Lenny “Lowlife” Kesler promised himself that he’ll earn his bottom rocker within the year. He never complained about cleaning the toilets, maintaining the kitchen, and fetching beer for a patch at four in the morning. He knew that these menial chores were part and parcel of being a prospect.

But when he was asked to serve as a bodyguard for the president’s daughter, he felt that he had hit an all time low. Doing things for the club made him proud. But babysitting a brat was a different matter altogether. He hated the task that was assigned to him.

That is until he saw her.

Samantha Cross left San Mateo five years ago. She chose to be with her mother when her parents got divorced. Her loathing for her dad only intensified since then. But now she’s back in town, for a selfish purpose that she’d rather keep a secret.

She expected her dad to pick her up. It was the least thing he could do for her, she thought. But when another person - an unpatched initiate at that - fetched her at the bus terminal, she was reminded of the many reasons why she abhorred her father.

But then, there was something about this prospect that tickled her fancy. She found him easy to manipulate, so much so that things could actually become amusing for her. Plus, he looked good - really, really good - and that made her think that the days she had to spend in this backward town didn’t have to be boring after all.

But darkness was descending on San Mateo. The Godless, the vilest motorcycle club in the country, has arrived to force the Filthy Dogs into a patch-over. The Dogs will refuse. The Godless will insist. War will be declared.

And Lenny and Samantha will be caught in the crossfire.

Despite their differences and the animosity that such will breed, they will find their hearts gravitating towards each other. Antipathy will turn into affection. Detestation will transform into desire. Contempt will ignite their passion. And in the ashes of their conflict, they will find love.

As well as a trail of blood and a rain of corpses.

Will their bond be strong enough to survive the violence that will follow them?

Or will their love, as well as themselves, become casualties of a brutal feud?

Lenny (the prospect with PTSD), Samantha (the mc's president's daughter) and the Filthy Dogs are the main focus of this book. I really love biker books but had problems with this one. First of, the editing of this book. There were a lot of grammatical mistakes that should have been caught that were distracting me from the book. Second, it seems that this book was written about another location and changed to make it take place in the U.S. Third, the mc Samantha was not a very likeable character and had me questioning her actions and values. to be continued and edited.

Lenny “Lowlife” Kesler is a prospect for the filthy dogs MC and to say they treated him like crap was an understatement but it was all part of being a prospect, to prove this is the life you were cut out for.
When the president tells Lenny that he is to pick up his daughter and protect her. Lenny is not impressed but doesn't say a word he agrees and makes his way to the bus station. Samantha Cross left san Mateo five years ago. She left with her mother when her parents got divorced and if honest her mother never recovered drinking a bottle of whiskey most nights. Now that she had passed away she was back but she wasn't happy to be back. To say she hated her father would be a understatement. Once she got her paper work signed she was out of there. And Sam wasn't happy that her father had sent a prospect to pick her up. So when she sweet talked Lenny into getting her an ice cream she stole the car and made her way to the doughnut shop where the charter was hanging out. But she got the shock of her life when she got there. Her father and a rival charter were talking and it wasn't going well and ended in the words its war!!! And now they knew about Samantha. the president is not happy and gets Lenny on his last chance to get Samantha far away
But things dont go to plan when the charter they were going to was hit and lenny is shot in the back of the neck and goes down bleeding out in front of Samantha before she is taken away to the rivals club house.
This is a brilliant read that kept me on the edge of my seat. What will Samantha do now?? Will her father put the club before her??? Can they save her or will revenge be all they have in their futures??
Totally loved this book and cant wait to read more from the filfty dogs MC. This is my first book by Ora Wilde and I cant wait to read more from you.

Lenny is a prospect for Filthy Dogs MC for almost a year, with no end in sight. He has one job to do today - pick up Prez' daughter and take her to a warehouse where she'll be safe. Samantha hasn't seen her father (Prez) in five years. She's more than a little perturbed when he sends a prospect to pick her up. She manages to outsmart him, and they both show up at the clubhouse right before war breaks out with Godless MC. Lenny is charged with getting her out of town and keeping her safe. And he tries really hard to do that, but Godless is two steps ahead of them. Lenny is left shot and bleeding, and Samantha is taken by Godless. I really enjoyed this book - it was a page-turner that I had trouble putting down for things like sleep, work and dinner. Lenny and Samantha have immediate chemistry, which both of them are quick to deny, even when they have a little sexual interlude. This is my first read from this author, and I'm looking forward to more.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED this book! I could NOT stand Samantha! She is self centered, deceitful, conniving, pretentious and just a NASTY NASTY IMMATURE girl! Yes I said it GIRL! She is NOT a WOMAN. The Daddy issues that she has because she is so selfish and harbors hatred when she has NO idea and beliefs that are so out of order is just beyond me. I could NOT stand her and had a hard time even liking her even after everything. She does redeem herself somewhat but in the end I feel she fell short even at that. LENNY I want one of him on my side, in my bed, outside my door, HELL anyway I can get him. The man is walking sex! I like the Nomad look on Lenny. He is honorable when he needs to be, VICIOUS when he needs to be, and just an all around GOOD guy. This is why I am NOT so patiently waiting for the next book. Ora did not disappoint with this book. She has peaked our interests and kept us hanging in the MOST CRUELEST way but has NOT let us DOWN. One hell of a book right along with its writer.

When lives are in jeopardy, you roll up your sleeves and take out the trash. Grappling with the trials and tribulations along with so much drama and smouldering suspense that blaze through melding this baby together delightfully. Their personalities are well matched as revelations are revealed in all its splendor. Exceptional job Ora, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

This was my first book by Ora Wilde. Overall it was a fine story. However, I do not care for the heroine Samantha. She supposedly grew up around the mc but was not a very strong character and was too mercenary for my tastes. She cared more about her name brand luggage than anything else. Hopefully the series gets better but the interaction between characters doesn’t seem to work well with a 1%er group of guys.?

Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Lenny is doing things he normally would not do, he wants to be a biker so he has to work his way up, the president of the motorbike club called Lenny and gave him a very important job, to be her bodyguard the Presidents daughter. There is action, thriller, adrenaline pumping, hate, murder and love just to soften the sides.

An amazing 1st book in the Filthy Dogs MC series! It is a well written engaging read that will hold your interest from start to finish leaving you wanting more. It is a wild, thrilling, and emotionally deep ride with drama, suspense, action, danger, mystery, twists and turns, and so much more. Definitely recommended!

Some humorous moment are a relief in an exciting story of an unlikely couple thrown together in a dangerous situation. Lenny was the first book I have read by this author and I intend to read the rest of this series.

This is my first time reading this author and it was good. The story kept me interested till the end. The story was good, the characters are enjoyable and great chemistry between Sam and Lenny. I look forward to read more from this author. A overall good book.

A Real Real MC Book

Lenny is a marvelous read. Actual intelligent dialog. Real MC action. The plot is superb. The love story not contrived. I am looking forward to the next installment.
