I’m beginning to worry about Treasure Cove and wonder if anyone will be alive for much longer! This poor town seems to have attracted some crazies, but luckily we have the handsome police officer and his lovely wife to solve the murders as they come. Just as with all the previous books in this series, I loved each story and am excited for more.

Too Much Sweetness!!

These books are sickening sweet... It felt like parts were copy and pasted from one book to the other... People date for years and there's no sex...common on this isn't the real world... It's emotionless and I felt their mysteries weren't good either... Same thing over and over.

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook set of cozy mysteries. If you are looking for a new cozy mystery series this is a great way to start by getting the first six books in one set. This was the first books I have read in this series or by author Meredith Potts. This is a fun cozy series. Each book the storyline moves at a quick pace but there are several twists and turns along the way to keep you guessing and entertained. The characters are likable but I don’t see a real-life detective carrying his wife along on his investigations if she isn’t a police officer too. Even though I didn’t find this aspect realistic the books are still fun to read.

The narrator does Carrie Burgess does a wonderful job bringing the story and characters to life. She makes a smooth transition between male and female characters. I never had a problem knowing which character was speaking at the time.

Each book can be enjoyed as a stand-alone mystery but reading them in order can help you understand the backstory of the characters a little better. I recommend this to cozy mystery fans.

Mysteries of Treasure Cove Series: Six Book Bundle was a great read by Meredith Potts. This book bundle consists of; Murder and Chocolate Fudge Cake, Murder and Layer Cake, Murder and Chocolate Cake, Murder and Citrus Cream Cake, Murder and Cherry Cake, and Murder and Vanilla Cake. Sabrina Carlson is an amateur sleuth who starts investigating the deaths that start happening in Treasure Cove. I really loved reading these books by Meredith Potts and believe that Carrie Burgess did a great job of narrating these great stories.

Not the first book

This may be the first book in this series but it isn't the first for this character. After so many references to the past I had to look it up.

Not only was I a little lost because I didn't have the background, I was a little bored. I only read the first title. 96 pages and most of it seemed to be how they didn't have any leads. Sabrina even wonders why they don't show that part of investigations on TV. Well Sabrina, it's because it's BORING.

Each of these stories deals after Sabrina is married and she has a child. It's amazing how she juggles marriage, her child, her cafe and her sleuthing. I enjoyed each story. It's amazing as I listened to these stories, it was like I know Sabrina and how she will react.

An entertaining series of relatively short, easy to read relaxing cozy mysteries that take me away from the demands of reality. Nice to have them in order for when doing obligatory wait times!
