If you think what’s happening on stage is entertaining...you should see what’s happening BACKSTAGE!

A brand new show is coming to Rehoboth Beach! Jack and Claire (yes, THAT Claire) Reilly have written an original musical, and they have the perfect cast. Plus, there’s pirates. Who doesn’t love pirates?

Meric Chandler is a neurotic, introverted accountant by day, but at night he transforms into a magnetic leading man whose voice makes all the girls swoon. Just getting over a divorce, he has sworn off backstage romances. After all, that’s how he met his EX wife.

Lindy Larson prefers to stay behind the scenes, but her girlfriends convince her to audition for a new local theater production. She has a stunning voice but plans to blend in as much as possible, which isn’t easy to do when you’re the awkward plus-size girl with two left feet.

While backstage romances are to be expected, they don’t usually shut down the entire production. But you know what they say: the show must go on!

Plot Twist is Book 3 of the Romance in Rehoboth Series, where the ladies are strong and independent and the men are actually nice guys. These delightful romantic comedies are set against the backdrop of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware's top vacation destination. This book can be read as a standalone.

Plot Twist written by K.L. Montgomery is book three in the Romance by Rehoboth. While it is part of a series it is a stand-alone, there are characters from the previous two stories in Plot Twist. The story line is funny and witty, the characters are entertaining and we’ll thought out. Meric and Lindy are the main characters but there are plenty other characters mentioned to keep you entertained. Lindy is somewhat self conscious, until her friends convince her to try out at the theater where she ends up with a lot more attention then she was wanting. Meric is going through a divorce and trying to avoid backstage relationships but something about Lindy is different. The sparks between the 2 are obvious from the beginning, all they have to do is get out of their own way in order to enjoy it.

K.L. Montgomery really hits the nail on the head with this funny and entertaining Rom-Com. I have not read the other books (yet) in the Rehoboth series from her but I will be doing so soon. I loved that this book was its own force though and I was able to get lost in it without reading the others. I found myself laughing out loud, and rooting for our main characters to find the happiness they so much deserved.

Lindy is a strong curvy woman, with an attitude. She doesn’t let her self-conscious issues stop her from trying to accomplish her dreams of being in the entertainment industry. Instead she feels like she could be the next big cartoon character’s voice, maybe even a Disney princess someday? She needs flexibility in her life as she right now is tasked with taking care of her aging parents and is living with them. During the day she is a teacher at Delmarva Academy, when school is in session. She does get summers off and during this time her best of friends manage to convince her to try out for a local musical.

It is there that she meets the dashing Meric Chandler. Meric is an accountant by day, with a personality of a reserved hermit. What most people don’t know about him is his passion for theatre. It is when he is on stage that he comes out of his shell and shines brightest.

One disaster after another leaves the two finding themselves front and center of the production. Both of them begin to develop feelings for each other but are putting a hold on them because of their past issues. Lindy is terrified of putting her heart on the line. Meric is healing his heart after a bitter divorce and is not looking for a new relationship right now. Sometimes life has a way of changing our best intentions and plans and these two find themselves having a difficult time avoiding the strong feelings at the forefront. Will they be able to overcome their fears and find that happily ever after they both think that is impossible to achieve? Or will the pressures they self-impose get in the way of any future happiness they could have together?

I am itching to read the other books that are part of the Romance in Rehoboth series. I will also be keeping an eye for more installments in the future from KL Montgomery. I can guarantee this book promises laughter, love, and the right amount of tearful moments to balance it all. You won’t be disappointed you joined Lindy and Meric on their journey together. I am sure you will be finding yourself falling in love with these characters as much as I have. This is a strong five star read that will take you away from the stresses of life and have you laughing for a few hours. This is the perfect rainy day read, or even a day by the pool read.

This is the third book in the Rehoboth series. You can read this book as a stand alone but there are prior characters in this book as well. I love a good romance with humor but this author keeps on surprising me with her writing. She sucks you into these amazing characters. These characters are real and very lovable. I was hooked to this story right from the beginning. I loved this story so much it only took a few hours to devour it.

Lindy Larson has a beautiful voice that would make her a start but she rather be behind the scenes. Her friends tell her to try out for a show that another friend wrote. You might remember Claire. Lindy gets a part that she is happy about. She is loving her life but she is missing something, love. Lindy never dated because she is taking care of her older parents. She is also plus sized and most guys just want to be friends. Lindy meets the handsome Meric Chandler and she gets these feelings she is not used to. They slowly get to know one another and become very close. Lindy feels the chemistry but does Meric? Meric tells Lindy about his past and that he doesn’t want a relationship right now. Will Lindy change his mind about love or will she be just another friend?

