Fun Cozy Mysteries, Paranormal Mysteries (with a fantasy twist) all set on the Florida Coast. A Romantic Christian Series, with a strong sense of family set in upstate New York. These are the stories Victoria writes.

A hopeless animal lover, Victoria adds plenty of cats and dogs in each book, and her love of gardening shows through the characters. As a storyteller, it is important for Victoria to draw the reader into the story; to make you feel the sultry tropical heat or the numbing cold of the north.

Victoria and her husband live in South Florida and own a landscape garden service. Two feisty cats make themselves at home, usually on her desk as she writes.

A lover of a good mystery, she is an avid reader and likes to be outdoors. When she is not reading, you may find her working on a needlepoint project.

Piper Avery's neighbors (Lily and David) are at it again. Yelling and arguing with each other. They've been married many years and both know nothing is out of arrears.

This time David threatens to stuff Lily's crafts down her throat. It's a matter of time that Lily's body is found, and it is exactly how David had threatened.

Now Piper and Joel will be investigating, hoping to find the killer, as Joel know Piper will one way or the other.

This is another fun story with some humor, intrigue, and well developed characters. The story is easy to follow and is a clean read with no real violence, or cussing involved.

A great cozy!

The book began very relaxed and I found myself relaxing as well. It had a real small-town feel to it; cozy and with a few nosy neighborhood-gossips. When you’re pulled into a book that easily, that’s when you know you got a good thing. But don’t worry, soon the peace was shattered (the neighbors are at it again) and the mystery began in earnest! When the woman next door is found dead, the obvious suspect is her husband. Piper and Joel investigate, with the help of Diva Dog Daisy and K-9 Scout.

A great cozy! Pleasant, with the right pacing, a good flow, never boring. An interesting case and I didn’t know who dun it. The ending was surprising. And very edge-of-my-seat!

After accidentally starting this series with book 2, I've definitely missed a few of the finer nuances from the introductory novel. Despite my mistake, this book does really work as a stand-alone. I picked up the relationship threads fairly quickly and we were off and solving the murder of a next-door neighbour who had been "threatened" by her husband earlier that morning.

The main investigator, Piper Avery, is bright and likeable. I envy what I perceive is her ability to reinvent herself with ease. Piper takes more risks than I would do (since I'm a self-confessed scaredy-cat, that's not difficult) and probably more than the average person would as well. The plot was smooth and easy to follow while the supporting characters had their own personalities and added to the story.

As usual, Williams does a brilliant breathing life into main and secondary characters. The way she writes these characters really makes you believe everything that is happening. In this book you get to learn more about Tessa the dog walker and it is very organic. Even the dog walker helps to move the story along. You get pulled into the town and get to be amused by the town gossips. You really do get pulled into that world that Williams created.
As I mentioned before I also like the fact that Piper is not a random person solving crimes. Yes, in cozy mysteries it is always a lay person solving the crimes but it has to make sense for me to enjoy it. And Piper serving as a consultant in these murders makes sense because she really does know the people in her town. This allows people to trust her and also allows her to get some information that the police wouldn’t have gotten as quickly. This trust is what allowed her to find the thing that the murderer was looking for. I don’t want to give anything away, but let’s just say looks can be deceiving.
Overall, I really enjoyed this cozy mystery and am looking forward to finding out what other murders Piper helps solve. This series is in my top 5 cozy mystery series.

I've never been one who likes to go into a synopsis about a book. After all, you're given one in the description. I read the reviews to see if other readers liked it and that's what my own reviews reflect. So here is mine...I love a book that pulls me in and holds my attention. That makes me want to keep reading long past the time I should have gone to sleep. That's Final Delivery. The author grabs you firmly by the collar and holds you tight until you have to put it down to get on with other things until you can pick it up again. Well written! Great characters and a really great read! Loved it!

Once again a very interesting and creative story. The main character, Piper, is a recent widow who is trying to open a gallery in their beach town. Her next door neighbor is murdered and Piper is convinced the husband did not do it. This story appeals to me due to the seriousness with which all characters work together. I am enjoying this series very much.

This is a wonderful addition to the Mrs. Avery series! The friendly relationship between the main character, Piper and the police consultant, Joel is like a breath of fresh air. Plus, the subject matter revolving around the mystery is very realistic in current news events. I love the mothers and look forward to seeing more of them. I highly recommend this book and series!
