By putting a collar on me, he’s put a target on his back.

Abducted from Earth by alien sex slavers, I’m told what to do, who to be with, and how long I’ll be used. Until one day without warning, a blue horned alien saves me, saying I’m his mate.

Torryn vows to kill anyone who tries to take me away, but I was never meant to be his in the first place. Luck may have brought me to him, but when my real owner returns my luck may have run out.

Warning: This book contains a blue horned alien hero, an abducted Earth female, hot alien action and a guaranteed happily ever after. No cheating. No cliffhanger.

What a load of bull.
Sorry but "I don't want to rape you" followed by "say it's okay and mean it" to someone who thinks they're a slave and have no choice. .. Like surrrre tooootally not rape buddy, except for the fact that it is...

This novel was somewhat awkwardly written and not greatly edited, with quite a few incorrectly constructed sentences and typos that I caught in the ARC version of this manuscript, but it was fairly entertaining despite that. The world building was roughly sketched out and not especially vibrant. The characterization was fairly competent, with both hero and heroine being sympathetic characters if not especially vibrant and well fleshed out. The development of the romantic relationship was fairly natural and organic, with the hero having to earn the heroine's trust over a period of time. The plot and pacing was somewhat uninspired, with really not that much happening plot wise. The pacing was fairly quick, so I was turning pages fairly quickly to find out what was going to happen next. There was a medium amount of angst in this novel, but it was caused or contributed to by the high stakes, so I was able to enjoy it. This is usually one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel uses the Fated Mates trope and the Human Trafficking trope so common in sci-fi romance. The pacing in this novel was four stars. The world building and plot were two stars. The characterization was three stars, with the development of the romantic relationship being four stars. That resulted in a combined score for the novel of three stars. This novel had a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that is a big plus for this story. I recommend this story for readers who would enjoy a mentally undemanding sci-fi romance to read in a waiting room. I enjoyed this story, but I will not be buying myself a keeper copy of this novel. Not with all the quality control issues with the writing and editing.

I voluntarily read an arc of this book for an honest review. I loved this alien abduction romance. Alora wakes up naked and unsure what’s happened to her. Slowly she is forced to realize she’s been taken and is no longer in control of her destiny or anything else. Scared, she’s told she has an “owner” waiting for her and isn’t she lucky?? Unsure of what’s to come and told bitterly by another that she’s not going to like her life after she’s taken to the market, she’s terrified. Once at the market, she’s rescued...sort of. The evil slug things who took her are in the process of bargaining her for more money when Torryn rescues her. The aliens hear Torryn’s name and say he’s Alora’s owner and off they go. Torryn recognizes her as his True Mate but Alora is slower to warm up to someone she considers her owner. As they get to know each other she knows he’s hiding something and it has to do with his cousin. I really did like this book with two exceptions, one I hate the use of the “C” word. It’s just disgusting to me and I wish authors wouldn’t use it and two unfortunately his pet name of “luscious “ just didn’t work with the story. I felt like no alien would know or say that word. That’s just me though so I’m sure it might not bother anyone else. I’m a HUGE fan of this author and will absolutely continue to read her very exciting and well written books in the future. I loved Torryn and Alora’s romance and I feel there’s maybe another one coming soon and can’t wait.

This book really confused me. The first 25%...terrible. Truly hated every page. Nothing happened, the character seemed stuck up and unlikeable, the writing felt very forced and pretentious to me, and there were a few weird comments about weight, which as a curvy women made me feel uncomfortable.
But I powered through as i thought the plot has promise, if it actually got going.
And i was right 25-50% was great 4/5 stars, good dynamic, interesting plot, the characters were developing to feel more real and likable and even the writing seemed to relax into itself.
And then there was a bit of a lull where things got a bit repetitive again, they were having the same fights, the same conversations. And then out of the blue the mc forgets all of the things they have spent the last 60 or so% arguing and disagreeing on, makes up some unfounded reason (not explained anywhere before in the book, in dialogue or in monologue) that shes worried he doesn't find her attractive and completely changes all her morals and decides out of nowhere to have sex with him. So im back to thinking the book sucks...
And then for the last 15 or so% the sex heats up to be awesome and the plot has a really dramatic and exciting ending.
So to say this gave me whiplash is an understatement. I settled on a three star as there were both highs and lows. Honestly not sure if I'd recommend it but it certainly made for an interesting read that kept me on my toes

 You Don't Own Me🎶

ADULT Alpha Alien🐺🍆⛲🔪 Romance💕 with Abduction

This starts out with Alora💃💋, a human woman, being abducted by creepy 👽Alien slavers. The first third of the book is spent with her being in their custody.