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, humor, struggles, and love. You will fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. Lindy is a beautiful woman that lacks self confidence. She has always been bigger but she finds out that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Meric is very handsome with a troubled past. He has a heart of gold and the way he treats Lindy will make your heart melt. This talented author will keep you guessing on what will happen to these unforgettable characters. I love how this author wrote this story in both characters points of views. This makes you feel a better connection to these characters. I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing series.

Plot Twist by K.L. Montgomery a four-star read that will twist you. This is the third book in the Romance in Rehoboth series they can be read as stand-alone but I have read as a series and enjoyed them as such, again as with the previous book I wanted to give it five-stars but there was something stopping me, its weird, its well written and has great characters a plot you could believe in and situations that will twist your heart. I think with this one if you have read a few of the authors previous books you will notice recurring themes through her writing and it was almost face slapping in this one, If you can get over that you will love it. If your new to the author, then enjoy her writing. Meric Chandler did make me want to punch him once or twice with just how clueless and uncaring he first appeared, but as you get to know him and understand him you will go from wanting to punch him to believing in him, like he does himself, he shows us that he can be a baddie on the stage and a goodie the other side of the curtain. Lindy Larson I struggled with, I know she doesn’t have any confidence in herself, but then she does things that show you different. By the end I changed my view and she did make a great heroine of the story.

Plot Twist is the third book in the Romance in Rehobeth series by K.L. Montgomery, and it is a contemporary romance novel. The story is about a woman who is 32 years old named Lindy Larson, who lives in Lewes, Delaware, and she is an English teacher at The Delmarva Academy. Lindy lives with her elderly parents, and takes care of them since they have medical issues and memory problems. Lindy decides to audition for a part in an original play called “Yo Ho Rehobeth”, written by local author, Claire Reilly, and her husband, Jack, who is a music teacher at The Delmarva Academy. The play is to open in 8 weeks. Since Lindy has the summer off and has nothing better to do, she decides to audition for the musical along with her friends Megan and Heather. Lindy loves Broadway shows and has a beautiful singing voice, but she is very insecure about her appearance since she is overweight and considers herself to be fat, uncoordinated, and unattractive. Lindy doesn't expect to get any type of leading role because of her appearance, even though many people have complimented her on her amazing singing voice. Lindy ends up being cast in the chorus as do Heather and Megan, but she is extremely nervous about learning the choreography since she has always had a difficult time with dance. On the night of the cast introductions Lindy notices the quite handsome and very fit man named Meric, who is one of the male leads in the musical. But Lindy feels that someone who is so confident and good looking as Meric could never be interested in a fat, boring woman like her.

The story is also about a man who is recently divorced, whose name is Meric Chandler, who is 35 years old, and is an accountant. Meric's ex-wife, Suzanne, and his ex-best friend, Bryan, (who was also his business partner in their accounting firm), were caught together in Suzanne and Meric's bed by Meric, and Suzanne is now pregnant with Bryan's child; as soon as the divorce was final, Suzanne and Bryan got married. Meric is not planning on having a romantic relationship any time soon, and he certainly isn't going to have a backstage romance, especially since that's the way he met his ex-wife, Suzanne. Meric is auditioning for one of the lead roles in “Yo Ho Rehobeth” since he is a great tenor, and has been in many community musical theater productions. Meric is good friends with Drew, the owner of the Delmarva Art Connection where the play will be performed, and where Meric has starred in other musicals. Meric ends up being cast as one of the male leads in the play, and on the night of the cast introductions he notices a pretty woman in the chorus named Lindy, but he also notices that she appears to be quite shy and that she gets embarrassed very easily. Will Meric and Lindy become friends by opening night, or will their mutual attraction for one another lead to a romantic relationship?

I really enjoyed this novel by K.L. Montgomery. I enjoyed the way she wrote the novel by letting Lindy and Meric tell the story in their alternating points of view. All of the characters are multi- dimensional and interesting, and even though this book is the third in a series, it can be read as a stand- alone book. I definitely would recommend this book if you love reading romance novels.

Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth #3) by K.L. Montgomery was feel good read, that puts a spin on the normal romance female MC.

Not my first read by this author or this series and, I'm going to tell you that this is fast being one of my the favourite of the year. It has a solid mix of entertaining and witty dialogue, with body positive messages, that makes this series more then just your run of the mill rom-com.

