Another good read from Emma East
Once again I like how the author is able to provide an interesting storyline and intimate scenes that doesn't feel forced. It seems East intimate scenes flows perfectly with the story instead of a - cut to the bedroom scene. Darcy was crazy about Elizabeth and Elizabeth was physically attracted to Darcy. Elizabeth thoughts made their relationship more complicated than necessary, but it wasn't over the top.

Short steamy read with HEA
An interesting short & steamy Pride and Prejudice retelling with a happy ending. It was a quick read, but packed a punch.

(Some spoilers) Story started with EB residing at Nertherfield during Jane's illness. EB was walking, contemplating and then finding Mr Darcy in the woods. They sought an assignation and intimate interaction. Then the story goes from there. Their parting and reuniting and getting married. One thing, I find unique in this story, was that Mr Hurst has a very active role between ODC. (Surprise he went through such actions. Not sure why he married Louisa or Louisa knows. Also how he figured out EB). This is what interest me the most.
On the first book, EB was bold but slightly out of character (as well as FD leaving ). Anyway, for fans of ODC, the story is interestings and is for mature audiences only.

4.5 stars - I'd like to think that Jane Austen was a typical woman and, if allowed the opportunity, would have liked to have written in at least a few of these scenes. They add some appreciated heat to the classic. The stories contain the POV of Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
