When Everything Falls Apart
Life was not easy for a young Jay Lloyd in rural Virginia. Heartaches abounded from an early age, leaving him only his trusty dog to rely on. Being born into a very dysfunctional home only compounded the odds against him. A harsh and, at times, abusive father drove him toward the edge of desperation.
Turning to civic leaders and the church brought him no relief at all. If anything, it multiplied his problems exponentially. With no hope in sight anywhere on the horizon, his cry from the heart for help was heard by a very caring and loving God.
But would it be in time? Had the answer come along too late? And would he ever find peace in his own life and forgiveness for those whose actions had driven him to his place of despair?
