Super short a good quick lunch read or a book to read at night.. under 40ish mins..

Lorddddd Tori.. she has to be realllly naive.. girl thought a biker bar (she didn't know) was a gay bar because of the leather and mostly guys.. she just entered the place because she was thristy and lost, turning down a guy who was flirting with her she is stuck in the middle of a biker fight with a rival biker gang. Blake is a enforcer for Voodoo children has his sites on her and thinks she adorable when the fight breaks out in their bar he makes sure his girl is safe. And once he has her on his bike he can't let her go at that moment..

Things i didn't like.. woman tearing themselfs down if they are curvy.. talking about their fat asses in swimsuits and how blah she would look and wish she was skinny.. 😐😐😐 another thing.. Blake in his pov saying he wouldn't tell Tori where he learned to massage since he slept with a masseuse back in the day.. didn't really need to know that. Also all that to have them mentioned they did long distance for about 6 months.. until she moved to where he lived..

No real om/ow drama, No cheating, Drama, sexy time, Virgin gal... idk his last girl didnt say

This was the third book in the Heroes series. Tori was ditched by her friends while she was in NOLA and she decided to go into a bar to get a drink and to get directions. While she is in there, a fight breaks out between two MC clubs. Blake who is the enforcer for one of MCs comes to her rescue and takes her to his houseboat. She is oblivious to his obvious attraction to her and when he finally tells her about it, she is shocked and embarrassed because she didn’t think that people would like her like that. She is able to get over her embarrassment and enjoy the rest of her vacation. This was a quick read and it was very entertaining. I really enjoy reading her books. I can’t wait to read what is next.

I purchased this book because I wanted to try some samples of Amazon's new "two-hour" read category. This was fine, but not wow. And no way was this a two-hour read. It was more like a short-story or novelette. In reality, it was one scene stretched out over 8 chapters, plus an epilogue. The characters and writing were fine, but I was hoping for a story with a more complete feel to it. Still, it was an entertaining enough read for my lunch break.

Adele Niles' Protected by the Hero is a tender romance story of a young, curvy virgin, Tori, and a rough and tough biker, Blake. What could bring these two opposite personalities together? To discover their journey, I recommend you read this book. Niles penned a strong character driven plot. She provides a view in the journey of a young innocent, left stranded by friends in New Orleans, accidently stumbles into a biker's bar and finds herself in the center of a fight between two rival biker gangs. What happens to Tori? Will Blake be her knight in shining armor?

I appreciate the way Niles uses literary devices such as dialog, point of view and descriptive language to capture the reader's interest. The dialog moves the story at a reasonable pace. The point of view allows us to glimpse at the true nature of each character. Her descriptive scenes paint vivid scenes presenting a firsthand view as the drama unfolds. This is an enjoyable read.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in The Hero series. In this book, Tori is in New Orleans with her friends when they ditched her and she found herself alone. Tori wandered into a bar looking to find AC and a drink. When she noticed she was the only woman in the bar, she began to get nervous. Tori decided to finish her drink and leave, but a fight broke out and she hid under a table. Blake knew Tori was lost and had stumbled in his MC's bar. Blake wanted to protect Tori and he made his way to her and help get her out the back. Blake then took Tori to his houseboat. Blake wanted Tori and thought she was adorable and naive. Tori didn't realize Blake was interested in her. Tori was a virgin, but she knew Blake wouldn't hurt her. When Blake told her his intentions, Tori decided she wanted to be with him too. I liked this quick and steamy read. I liked Blake and thought he really cared about Tori and wanted to protect her. He thought she was perfect for him and was willing to convince her. Good one.

Protected by the Hero is the 3rd book in The Heroes series. As with the first 2, this book was fabulous and I loved it! The primary characters, Blake and Tori, were so superficially different that it seemed uncharacteristic that they would have anything beyond a physical connection. However, as the characters continue to grow the reader sees deeper into each of them to the hidden and underlying person. Niles' ability to develop her characters in this manner, which keeps the reader enthrolled and engrossed in the story, is so amazing! Even though Blake and Tori made a cute couple, there were issues to address if they wanted things to work. Tori lived up North, Blake in New Orleans. Would distance be the ultimate wedge?

Candid in bikers’s land
Very good short romance, well written, which starts with action to end with a romance. The candid side of the heroine annoyed me a little sometime.
Tori lost her friends in New Orleans, but she's also thirsty. She enters the first bar on her way to quench her thirst and ask for directions. However very quickly, a fight is declared between two rival gangs and she is rescued by Blake the gang leader who dominates this bar. Immediately, they are attracted though being diametrically opposed between the nice Boston girl and the local bad boy. However, Tori is candid enough not to realize that Blake is flirting with her.

This is the third book in this series and like the previous two it is a fast quick read that gets into the story fast and everything happens at break neck speed These books are instalust instalove They are perfect for those times when you need something that you u can read fast that doesn't take a lot of concentration and we all need that some times

This is the story of Tori a shy librarian ho most of the time has no idea what is going on around her She is in a bar when a fight breaks out Blake a biker comes to her aid keeping her safe until he can get her away to safety She soon develops a crush on this hot as man but knows she isn't in his league Now Blake has to convince her that his feelings for her are real and she really is the woman for him.

A hot, spicy, juicy quick read. You will not put it down, a quick, spicy insta love read. Tori walks into the wrong bar, she has lost her friends, and can't find her hotel. So she walks into a bar to get a drink, after sitting down and ordering a drink she looks around and realizes she is in the wrong bar. All the men are big, wearing leather, and look mean. When a fight breaks out she is shell shocked and wont' move. Blake takes one look at the sweet innocent young woman and knows she is in trouble and will make sure that nothing happens to her. He is attracted to her and makes sure he is the one to rescue her. A great read.

This story was insta everything it came to an end so fast I thought I just started this story. Tori and Blake meet while she is in vacation with her friends whom she lost and ended up in a biker bar in which a fight stated and Blake protected her. Blake fell for her the moment she walked through the doors.

Tori is an innocent in college and she thinks a guy like him would never want a curvy bookworm like her. This story is a good one but it ended to quickly for me I would have liked a longer epilogue a few years later so we could really catch up with the characters. I rate this story a four it would have been a five for me if there was more of an epilogue.

This was so freaking cute!!!
Pretty sure i had a smile on my face the entire time. Even though it was a quick read, I smiled big enough my face hurts a little. Tori was adorably clueless. And Blake was the perfect naughty gentleman.
I would recommend this book.

This is a quick read that has an interesting story which moves along at a steady pace. The alpha male saves the female characters and that’s the start of their relationship.
