Weird westerns indeed except that the story about Kobolds is set in Ohio. The first story is a sort of steam punk, maybe Lovecraft monster story. The other two take place in mining country where more than gold and coal come out of the ground.

A one armed gunslinger and his fiddle playing cohort fight the future in a very physical way, a priest faces the undead in a gold mining town beyond salvation and a sheriff faces off against impossible creatures to save a coal mining town.

This short collection of three stories is the best weird west book I have read to date. It genuinely captures the weird aspect. Each story is clever, original and told in Miekle’s usual exciting, visceral, fun and fast-to-read style.

Weird West, yes please

Meikle delivers three quick but cool shorts. What I look for in a good short story, is that seed of a longer tale, and Meikle almost always does just that. Good stuff, check it out.

Entertaining paranormal listening 🎶🔰

Three will written western supernatural paranormal very short stories by William Meikle (The William Meikle Chapbook Collection book 3). Three short stories about the West with a haunting horror ghost 👻 twist lots of action and violence leading to the conclusions. I would recommend this 53 book series to readers of fantasy supernatural paranormal novels 👍🔰. Excellent stories

Mr. Meikle is a gifted storyteller. I especially liked the first story, the fiddle and one hand. I think they need more stories written about them. This was a fun, short book. Looking forward to reading more!!