Lindy, she is our female MC. She isn't your normal female protagonist, for one, she's plus size, two, she isn't the so called "natural beauty" that makes every man or woman, in the room turn their heads. She's a realistic character, that fits with what normal woman, look like and feel. I have seen some stunning woman in my life, and never had I seen the goddess like creatures that are portrayed in most romance novels. So reading about this normal every day woman, made this book more then enjoyable, but real. Because no matter what movie and TV, and social media wants to make you believe, the big girl can get that hot guy. I have seen it, and it's about time it's reflected in entertainment.

For Lindy as a character she starts out withdrawn and, has accepted her roll as the "sidekick" to her more thinner, "prettier" friends. We get a good look into her inner thoughts and, you start to feel a real connection with her; and for me, you start to get protective. As the story moves on and she is pretty much forced out of her comfort zone, we see that fiery woman that has always been inside, and that had been damper by "social norms" that plus size people aren lesser, and lazy. Lindy found her inner diva, and I was rooting for her and ecstatic that she was done with the BS.

Meric, he was a great character as well. Not your typical alpha male character. Actually he wasn't a alpha male at all. He's that hot nerdy guy that always seems to get friend zoned, or ended up with a alpha female type, that used him as a door mat -cough- his ex-wife cough-. Meric also went on a self discovery journey. Building himself back up, and accepting his feelings for not only his dog, but for what he actually wanted in life. It was nice to seem both him and Lindy slowly fall in love, and gain some much needed confidence that was stripped away.

I give this book my stamp of approval and my super high recommendation. This book was a joy to read. K.L. Montgomery has a way with words and a way with story telling that sends out the right messages. These are the books that need to made into movies, to show everyone what it is to be real, and send the message that you don't need to be hollywood perfect to be happy.

Happy Reading

I give Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth Book 3) by K.L. Montgomery, 5 stars.

Lindy is a bigger girl who tends just fade into the the background. When her best friends beg and plead to join in trying out for a new musical, she finally agrees to go. But only to make them happy. She'll just be part of the chorus. But then they mention dancing will be involved. She's too clumsy for that! Not to mention that all her friends are talking about are the hot guys. She knows there are much more beautiful women there, she doesn't have a chance. Then this hot guys starts taking an interest in her. But that's cool, they can be just friends.

Meric is going through hell. His wife divorced him and has been making his life miserable since. She even dumped her dog on him! Now she has the life he always dreamed of having. And worse off, he met her on stage! So when he decides to try out for this new local musical, he swears it's only for fun. He is so not getting involved with another theater chick again. Not to mention the fact that he is still recovering from his failed marriage. But when he meets Lindy and hears her sing, he is instantly drawn to her. She is like no other woman he has known before. But they can just be friends, right?

This is another amazing book in this fantastic series. The main characters are wonderful and so loveable. They each have their own issues and have to learn or are trying to learn from them. All of the characters are so realistic, it feel like these are people I know. And the story -- wow! Besides the romance between Meric and Lindy, you have everything that involves with getting a play up and running -- both good and bad. Then there are Lindy's parents. They are elderly, and the special circumstances that comes with living with and caring for your elderly parents. Not to mention Meric's dog! There are some great scenes involving him, but I will leave it for you find out just what they are!!!!

Funny, sweet, and at times sad, this is a romance novel that I highly recommend.

Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth Book 3) by K.L. Montgomery is her third book in her Romance in Rehoboth series. This book can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading the two previous books as they are just as enjoyable. This author has become one of my favorite authors because her writing style is engaging, creative, and pull me in right from the beginning. Her characters are both connectable and lovable. They take me on an emotional roller coaster ride that I didn't want to end. I love how her characters are not perfect but they are strong. Meric is an accountant by day and works as a leading man for the theater at night. He has just gotten a divorce and has sworn off backstage romances. Meeting his first wife this way, he wants no more of it. Then he meets Lindy. Lindy likes to be behind the scenes not center stage. What will happen when her friends talk her into auditioning for a part that will put her center stage? What will she do when she finds herself center stage with him? These two have been fighting their attraction to each other but how long will it be before that changes? Will the show go on? I loved both of these characters. Lindy is strong willed and has a little feisty attitude. I felt for her as she struggles to figure out who she is and where she belongs in the world. Meric is sensitive and sees though her insecurities to see her for who she is. I love that about him the most. Both of these characters have some insecurities and are fighting their own personal battles but it was great watching them grow and figuring out where they belong. I also loved seeing characters from the previous books. I love seeing what happens to them after their book ends. I highly recommend this book. Find out what happens when both of these characters face each other center stage? Will they bring down the whole production or will the show go on?

Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth Book 3)
By: K.L. Montgomery
5 out of 5 stars

The story Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth Book 3) by K.L. Montgomery is a romantic comedy. I fell in love with both the story and the characters. I was hooked from the beginning and didn’t want to put down until the final page. It is the story of Meric Chandler and Lindy Larson. They both audition and are cast for parts in an upcoming musical. Lindy is a woman that has a wonderful voice when singing, one that Meric loves to hear. She doesn’t have a lot of self-confidence as she sees herself as a plus size woman who has two left feet. So when Meric starts to pay attention to her and they get to know each other better she tells herself that they are just friends. She doesn’t believe that a man has handsome as Meric would be interested in anything more. Meric is a man that is still recovering from the pain of a failed marriage. He is not ready for a new relationship. That is until he meets Lindy. As this story progresses both Meric and Lindy both feel the electricity in the air when they are together. Even so, neither of them tell each other of their feelings. What will happen once the show ends? Will these two finally admit their true feelings for each other? Will they find an HEA? This story has many characters. I loved reading about how they interact with Lindy and Meric. I also loved how Meric is so supportive of Lindy when she has self-doubts about herself. This is a story that had me rooting for Meric and Lindy to find happiness together. I also enjoyed reading about the musical that they are cast in. It is one I would go to. I have read several books by the author and I have enjoyed every one of them. This is a book that you can read as a standalone or in the order of the series. There are characters from the first two books that crossover into this one. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Book Review: Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth Book 3)
Author: K.L. Montgomery
FIVE STARS
Light romantic comedy. This book is a refreshing read. There is no violence, no scary stuff, just plain fun and quirky romance. K.L. Montgomery is a writer of fiction and she writes mainly your average men and women. They are mostly in their 30s to 40s and her message is body positivity. This is a wonderful thing for me being a mid 40s lady who is heavy and I have my own insecurities to deal with. Reading about these characters that overcome the odds and their own doubts and fears makes me realize I am not the only woman that deals with this.
The leads, Meric and Lindy are each dealing with their own insecurities and personal issues but they are auditioning for a local theater production to fill their summer with something fun.
This book explores their getting to know each other and trying to overcome some personal insecurities as well as dealing with the things they have going on at home. Lindy still lives with her parents and is a school teacher, her parents are older and are both experiencing some health issues, so she is their main care giver.
Meric is trying to recover from a divorce in which he caught his wife with his now former best friend. He is still struggling with what happened and why she would be so low.
Great book and we get to see all of our favorite characters from the first two books in the series. It was awesome to read about Claire and Jack from Fat Girl and then of course Drew and Sonnet from The Flip.
Great book and K.L. Montgomery is definately a one-click author for me!!

In Plot Twist, there is going to be a play, Yo Ho Rehoboth is being held at the recently opened Delmarva Art Connection. While Meric is looking forward to it, Lindy's arm had to be twisted to participate by her two best friends, and even then, she only wants to be a part of the chorus. But as with any theater, there always tends to be a bit of drama.
Here we follow Meric, who is is an accountant and enjoys doing theater, and Lindy, a woman who lives with her parents to take care of them and likes her life pretty low key.
Montgomery, superb at writing about women's body issues, does a fabulous job of writing about Lindy. Lindy wears long shirts, hides in the background, and is self-deprecating because of her weight insecurities. Participating in a play is the perfect way to break her out of that fun she has gotten herself into.
Meric, who's just freshly signed his divorce papers isn't looking to jump into another relationship, but he still desperately wants what his ex-wife wouldn't give him, children. So while he participates in the play, he's on a quest to create a family without the ties of a relationship.

Plot Twist is sweet, fun, and romantic. It has the endearing qualities you've come to love of her characters and can be read as a standalone. I loved being introduced to new characters and getting reacquainted with ones met in previous books. I love watching Lindy's character blossom throughout the book and I love how Montgomery writes in ways that create realistic and fun situations to allow such character growth. Plot Twist is a wonderful addition to the Rehoboth series.