Finally, she is freed by Torryn🐺🍆⛲🔪, a big blue alien Brehki male with horns. He finds her on the icy planet he and his cousin have been banished to for supposed crimes.

Alora💃💋 was mistreated by the slavers, so she has definite trust issues. She doesn't know that Torryn🐺🍆⛲🔪 has realized she is his true mate👰, and he will protect her with his life. Alora💃💋 thinks he is her owner.

ARC Provided by Booksprout🌱
I also got this ebook with KU.

This ADULT sci-fi Romance💕 is very well written with vivid descriptions of the various aliens👾 that Alora💃💋 comes in contact with before Torryn🐺🍆⛲🔪 finds her. Seriously descriptive ADULT scenes between Alora💃💋 and Torryn🐺🍆⛲🔪 abound throughout the last half of the book.

The book is written in first person through Alora's💃💋 eyes mostly but Torryn🐺🍆⛲🔪 gets his chapters, too. First person accounts are not my favorite.
I also was not thrilled that all of the different 👽alien males in the book think only of getting pleasure from females. It's like they all have a one track mind.

It all comes down to trust...

Alora has been kidnapped from Earth, held in less than ideal circumstances, and a fellow human has decided to make sure she knows that this was probably the good part of her story -- gee thanks! Now it's time to be delivered to her new master/buyer, and discover just how bad life in hell is.

Torryn is living in Exile, he trusted his cousin, but the more time that passes, and the more his cousin refuses to answer his calls, the more he questions the circumstances that led to their exile.

Going in search of his cousin, Torryn doesn't expect to walk out of the seller's market with Slots in hand instead... but when she is given to him, who is he to argue?

This done in one quick read really explores trust issues, between strangers, new acquaintances, family... and those trying to build a relationship. It also touches on which truths matter most, and hold the most meaning. I really enjoyed this story, in part because Alora went through an emotional roller coaster, and some of her revelations and epiphanies were charming and delightful.

I fantastic start to a new series. Alora is kidnapped from Earth by the Sul'ox that are sex slavers. She has been bought and paid for before she ever leaves Earth. She behaves for the slavers hoping they will let her go. When they arrive at the market, she finds that she is not the only victim. While at the market waiting for her buyer a Minak offers to buy money to use her for a couple of hours. While it is bargaining, Torryn, a Brehk, that is looking for his cousin stumbles upon the situation. He steps in and prevents the Minak from using her. Torryn recognizes that Alora is his mate and pays off the Minak to go elsewhere. The slaver give her to Torryn and he takes her home. Now he must convince her that they are mates and that he doesn't own her. Meanwhile a betrayal is in progress. A learning journey begins for both of them.

I enjoyed reading this fascinating Sci-Fi alien romance that has some slightly dark implications. The plot is quite intriguing with some unexpected events. The characters are interesting with some rather unique personalities & portray realistic emotional feelings at the unconventional situations they find themselves in.
There is: a young human female (Alora) is abducted by alien sex slavers (Sulóu) & some time later at a seller’s market a blue horned alien (Torryn) saves her from a Minak alien with devious intentions & decides to claim her for his own but there is trouble on the way when her buyer/owner (Cassien) wants her back, various kinds of aliens, abduction, drama, twists & turns, family issues, mystery, secrets, memories, realization, humiliation, manipulation, confusion, misunderstandings, distrust, mates, confrontations, conflict, violence, steamy scenes & contentment. I look forward to future Sci-Fi romances from this author & would recommend this book.

Torryn rescues his true mate.
by sewsummore

Alora was a human female who had been abducted from Earth by aliens and taken to a strange planet for her purchaser. When Torryn rescues her from the "Slave Market, he had not known that she was his cousin's purchased slave, but he paid credits for her and took her to his home. It was later that he suspected proved to be correct, but she was his "true mate" by then and carrying his young. His cousin was an evil, sadistic murderer who only wanted to own and break her, and something Torryn would never allow. I found this an exciting and rewarding read. Both Alora and Torryn were characters I could relate to and were perfect for each other.

Was not a huge fan - writing style was good, but after the first 25% of the book it lacked meat. Half of the book was Alora arguing with Torryn and being all 'I don’t want to have sex, but you bought me so I won't fight'. While Torryn is going on about how she is free and that he would never harm her. Then bombshell - she's his truemate! And he will wait forever for her and that even if she doesnt want him, then he will be her protector so she can choose someone else. Then randomly Alora goes from anti-sex to jumping his bones. Also Torryn is an idiot who refuses to see the truth about his cousin just because they are kin and this almost costs him everything. In the end, I did not feel any connection with those two and felt there was something missing.

