MC series should be read in order.

Love is not always patient. Love is not always kind. It cuts deep, and it scars. It sometimes hardens a fragile heart. CM Genovese spins sexy tales that pair bad boy alpha males with tough, wild, and feisty women. Both with quick tongues and fiery tempers. Neither with a hint of inhibition. Real romance doesn't take place on rose petals. It happens on the hood of a car. This is romance in the raw.

If you haven't already, go pick up a copy of Anger's Fade, a free prequel to the Razorblade Tumbleweeds MC series by clicking here: Anger's Fade

Under the pen name Chris Genovese, I write romantic books that aren't quite as dark. Under the pen name Carver Pike, I write horror and dark fantasy. So, CM Genovese is right in the middle. It's edgy, gritty romance.

Absolutely outstanding read! The boys are back and have a new battle on their hands, but they also have a couple of Alley Cats along with them. This book has everything you would want in an MC; excitement, intrigue, plenty of intense action, steamy scenes between the two lead characters, banter between the brothers and a little bit of mystery. The storyline is very well written and will captivate you from the very beginning and definitely makes it hard to put down until you reach the surprise ending. Well, at least I was surprised.

This is Horizon (Rize) and Tribal's story, but it is so much more. It also brings back into play, the casino that Rize's grandmother now runs and the past trying to make a replay along with some really bad guys and one really evil guy who is thought to be a myth. Then there is the Red Chapel and their people. Yea...they are back, but this time it's a bit different.

Great storyline, amazing characters all wrapped up between the pages of book that will not disappoint you in the least. I loved this book and I highly recommend it and the entire series (which you really need to read from the very beginning to understand what is happening in this book). So go on and grab this series today...you will not regret it!

Well CM most certainly has another top notch MC romance on his hand. I fell in love with the Razorback Tumbleweeds MC from the very start. The author most definitely has a way pulling you right into the story and have you feeling every ounce of the good, the bad and the ugly. And without giving anything away this MC most assuredly has its share of Good times, Bad times and battles the Ugly with all they have to offer. The characters are the epitome of a brotherhood that rides together, fights together and protects their own.

This book is Tribal’s story. I knew in my heart from his dealings in the first couple of books in the series that his story was going to be deep, intense and one heck of a read. CM did not disappoint me. Tribal is a very spiritual man, maybe not in the regular sense, but if you’ve read the prior stories, you know he’s has an inner spirit that guides his path and helps him lead others. A path that began with one girl (Horizon) who was a part of his past and the love of his life, his path took another direction when a terrible tragedy happened that he blames himself for and finally this path steered him to the Razorback Tumbleweed brotherhood. But don’t let his spiritual side fool you, Tribal is also lethal. This fact is a good thing when his past collides with the present and brings a boatload of troubles to the MC’s front door. And boy of boy what a thrilling ride Tribal and his brothers get sucked into it.

I don’t do spoilers so I will stop with that. But let me just say this book/series is phenomenal and one of the best MC series I have read. If you like your MC reads to be romantic, intense, suspenseful, and with bikers who protect what’s theirs with a vengeance; this series is for you. Kudos CM for an outstanding read and this reading is anxiously awaiting the next book in the series.

2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for a 10+ star worthy book in my humble opinion.

Aaanndd......he's done it again!!!

The amazing story continues with the same love, lust, excitement and emotions getting pulled out of me as in Calm's Storm and Lust's Rage.
Tribal has such a calming presence, that I have fallen completely in love with, which I think is reflected through the whole story.....well, expect for some parts!!! There is an amazing bond between Tribal and Horizon that goes deeper than love, she is one lucky girl! But she too is phenomenal and they are so perfect for each other in every way.
The twists and turns that can only happen in Red Chapel continue with some even more nasty characters than before.
Oh and that epilogue....again!!!
I love the collective characters of the Tumbleweed Razorblades and book 4 can't get here soon enough! Highly recommended.

I don't think I can personally consider this a romance. Yes there's romantic elements, but this book is different from the other two of the series. It's darker, deeper. There's more soul to this story, more grit and more blood. Characters who are lost and are trying to find out where they belong. Characters trying to find redemption.
And I love the extra little mystery the author has included. I'm anxious to find out how the series ends.

