The book feels distracted. With 5+ flaps on each page, it's more about turning flaps than introducing children to concepts.

Many youngsters love trucks and other forms of transportation, insuring that this board book will be popular. But it isn't simply the vehicles that will catch readers' attention. This book relies on several lift-able tabs to reveal information about how humans move around town or on a motorway, head into the water, fly into the sky, build things or even move from one place to another efficiently via a train. The book jacket says that there are 70 flaps for readers to lift up as they explore each scene. There are snippets of information beneath each of those tabs. This book encourages youngsters to look beneath the surface and will keep them occupied for some time as they learn more about things that go, maybe even prompting them to imagine that they, too, may someday travel to those spots or helping them notice what is around them more carefully.