A fun read. The extremely cold Elista 3 was an interesting planet for the story. I believe this series is off to a good start. I look forward to seeing the world expand in future books. The author took the approach of more threatened harm to Torryn's true mate than actual realized harm and I was delighted by her approach. My imagination could fill in the missing details and leave me to experience a more delightful romantic story that leans toward the good feelings we wish to experience in life. True mates who form a strong bond for life and can feel the emotions of each other is a marvelous way for a lasting relationship to endure. Hopefully we will hear more of their ongoing lives in future stories within the series.

Alora Novak is abducted from Earth by alien sex slavers, collared, and she is living a nightmare. She had already been purchased at the time of her capture and was taken to a marketplace to be picked up by her owner. Another alien offers to pay for her services for a few hours, but a blue-horned alien named Torryn claims her as his mate and saves her from the situation where she could very easily have lost her life.

However, while Torryn still has to convince Alora that they are mates, and what that means exactly, the original “owner” who purchased her apparently still wants her back! Will Torryn be able to protect her? Will they ever find their HEA?

I have read several books by Sabrina Kade and her stories are great to read and this story also did not disappoint.
The story left me with warm feelings.
Despite all the horrifying stories she has heard, she has to do what her buyer tells her to do and her life will never be the same again. Only, her buyer is not what she expects. This blue horned alien seems to respect her and not force her into what she doesn't want. Sex with an alien is portrayed by Sabrina Kade as something you would like to experience yourself. Hot, sensual, hard ..... and big

Alora was abducted from Earth and came to in a cell on a frozen planet. She's already been sold and collared for a buyer, so she isn't mistreated like the other females who are with her. But it's a horrifying situation. Torryn is searching for his brother when he sees Alora and buys her. The sellers protest that she isn't for sale, but he overrides them by saying his name. Alora doesn't know whether her situation is better or worse, but he seems kind.

This is a twisted tale of murder, love and family. Get ready for them all!

Given to the Alien

Let me start off by saying that I'm a HUGE fan of the series Rebels of Sidyth. I've read all of them and look forward to more on the series. So when I seen Given to the Alien by Kade I was all for it, however this was a let down for me. There were some pretty noticeable plot errors through, like getting characters mixed up or time lines mixed up. I also do not think that this book is as developed as any of your other books. I was just disappointed. I'll still be a loyal reader tough.

Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and raw passion, strength, happiness with a happily ever after. Erotic was a major turn on. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

This is the great start of a new series. The series starts with Alora stolen from Earth and taken to Elista 3 to be picked up by her new buyer. Before her new owner shows up, Torryn saves her from being raped and possibly killed by another alien. From here the story tells of how their relationship grows to the point she is claimed by Torryn as his true mate. The story is well written, entertaining and leads up to the next book in this series. I would highly recommend it as a great read.

I was a little disappointed. I've read Sabrina Kade's work before and really enjoyed it. I felt the beginning was very wordy and obscure until Alora and Torryn were introduced to each other in the story. After that the story line progressed a a much better clip and I found it enjoyable, but could have been expanded to include more content, I felt it was too short. It has possibilities, but needs more.

This is the story of Tarryn an Alora. Alora is stolen from earth and is being sold at a market. Tarryn saves her from being used as a toy and possible death. It is a bit slow to begin with but I enjoyed it in the end. I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t realise it is part of a series and the way it ends it is obvious their story will continue in the next book. Looking forward to reading it.

I'm new to this author but wanted something quick to read a light, this did fit that description. I liked the storyline and characters of Torryn and Alora, however the narrative was not the best writing I've read, and came across as a little confusing at times. It's difficult to describe what I mean, and there was certainly a lot of positives going for the book but I felt it just needed something more in the writing. If definitely try this author again though.

I don’t know what to make of Alora at first, she’s in the middle between wailing and being angry from being abducted... by an alien. I guess it seems unreal. But our male protagonist is one heck of an alien, an honorable one, and she saved our female protagonist without even realizing it.

And how he courted her, protected her makes fir a swoon worthy story.

A sweet page turning read!

Amira had a rough start in this story, she begins naively compliant, but learns to grow a pair, figuratively. I loved the way the characters developed and how their actions advanced the storyline. There were so many ways that this book could have ended badly for her, but Torryn helps her through. There are some tense moments and I wonder what happens to the other slaves.