What in the hell have I gotten myself into?!? The Razorblade Tumbleweeds pulled me in from the first word in Calm’s Storm. It’s got everything from sex, violence, raw emotion, alpha males and badass women. I need more of this and fast!

Tribal - what is there to say about a man who is a tortured soul with wisdom beyond what is imaginable and a protective streak a mile wide? He’s incredible and the perfect book-boyfriend.

Horizon - If anyone could take on Tribal, both in bed and out, it’s her! Badass doesn’t begin to cover her.

Pride’s Envy (the whole series really) is expertly written and sure to suck you in and spit you out, in the most delicious of ways. Absolutely loved it and can’t wait for more!

Proven wrong, yet again!

Yes, it's me again. The chick that hates MC romances, beards, kuttes, and tattoos. And, yes, I'm also here to tell you that CM Genovese has proven, yet again, that I can, in fact, enjoy a MC Romance. Especially when it's chocked full of really cool stuff like biker chicks, Bratva hot shots, otherworldly serial killers, star crossed lovers, crazed religious leaders, sexy bikers, a hotter than heck wild card character, and knock men coming at you left...and right! Holy cow, I'm all excited again just from writing that!!

Now, I do have to warn you ahead of time (no, this is not a spoiler), this is a lengthy book, with a ton of backstory for the main characters. And, honestly, I found myself skimming over some of it simply because I kinda wanted to see what the crazies surrounding the main character were gonna do next more than I wanted to read about their history. So, if you find yourself feeling bogged down with flashbacks, DO NOT QUIT READING!! Don't do it! Your perseverance will pay off 10 fold. I promise!

I felt like I was run over by a freight train by the time I was done with this book. I could only lay there and absorb everything I'd just experienced. And, yes, I used the word 'experienced' on purpose. Because this story is absolutely a literary experience. And one that you should not deny yourself! Even if you do have to exert a little self discipline until you can get to the next really phenomenal part!

Just Wow!!!
Mind Blown into a zillion pieces...

Damn you CM Genovese....

This book is seriously killing me slowly...
I don’t know if I should be running far away from CM Genovese and his mind or running towards him because he takes a genre and creates it into his own uniqueness of awesomeness stuff that is gritty and raw and definitely not for the lighthearted...

I don’t even know where to truly start....
I absolutely in love with everything about this book....including the good, the bad, the sick and gross and holy shit he didn’t go there moments...I was truly upset each time I had to put the book down and go do real life stuff.

Tribal was always one I was curious about needed to know more. I was happy to finally get his story. Tribal and Horizon were both their worst enemies and greatest strengths (if that even makes sense). The two were explosive when they came together and I couldn’t get enough of them. There story is a long one and you get to see bits and pieces of what made them who they are today and how the choices they made sculpted the people they became. God I loved Horizon and her kickass self and how she took no crap from anyone.

After years apart Tribal and Horizon are reunited to only be thrown into a slew of unfortunate events where lives are in danger and you aren’t sure who you can trust. I can’t even truly go into the story without giving too much away. Just know that CM Genovese will take you on a ride you surely won’t forget.

This is the third book in this series and I highly recommend that you read the others first-this one picks up where book 2 ends. I will say that it took me longer to get into this book than the rest, I found out that I'm drawn more to strong women than an alpha female, but soon the rest of the book came into its own and it pulled me in like the others. I also found that this book had more of a dark sinister vibe to it where as I found the other books higher in action. Horizon's bold style and take charge attitude comes out blazing from the start, she's one kick a** woman! Tribal and Horizon have a deep past, each carrying plenty of baggage as their lives come back to each other, their connection is still strong but Horizon is not the young woman Tribal knew, she wants to handle herself, not dependent on a man. There is a third POV in this book, Mel who has been a character from the other books, once MC friendly lady turned outsider turns to the only other place she felt may open their arms to her, the Red Chapel. This book has twists and turns, blood, knives, Russian trafficers, Native American power battles, emotions and alpha MC members ready for battle. Just when you think you know what's coming next-nope, you'll have no clue what's coming! Can't wait for the next book to see how the aftermath unfolds!