I've read enough of K.L. Montgomery's books that I don't read the blurbs anymore, I just sign up, so when I did read the blurb, wasn't entirely sure how this was going to go. I shouldn't have worried, since I really love Ms. Montgomery's talented writing style, and she didn't disappoint with Plot Twist. One of my favorite things is the fact that the characters in this story/series, could be the people in my neighborhood, they are so realistic, so that makes it that much better for me. Basically, Meric is an accountant by day, and a leading man at the local theater by night. He met his wife backstage, is now getting divorced, so no more backstage romances for him. Lindy is taking care of her aging parents, has insecurities about herself, and is forced to participate by her two best friends in the new play. And all she wants to do is be low key & hide in the background. Now the fun & drama is just beginning when these two meet. I love how this is just simply a sweet, and funny romantic story about two people with real life issues. Not only are Meric & Lindy entertaining to read about, but the cast of secondaries add more to the story as well. Lindy's battle with her insecurities had the emotions in my throat, as they came across so realistically that my eyes were threatening to leak, as I could relate to her feelings. And the author did a phenomenal job with her growth throughout the story that just didn't happen overnight. I hope there are more stories in this awesome series, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Plot Twist is the third book in the Romance in Rehoboth series by author K.L. Montgomery. While this is the third book in a series it is the first one that I have read, and I didn’t feel lost so go ahead and read out of order if you want, it will be enjoyed either way. I plan on going back and reading the others, hopefully they are all as good as this one.
Introverted Lindy has agreed to join her friends trying out for their local theaters production of “Yo Ho Rehoboth” written and directed by a local couple. Lindy plans on trying out for the chorus since she sees herself as “ordinary” and “fat” and wants only to stay in the background. Meric Chandler is a recently divorced man that is trying out for the play to combat his new-found loneliness. He hasn’t been able to participate in a play since he got married so now he is planning on going back to what he loves. Lindy notices right away that Meric is an attractive man who would never notice her, so she doesn’t bother putting herself out there. Meric notices Lindy right away, first her angelic voice then he is attracted to the entire package.
I totally enjoyed this story, it was heart warming and had plenty of aww moments. The author made me see what goes into a production of a musical from tryouts to costuming to final dress rehearsal. I loved the secondary characters, even the “bad” guys were entertaining. The story also had a message about body image that I felt was extremely positive. All in all, this was a very good read that I didn’t want to end.

Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth Book 3)
By K.L. Montgomery
5 Stars

Plot Twist is the third installment in the FABULOUS Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L. Montgomery. This series has been so much fun to read! I couldn’t wait to start this book and Ms. Montgomery did not disappoint! With characters from past books popping up and new characters falling in love, Ms. Montgomery has hooked me with this series!

Meric Chandler is not your everyday accountant. Well, he kinda is the nerdy, introvert that people expect an accountant to be. But at night is when he really lets loose. With a voice that makes all the girls swoon, he’s the leading man any leading actress would love. Except Meric has been burned before by backstage romance and vows that it will never happen again.

Lindy doesn’t like the spotlight but encouragement from her girlfriends has her trying out for the new local theater production. Yes, she has a stunning voice but she’s expecting to be able to blend into the background. At least that’s her plan. But everyone knows there’s always scene changes and plot twists. Will these two be able to keep the show going?

This rom-com from K.L. Montgomery is another winner. The story was very entertaining and fun to read. Catching up with the characters from the first two books a plus. Getting to know Meric and Lindy a hoot. Watching them fall in love? The best! All in all, a fabulous book! I would highly recommend you add K.L. Montgomery as a favorite author! You will love her books!

Plot Twist by K.L. Montgomery is the third book in her Romance in Rehoboth Series, and I just can’t help falling in love with this series again and again with each new addition. Following the story of Meric and Lindy, who I couldn’t love more if I tried. When a musical comes to town, these two audition and are cast, unbeknownst to each other. Lindy sings like an angel, her voice pulling Meric in like a Siren’s song. While she has a beautiful voice her confidence in herself and her stage presence is lacking, much to Meric’s dismay. Lindy can’t believe that a guy like Meric would want to get to know her, so the closer he attempts to get she tells herself he is just wanting to be her friend. Meric is on the rebound, recovering from a failed marriage, but he sees a future with Lindy if only she would give him a chance. The chemistry between these two throughout the book is enough to show sparks between the pages, so I really hoped that they got together. Watching their romance progress was a thing of beauty, it was so well written that I could almost see them in front of me as I was reading. Having read the rest of this series, as well as several of Montgomery’s back catalog of books, I just knew I was going to love this one. If you are looking for a great love story, surrounding a story about a great musical, than this is the series for you. I can’t wait to see where this series goes from here!

