One Last Kiss is book number seven in the Eternal Bachelors Club. This is the first book I’ve read in this series and it didn’t hinder my enjoyment of this book in the least. This is a sweet second chance romance with plenty of swoon, steam, and sighs. I love those “s” words.



Ashleigh Welsley, now known as Leigh West, is home for the first time in fourteen years to be at the bedside of her very ill father. She swore she was never coming back here again, but here she was. She hadn’t seen her father in all these years but he needed her now.



Fourteen years ago Ashleigh had been a naïve girl in love for the first time. She thought he loved her as well. But when she found out that her mother had given him money to break things off with her and that he accepted it, her heart had broken in two, and she left town. Since then she had achieved her dream of becoming a famous movie star. Now all she wanted to do was to be at her father’s side. As fate would have it, though, she finds herself in a predicament and who comes to her rescue but the man who has haunted her all these years, the man who broke her heart.



Hunter Hamilton is not the same young man with no money that Ashleigh ran from all those years ago. He has worked hard and is now a billionaire. One look at Ashleigh and he knew that his love for her never died. Now all he had to do was to get her to listen to him, to explain what really happened. He had to get her to forgive him and to give them a second chance.

Hunter and Ashleigh have a lot to work through, a lot to forgive. But Hunter still hasn’t told her that he isn’t poor anymore. On top of this, of course there is a conniving fellow actress who has set her sights on Hunter. And a manipulative mother who thinks nothing of using money or whatever means available to keep them apart. But above all, the spark is still there between them. Together they burn up the pages. It doesn’t take them long to realize that they never got over each other. That all of the feelings are still there. Now if only they can work through everything to give themselves a chance at happiness.

I really enjoyed this one. I’ve read a few of Cynthia’s books now and have enjoyed every one. Once I saw how strong the attraction still was between these two, I so wanted them to get their chance at a happy ever after. You’ll have to read the book to see if they get it.

Hunter Hamilton likes his simple, uncomplicated life, he does what he wants, when he wants, and answers to no one. He's a strings-free kind of guy, when you go home with him it's one night, and then your on your way, and he has no problem being known as a eternal bachelor. All of his friends are settling down and starting families and he is no where near ready for that... or is he?

Ashleigh has her reservations about returning home to see the people she walked away from fourteen years ago, and facing a certain sexy townie that broke her heart in a million pieces all those years ago. She has often thought of Hunter, wondered how life turned out for him, but never once found the courage to face him again and find out... that is until now! As soon as he walks back into her life, she can't help but start to fall for him all over again... no matter how much her head is telling her to run the other direction!

One Last Kiss is a sexy little literary romp that is sure to warm readers hearts and leave their toes permanently curled!! The story line pulled me right in, and had me completely captivated in a matter of minutes, it was such a great read!! I really enjoy second chance love stories and I have to say this one DEFINITELY hit the mark for me, it had everything I look for in a romance story and much more! Ashleigh and Hunter are complex characters, with undeniable chemistry, that have painful history... one that isn't ready to stay in the past. Without giving too much away I will say that their road to finding their happy ending is filled with lots ups and downs, lots of challenges, and lots of spicy encounters that will steam over your tablet screen! I highly recommend you give this one a try, it is sure to spice up your life and leave you with a smile!!

Contemporary romance release date Sept 12 . Hero is Hunter . Heroine is Ashleigh.
Hunter sees Ashleigh on the TV screen . At one time they were it for each other . They both planned a future together. But Ashleigh took off for Cal. And now she's an Actress.
Ashleigh had to go home because her father (who she loves like no end ) had a stroke . She hates her mother you'll need to get it and see why . So Ashleigh doesn't go home when she lands but goes straight to the hospital.
A few hours later they (the boys , the Bacher's) are at a pub when Ashleigh shows up and everyone is going crazy about her . Even the women harass her . Who goes to the rescue but hunter .
He has a few things to say to her clear the air about the past !! But Ashleigh doesn't want to listen . She thinks he betrayed her and was bought out by her own mothers money 💰 $$ .
She also doesn't know that he's a billionaire now .
Will Hunter get a chance to clear the air and win her back . Grab it and see

The group of men who joined the Eternal Bachelors Club had thought they would not get married anytime soon, but some of them have decided there is only one particular woman that they want in their life. Four members remain whose futures have not yet been controlled by their hearts, and Hunter Hamilton is especially adamant about staying unwed. But when he gets an opportunity to reconnect with the woman whom he should never have let escape, seductive plans just might keep Ashleigh Welsley from getting away a second time. Cynthia Cooke has written a very entertaining romance, where long-held secrets could either make a relationship last or end up tearing it apart forever. I absolutely enjoyed every moment of the story, because every scene is so believable that I felt the happenings just had to be true. ONE LAST KISS is emotionally affecting from beginning to end.