First we were taken aback with Calm's Storm and introduced to the Razorblade Tumbleweeds MC and Link (Prez), Mel (skank), and Tesla (Link's ol' lady) along with the other RZBTMC crew: Tribal, T-bone, Piston, and Frankie. The insanity with a little bit of Italian mafia style thugs and a crazy religious cult was only getting started.
Then in Lust's Rage we are focused more on Piston and Frankie and their shenanigans when all hell breaks loose with the Reverend and the Red Chapel crazy town.
Now, with Pride's Evny, Tribal and Horizon (Rize) and her crew from an all female MC club are the focus. Where I felt Lust's Rage was super face paced and lots of WTF moments, this one has a few more slower paced sections when Tribal and Horizon reflect back on their history. Still, some WTF moments in their reflection but it has a more reflective vibe.
The Red Chapel is even more messed up and add in the Russion mafia and all their shady business and it gets tense.
CM Genovese has done it again and knocked this one out of the park. His imaginagion is off the charts. I love finding these little nuggets of metaphors that he weaves through the stories and making connections that I didn't see before.

Definitely a 1-kicker read...

CM Genovese you have blown me away yet again. Pride's Envy grabbed me by my lady parts and did not let go. This is Tribal and Horizon's story, and it was EPIC. You left no stone unturned. We learn about Tribal and Rize's beginning together and also discover what has been plaguing Tribal and the reasons he lost his way body and soul. Rize has had her own demons to contend with as well. When the two meet again, Tribal finds out that Rize is now in her own all female MC Club. Rize has some skills. She is called "Iron Butterfly" for a good reason.

Rize returns to Mississippi when she finds out her grandmother's casino has been used as a human trafficking front run by the Russians. Also going on at this time is a fresh hell happening with the Reverend and the Red Chapel. We experience horrifying, grisly and everything nightmarish again. Big question is the MC up for the challenge of trying to finally putting this village of horrors to bed and back to the bowels of hell for good.

There is also hope, love, lust, desire, courage and a yearning to make things right in this story. This is the whole package. I look forward to seeing what is coming next.

And the story gets even more twisted....

Before I got into this book I re-read all the previous books first and let me tell you it is mind blowing. Pride's Envy will keep you at the edge of your seat and turning pages. When it comes to keeping you on edge and guessing there is no other like CM Genovese. The twists and turns in this book will make your head spin in the most amazing way. Horizon and Tribal are the most interesting couple to me so far because of what they have experienced together in the past. The biggest surprise character has to be Mason. Totally unexpected but oh so delicious. I hope his story will come to life in upcoming books. Red Chapel to me still remains a mystery, especially the Reverend's story. There are unanswered questions I am sure will be answered down the road. Previous characters return in this book and keep the story moving. If course there is the twist in the end. Who is Chelsea? I am dying to know and it will drive me crazy until I find out. Amazing book full of action, mayhem, twists, turns and love. What a great addition to this incredible series.

When I thought that the story couldn’t get better and then Envy’s Pride arrives and got me nearly speechless. What a great plot, the twists and turns just leave you stunned. It’s going to be so hard to wait for the next book. In the 3rd book of the Razorblade Tumbleweeds you follow the story of Tribal and Horizon. They met years ago when Tribal was searching for purpose after a lifechanging event got him to a dark place. After an intense relationship they went apart after a stressful situation but they never forgot each other. Fate made their paths cross again 5 years later and between bullets, threats, a butterfly knife and a supernatural and creepy dude they find each other again and get their ever after but the road they ride to get it is awesome. This book has everything I love to read: romance, action, thriller and even a little bit of suspense. It has also a plot so very well developed and the characters are so real that it was so hard to stop reading. This is a 10 stars book.
I received an ARC copy for my honest review.

5 star read

Prides Envy is my favorite book so far in the Razorblade Tumbleweeds series. Horizon is one of my favorite characters. So many layers to this woman. She is a fighter and so badass! She is angry, agressive, but there is a heart of kindness and compassion too. Tribal. Oh i'm in love! He has his demons that he wrestkes with and he also a man of many layers to him. Tribal and Horizon together are hot, passtionate, but there is love there. I like that chris went into their past together and into the present. It explained so much and helps you to understand them. We are also introducer to the Reverands son of Red Chapel. Sick, twisted bastard. C.M. Genovese takes you on the ride of your life with this book. His brillance shines through like never before. I was on the edge of my seat the whole entire time and stayed up all night to finish it. His writing is fresh and original. Definately not your typical MC. His books play like a movie in your head. If you want something unique, fresh, a little twisted. CM Genovese is for you. 5 star

Okay, I'll admit it, I am thoroughly addicted to this series. How could I not be?