Plot Twist ( Romance in Rehoboth book 3 ) by K.L.Montgomeryis yhe third book in her Romance in Rehoboth series .I've read other books by this author and I truly enjoyed this book. I recommend reading the first two books in this series but this can be read as a standalone. Get ready to go on a emotional rollercoaster ride with this story. I really like this author's style of writing and her ability to grab your attention and keep it till the end. Her characters are lovable and make you feel like your right there with them. This story is about Merc and Lindy.
Merc is a recently divored man eho is an accountant by day and works as leading man for the theater at night . His recent divorce has him swearing off those backstage romances, this is how he met his first wife and he wants no part in doing it again. Lindy likes to be behind the scenes not on center stage. Whats happens when she talked into auditioning for part? What happens when she finds herself on center stage with Merc? How long will these two continue to fight their attraction for each other? These two are both strong but lindy does struggle with figuring out where she fits in and who she is.and Merc is a bit sensitive bit he sees right through her insecurities and sees her for her
I highly recommend this Book especially if you want to know what happens. Can't wait to read more from this author.

Plot Twist is the third book in the ‘Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L Montgomery. It is a really fun and light-hearted romantic comedy. Romance in Rehoboth is a series of standalone stories where each book centres on its own particular character/couple. The stories may differ storyline, feel and tone- but they all are set against the backdrop of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. And characters from the other books make appearances in this story, too. Even though you don’t have to have read the other two books in this series to be able to enjoy this one. I do recommend reading them anyway- because they are wonderful stories in their own rights and well worth the read, too!
I think Ms. Montgomery is a gifted storyteller, easily pulling her readers into her story and keeping us connected and hooked from beginning to end. I love how her story depicts characters that are realistic, believable and at the same time promotes a body positive attitude that makes her work stand out from the crowd.
As with all her other books, this is really well written, entirely captivating, and stands out from others in the same genre. I have a hard time picking one favourite from her books because they are all so great- but this one is definitely right at the top.
I can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve for us next!

Thank you, Ms. Montgomery!

Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth #3) by K.L. Montgomery
4 out of 4 stars

Plot Twist written by K.L. Montgomery is book three in the Romance by Rehoboth. And the second book in this series that I have read. While it is part of a series it is a stand-alone, you also get to see the characters from the previous two stories in Plot Twist. I enjoyed the characters and their quirky ways and the storyline is funny and entertaining.
This is the story of Meric Chandler and Lindy Larson. They both audition and are cast for parts in an upcoming musical.
Lindy Larson prefers to stay behind the scenes, but her girlfriends convince her to audition for a new local theater production. Lindy has a wonderful voice when singing, but she doesn’t have a lot of self-confidence as she sees herself as a plus size woman who has two left feet.
Meric Chandler is a neurotic, introverted accountant by day, but at night he transforms into a magnetic leading man whose voice makes all the girls swoon. He is just getting over a divorce, he has sworn off backstage romances. After all, that’s how he met his EX wife. That is until he meets Lindy. As this story progresses both Meric and Lindy both feel the electricity in the air when they are together.
This was an enjoyable story and I can’t wait to see what Ms. Montgomery has in-stored or us in the next story in this series.

What a cute and funny romance! Plot Twist is Book 3 in the Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L. Montgomery. Although this is the 3rd book in the series you can read this as a standalone. However, characters from the other books are in this one so my suggestion is to read in order. Lindy is a curvy, quiet teacher by day but on stage is where she really shines. Meric is an Accountant that loves to be the spotlight! Meric wasn’t looking for anything but fun seeing as though he is coming out of a marriage. That is until he heard Lindy sing. Lindy has the most beautiful voice. Both of them have auditioned for a musical at the community theater. Lindy’s only problem is her self-confidence except when it comes to her singing. She is a bit on the heavier side and she thinks that she is just plain clumsy. Meric is so enamored by her that he befriends her. He truly does see her and along the way helps her come out of her shell. They are super sweet together and the connection that they have is amazing. This book is definitely a HEA. There isn’t any graphic sexy scenes but just like the other books, this story doesn’t need it. I love how the author uses plus size female character leads. There aren’t many authors out there that do. It makes this story very relatable and in turn a page turner! I would definitely recommend this book!

