A sharp and fresh collection, Nevo's three anecdotes explore the complexities of human connection through love, loss, and the power of empathy.
The first story throws a divorce lawyer into an unexpected tale of Bollywood obsession. Reality blurs with fantasy, revealing a deeply personal narrative.
A student's passionate romance with a fellow football fan unfolds against the backdrop of their shared love for the game. Love, passion, and football create a unique dynamic, testing the strength of their connection.
The final story offers a poignant reflection on empathy's far-reaching impact amid a yellow finger pandemic. As characters navigate challenges, they discover the profound power of understanding and compassion.
While the short stories leave you wanting more, Nevo's masterful storytelling leaves a lasting impression. Each tale is a gem, packed with vivid characters, intriguing plots, and thought-provoking themes, albeit underdeveloped. This collection is a perfect beach read, offering a delightful escape.