Although Hunter Hamilton belongs to the Eternal Bachelors Club, he does date but just has no intention of getting married. There was one woman in his past whom he would have wed, but his choices made certain their relationship did not last. Ashleigh Welsley has been out of his life for fourteen years, so there is no use wishing for what can never come true.

If her father had not become very ill, Ashleigh would have stayed in California instead of coming back to Southampton, NY. Shortly after the well-known actress arrives, she encounters Hunter at a local bar. While both are much different people now than they were long ago, the feelings they once shared have never fully died and keeping them from resurfacing will be very hard.

Even if the previous books in Tina Folsom’s Eternal Bachelors Club series were never read, plenty of details about characters and situations give enough information so everything is understood. I always like when linked stories feature some of the same individuals, as it is great catching up on their lives. Hunter made an exceedingly difficult choice in his past, and it still haunts him. Though he is successful and wealthy, he is not really happy because of how much he regrets losing Ashleigh. While they are no longer involved, he has not truly moved on. Since she thinks he betrayed her, it has caused her problems when it comes to trusting others. When the couple find themselves together again, old hurts are there but so is intense desire. The passion Hunter and Ashleigh feel for one another is frequently sky-high, and they definitely have no trouble expressing any of their lusty cravings. I often felt as though I was experiencing their steamy moments right along with them.

While sexual attraction may keep increasing and various emotions are conveyed by Ashleigh and Hunter, several concealed facts could make a huge difference in what ultimately occurs. There were times when I was very worried over how these two would react to a new disclosure, and genuine responses were demonstrated every time. Cynthia Cooke made every single moment in ONE LAST KISS enthralling, as characters are true-to-life while events are convincingly imaginative.

Hunter Hamilton was in a bar with his friends when he sees a newsclip about Leigh West’s latest movie. Ashleigh Welsley, the woman he betrayed fourteen years before. Upon learning that Hunter used to know her, his friends suggest that he asks her to attend the bachelor auction that will be held soon. Ashleigh, after she left the Hamptons for California, swore she would never come back home, but her father had a stroke, and she will suffer her controlling mother for the sake of her father. Feeling low after seeing her unresponsive father in the hospital, Ashleigh goes to Dunes, the bar where Hunter was relaxing, hoping she would remain incognita, but no such luck. Hunter has never stopped loving Ashleigh, and seeing her again, he knows this might be his last chance to make things right.

ONE LAST KISS might look at first glance like a familiar second-chance romance, but Ms. Cooke’s masterful execution makes it brilliant with some original touches, and very engaging characters. Ms. Cooke establishes her characters so firmly that I felt comfortable from the onset, I liked them, and I was hoping everything would work out all right, and that it did! Ashleigh and Hunter had compelling backstories, and I loved to watch their interactions with their families, mostly the mothers, who are as different as night and day. I loved that there was a feeling of melancholy, of a certain sadness and not rage and anger at the love that got crushed because of a misunderstanding. The issue from long-ago wasn’t resolved in the blink of an eye nor did it drag on into indescribable unpleasantness. In fact, it gave way to terrific character development and to a few unexpected and happy plot twists.

Cynthia Cooke’s writing is so smooth, ONE LAST KISS was over before I knew it, and not because it’s so short, but because it’s so good. The dialogues are excellent, and I loved how realistic – and exciting – the whole movie world looked. ONE LAST KISS is part of Tina Folsom’s Eternal Bachelors Club series, and it definitely can be read as a stand alone. ONE LAST KISS is a simple story made engrossing because of the quality of the writing, the care in creating multidimensional and appealing characters, and a solid story filled with unexpected and delightful details that held me captive. It was good to have another book by Cynthia Cooke to sink my teeth into!

"One Last Kiss" by Cynthia Cooke. Book 7 in Tina Folsom's series The Eternal Bachelors Club.

This story is about Hunter and Ashleigh (Leigh).

An excellent addition to the series. This is the first time I've read a book by a new-to-me author writing a story for another author's series. In this case, it works out just fine. This book fits seamlessly into the series. I really enjoyed it and hope that other authors continue this Tina Folsom series.

NOTE: This series has been renamed as The Hampton Bachelors Club. Also, the first 6 books have been renamed.

Im sorry to see that Ms. Folsom is not going to continue to write anymore of this series however, Miss Cook did a fantastic job with this one. If Miss Folsom is giving Miss Cook to go ahead to finish the series I will be reading it. Great job Miss Cook I look forward to more.