Plot Twist, is where backstage romance develops with a reluctant leading lady and the leading man she thinks is way out of her league. Although book three in Montgomery’s ‘Romance in Rehoboth’ series it can be read happily as a standalone story and does not need to be read in order. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, the characters are likeable and relatable and I felt immersed in the beautiful setting described by Montgomery of Rehoboth beach.
Plot Twist, is a story about the behind the scenes romances that develop when Jack and Claire Reilly write a original musical featuring pirates which they plan on turning into a show. Meric Chandler is a slightly neurotic, shy accountant by day but a leading man once he’s on the stage. Lindy Larson has a stunning voice but two left feet and prefers to stay behind the scenes, however her girlfriends convince her to audition for a new local theatre production and so Meric and Lindy meet. Meric is not convinced about having another relationship with a women he meets on the stage having met his ex wife that way but he can’t deny the chemistry between himself and Lindy. Another fun, sweet romance with great characters and a storyline which flows well. I liked the fact that Lindy as the main female character was a plus-size girl, likeable and relatable. The story had plenty of romance, comedy and steamy scenes, making it a must read novel.

Plot Twist is the third book in K.L. Montgomery’s Romance in Rehoboth series. It is the story of Lindy and Meric. Lindy is a teacher who tries out with her friends for a local summer musical that was written by Jack and Claire (whom we met in the first book of the series, Fat Girl). Meric is a recently divorced accountant who also tries out for the play. Through a wild, chaotic and hilarious series of events surrounding the musical Lindy and Meric also try to find a way to deal with their growing feelings for each other.

I absolutely loved this book! I love musical theater and I love the idea that a woman who is not a traditional beauty can have the lead in a romantic comedy musical and find her true love who sees her for everything she is and not just the size of her clothes. There were lots of scenes that made me laugh out loud and scenes that made me cry, sometimes at the same time.

While this is a series you don’t necessarily have to read the first two books in order to understand this story. There are some minor references to the other two books but nothing that will take away from this story. Although I do highly recommend that you read Fat Girl and The Flip, they are just as great as Plot Twist.

Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth #3)
By K L Montgomery
5 stars

I am so in love with this book it’s unreal! This author just knows how to write stories that make you instantly fall in love with the characters in it. I have read a few books by this author now and my favourite thing about her is how real her characters feel, I love that they aren’t ‘perfect’ and I definitely related to Lindy in this book – I was living my dreams through her! I just absolutely LOVED her and Meric – oh my gosh I wanted him for myself! I loved the connection between the two and the uncertainty that came with it. I wanted to shake Lindy and say you are good enough but I can completely understand why she felt like she did.
As always this author had me hanging off her every word, the book is beautifully written, the characters well thought out and developed. I think Lindy and Meric were some of the most loveable characters that I have ever read about. There was something that drew me to them straight away; they both just seemed so kind and genuinely nice. I loved the secondary characters too and find with this author she always uses them well in her stories.
I could go on forever about this book (and the series!!) but to find out for yourself how amazing it is definitely one click it today!!

Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth Book 3) by K.L. Montgomery is the latest in her series of romantic comedy novels and while it is possible to read and enjoy this book as a standalone , I definitely feel like you would be able to enjoy them even more read as a series because you do have a bit of back characters that show up. This is the story of Lindy, a self-proclaimed plus-size woman with the voice of an angel, and Meric, a man that is just getting over a divorce and has no desire to seek out another backstage romance. When these two meet and are cast as the leads in a new play the sparks s tart to fly but both are reluctant to pursue anything for their own reasons. Will these two give love a chance? Will they stop standing in their own way?these two characters just have a connection you feel right away and it's fun to see it grow. I loved this book from beginning to end, I couldn't put it down! The characters were relatable and you could feel like you were friends instead of just reading a story. The plot was well thought out and had me turning pages long into the night. This book is definitely worth a five star rating and I’m definitely going to have to go and read the others in this series.

Plot twist was a great 4 star read, this is book #3 in the Romance in Rehoboth series.

Lindy is a teacher who is taking care of her parents and working on her dream.
When Lindy’s friends convince her to join the theater, this is where she meets Meric.

Meric is an accountant and is in the middle of a divorce. When he meets Lindy at the theater he is drawn in by her. He wasn’t planning on any type of relationship but something about her is different.

These two have some issues that have them holding back. Can they get past these feelings and have something together? They form a great friendship, it's great watching them grow and develop their relationship into something more.

Will they get a HEA?

I really liked Lindy’s sassiness and how she connected with Meric. These two pulled me right in with their story. The secondary characters added a great element to the story. The only thing that gets to me is that Lindy is plus-size and I at times have a hard time with what is considered plus-size, I would have been just as happy not knowing her size and only knowing her as the great loveable character she is. If you are looking for a great romance with some LOL moments this would be a great book for you. Thank you K.L. Montgomery for another page turner.