Now, MC novels are my guilty pleasure, so I've read a lot of them. And I do mean a lot. However, NONE of them even come close to how amazing this series is. Even with this being the third book, Mr. Genovese brings you something new and exciting that makes it so you can't put it down! He's a master story teller, an MC genius, and one of my new favorite authors. I will now forever one click his books because I just love the way his mind works.

Mr. Genovese has a way with making you fall in love with the characters, to feel what they are feeling and actually relate to them. That is a rare but amazing gift. From the swoon worthy, sexy moments, to the holy crap did that really just happen moments, this book is a ride that you will NEVER forget!

Beware: This book will make you forget that you have a life. It will suck you in and won't spit you out until you've completed this journey!

Definitely 5 out of 5 stars!

I LIVE this book! Yes, I said live!

This Book is just everything! It’s one of those books that’s so good you want to run and tell everyone to read it. But selfishly you want to keep it for yourself, it’s like your best kept secret. The writing flowed so smoothly and the storyline was genius!
It was action-packed with all kinds of chaos and craziness. It was suspenseful, HOT and witty. But it was also so deep...it was love, forgiveness, self discovery and healing.
Tribal oozes raw power and Horizon is smart, sexyyyy and lethal. They prove even the strongest people have demons and weaknesses. In order to move forward and be happy you need to face the past and own up to your s*** so you can grow.
Now, throw in the Bravata, a serial killer and the crazy Kool-Aid drinkers of Red Chapel and you have yourself this gem!
I cannot wait to see what happens next! Chris keeps stepping up his game with each book. He has me feeling like a junkie needing my next fix!

Another amazing book and holy shit what an unexpected ending!!!! NNNNNoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

again complex and multi faceted, just love with these books.

but shit was gutted with Mel and Mason, they so deserved their HEA - plus we didnt find out who Mason was talking to in that telephone conversation. there's so much more to Mason and I really hope he gets his own book in the future.

disappointed with Horizon and the hells angels mc women, they weren't as hard arse as they started out to be and i was hoping they would keep to that but when the shit hit the fan where were they? Horizon just froze and all those amazing fighting skills went out the window and she got taken twice??!!!

love this series, need book 4- now i'm off to stalk CMG and find out his timeline for future books!

This is by far one of the best MC series, I have ever read. You have Rize who is crazy as all he!! and she is out to make anyone who crosses her pay. Tribal, who has been punishing himself for reasons and things that aren't what they seem. Then you have good old Mel... The one who has burned more people than a little. She has caused us tears and pain, but Mel started to grow on me... Not too much though, because that witch might get up from the terrors of hell and come annd get me for saying anything ill about her... I'm just saying. This series had so much action and again... What other Author can write from so many different POV's and you not get confused or lost in transition.

I kid you not... This entire series will have you thinking... WWLD? What Would Link Do?

Now this is what I call an awesome MC read. It has all the usual members with rough and tough exteriors, throw in a religious cult, a casino and a strip club. We meet Hell’s Alleycats who sound like a bunch of girls because they are. Mel finally takes the hint and leaves the Tumbleweeds & Razorblades behind. Red Chapel are rebuilding and struggling without their former leader The Reverend. Sister Moon is having her own problems at the casino and she gets to meet her granddaughter Horizon in the flesh. Tribal’s past comes back to haunt him and he does a lot of reflecting on why things happened the way they did. Somehow this is all interwoven together to bring one hell of a read. Oh and then there’s T-Bone who likes to lightens things up and makes you laugh.

Another phenomenal read by CM Genovese!! This series just keeps getting better and better. It grabs you from the first few pages and won't let go. This is Horizon and Tribal's story, and as main characters they have etched their way into my heart permanently. The flow of the story was perfect and draws you into their world. There are plenty of unexpected twists and turns, drama, action, and romance. I loved everything about this story, the author’s writing style, the characters are authentic, realistic with such depth and personality, and the storyline has intense action and steamy scenes. A fantastic read from start to finish. Definitely a 5 star read!!

