The hits just keep coming for the Noble family. Half of them are stranded on a hostile alien world; and back on Earth, an escaped mental patient who claims to be Doc Noble is headed straight for Noble Manor! All this, plus Zephyr finally goes into labor.
Great series combining super heroes and soap operas. The story revolves around a family of super heroes. Most of the family is off in another dimension trying to end a war the military started. Some revelations happen along the way as well. Then Zephyr finally has her baby.
This book has more heroics still than even the last one. Even Liz gets a heroic moment. But it's really all about the drama.
There is a short story at the end staring Invincible, Shawdohawk, Zephyr Noble, and some golden colored dragon boy, but put Image Comics in a search with Dragon (even with gold and boy) all you'll get is Savage Dragon. That is to say I have no idea who he is.
One thing I really noticed in this book, the art doesn't always mesh, and the quality can fluctuate wildly. That's been true pretty much the whole time, but it's more noticeable here.
This series is more soap opera than super heroes. Lot's of plot points not so great on characterization. Where as things happen for different heroes they all seem to go back to status quo much like a soap opera. Zephyr has her demon baby. Doc Noble has his body stolen by a frail old man. No one noticed the difference.