Plot Twist- K.L. Montgomery

5-stars

Plot Twist by K.L. Montgomery is a fantastic Romantic Comedy! It’s the third book in the Romance in Rehoboth series, having read the other books in this series I can honestly say that each book can be read as a standalone, however, I would recommend reading them in order as each book is well worthy of a read!

K.L. Montgomery is a phenomenally talented author whose stories always pull me in! I’m a big fan of the fact that she writes about plus size women, since that’s not something you see every day. She’s created unforgettable characters who know how to spread body positivity, and what’s not to love about that?

Plot Twist is my favorite book by this author so far, I absolutely loved Lindy and Meric. From the very beginning I was hooked by the fact that they weren’t your typical romance couple. I loved how real, vulnerable and caring Lindy was, she was super easy to relate too, and I absolutely love how she developed over the course of the story. And I couldn’t be happier with Meric’s character, he’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a book boyfriend, honest, caring, open, and body positive! There honestly isn’t anything I didn’t love about this book!

I would absolutely recommend this book and series to others!

Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth 3) by K.L. Montgomery is the third book in this series. There are characters from the previous books, but you don’t necessarily need to read the other two first, but it is worth going back and reading them.
This book was fun! I also love that this book is about “real” people. You can imagine these characters as your neighbors, friends, or coworkers. Lindy is a school teacher who lives with her parents and takes care of them in their aging years. She is insecure about her weight but has the most incredible singing voice. She knows when she sings she feels special and the world melts away. Her and her two best friends all try out for the town musical. Meric is an account who recently got a divorce. He has some insecurities of his own. Can Lindy and Meric put their past and insecurities behind them to find love?
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was witty, and I love anything with a playlist. I think that it is great that she brought favorite characters from her other two books Fat Girl and The Flip. This book would be a great read for a quick escape from reality.

Plot Twist (Romance in Rehoboth Book 3) by K.L. Montgomery

5 Stars

This is Meric and Lindy’s story, two people who aren't perfect, just one of the reasons I love this author so very much...These two both dealing with their own issues made me fall in love with them just like every other character that this author writes about. She never shies away from letting these women be real and deal with real issues as far as their bodies are concerned..I can't even begin to explain how refreshing that is.

I loved this story and the return of the characters from previous books was something I loved, they didn't just make a quick appearance, they were part of the story. I fell in love also with Lindy’s parents and with the way Lindy treated her parents.

I just can't say enough about how much I enjoy and look forward to reading this authors books. She is an absolute favorite of mine, I cant put into words what it is about the way the words flow but they do so beautifully. It seems I never have even one negative or drawback with any of her books, this one was a fun, quick read for me and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I will read everything this author writes.

Loved It!!

Plot Twist by K.L. Montgomery is the third book in her Romance in Rehoboth series. This is the first book that I have read in this series and can say you don’t need to have read the previous books first - although I am sure you will wants to after reading this.
Meric has been there and done that when it comes to romance. With a ex behind him he is happy to go about his job and then rehearse for the musical. He is definite about no backstage romances at all. But he might find this a bit harder to stick to than planned.
Lindy much prefers to stay out of the spotlight. Behind the scenes is where she likes to be, not up on stage for all to see. But when her friend convinces her to audition for a play Lindy might not have much choice at all. Especially being as clumsy as what she is.

I really enjoyed this book. I found it to be entertaining and amusing. I loved Lindy’s character and found she was always making me smile. Her and Meric worked so well together. The writing style was engaging but witty and helped to grab your interest. I will certainly be going back to read this series from the start!

Plot Twist, Romance in Rehoboth Book 3 by K.L Montgomery
5 out of 5 Stars
Passion and laughter are the two books that I would use to describe this book. The writing is beautiful and easy. The story is full and engaging. This is a book that you pick up and you do not set down until you finish it. Meric and Lindy are two characters who are both engaging, endearing, and lovable. The relationship and interactions between Meric and Lindy are laughable at time and the things that they do not tell each other had me rolling my eyes, however, the honesty and sincerity behind each driven purpose was a refreshing change of pace from the normal, boy/girl meet and fall in love story. This story, is in a sense, a two part story. There is the story of Meric and Lindy, but also the story of the musical that they are involved in and the author did a wonderful job of letting that background story develop around the characters and I was excited to watch the musical grow into its final number and the cast that were involved. This book can be read as a standalone, but since there are characters from revolving books, do yourself a favor and read them in book order. Highly recommended.