Wow, what a way to keep the series going with this book. I swear each book in this series gets better and better. This one we learn so much more about Tribal and get to meet Horizon. We also get to meet some new players, some good and some not so good. The action, heat, suspense and blood you come to expect from this series is not disappointing and does the series justice. I want to say even if I am not a huge fan I hope that person carried away is not dead and wow the ending with him showing up, leads me to wanting the next book now because things bout to get real. This series is a must read.

As with all the Razorblade Tumbleweed MC series books by CM Genovese this one is amazing. It does start off a little slow, but I promise if you stick with it it's worth it. This story follows Tribal and Horizon (Rize) in an action packed second chance romance. What happens when fate bring the one who got away back into your life? To survive they have to face off against the Bratva, the brother of The Red Jew and his gang of thugs and of course you can't forget The Red Chapel. Trust me you will want to read this. Just make sure to read the other Razorblade Tumbleweed MC books first so you're well acquainted with everyone. This story is crazy in the best possible way.

Tribal and Horizon have history. They haven’t seen each other in years. They run into each other at a fair. Just as they are reconnecting they are shot at by Russians. Next thing they know they are being threatened by Native Americans. Along the way they realize the two are running a trafficking ring on women that is being run through the Casino. Every time you turn around someone is being shot at or are in a knife fight. Can they make a relationship work in the middle of this chaos? Can they stop the trafficking ring from going though the Casino? You will hit every emotion through out this book. Come take a ride.

No spoilers of any kind included!
So this is all I’m going to say about Pride’s Envy and that is I thought it was awesome!
I would say more but I think you’re the one who should find all the surprises that’s hidden within this story so I’m going to stop here.
I found Mr. Genovese’s work quite by accident last year and I’ve been hooked ever since.
He has an amazing talent of weaving his stories that they seem so real, real enough that I actually wished that I could at times live in the realities that he has dreamed up.
So it’s going to be a big HECK YEAH I most definitely do recommend this book because I really enjoyed reading it and I think you will too!

I have been waiting impatiently for Tribals book. It was so worth the wait. Get ready for another crazy ride with the Razor blade Tumble Weeds, Red Chapel, and the Reverend (plot twist: the son of the Reverend is the thing nightmares are made of! Bring me back the OG Rev ). The Knock man and Knock man 2.0. Plus a bunch of new crazy characters. I’m hooked on this series and very attached to its characters. Find a comfy corner and prepare snacks and drinks because you won’t to leave it until you’re done

This is story telling at its finest.... The scene is set with a Russian Human Trafficking Ring. Chris magically weaves together a story revolving around a past and bringing it into the future that draws you in right from the start. This is a story that flits between spirits and traditions, to the sexual abuse and trafficking of Women, to the depraved Son of the Reverends. It’s hot, dirty, brutal, action packed, heartwarming and also sad in parts. I’m loving how Chris ties this story all together, it’s brilliant.... it ends with a look at to what’s to come in Fury’s Grace, I can’t wait.

C.M. Genovese has done it again!!! Every book I sit in awe and wonder on how he keeps out doing the last. The way he write with his outstanding descriptive technique and with so much emotion you can visually and emotionally connect with every page. You feel what each character is experiencing in that moment which makes it 5X better when reading. Not every author has this talent but C.M. Genovese does it once again in Pride's Envy. This book is packed with action, suspense, love and forgiveness. I am impatiently waiting for the next one.

I love this book and how Chris writes in his personas. Everyone has a different opinion but this doesn't start of slow. It pulls you in from the first page. It's very vivid and imaginable. There were times I could see what's happening. I can't wait to read more of this series. It will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end. I love how it all connected. I thought it was going to be a cliffhanger sort of book but it wasn't. Although I wouldn't mind. It would make it that more interesting.

Every time I think CM Genovese has gone to the depths of depravity, he proves me wrong time and time again, and Pride’s Envy is no exception. I loved this instalment of the Razorblade Tumbleweeds, focusing on Tribal and Rize, a girl from T’s past who he hopes to make his future. There are new threats and new allies in this book, all culminating in a wonderful tales that is not to be missed by any RZBT fans. Also, Steph was right.
