A lovely little volume that collects pictures and handwritten notes from the author's Continental Divide Trail hike in 2018. The book is a testament to "less is more" that evokes feelings of the trail with simplicity. The sparse notations, especially on the hard days and the glorious mountain days, still manage to convey depth and emotion. Hannah Green also has a good eye for the atmospheric, conveying big skies and mountain lakes in her images. I also like the authenticity that the presentation of her notes in her own handwriting provides.
