Pol Pot's Reign of Terror: The Killing Fields Revisited
From April 1975 to January of 1979 Pol Pot murdered nearly two million of his own people out of a population of seven million, thus introducing a new word into the English language, "Auto-Genocide" the murder of one's own people. The World just stood by and let it happen. Why was this allowed to happen? What events created this Monster? Was it the dropping of two and a half million tons of explosives by the USA on a neutral country in its' war with Vietnam? Were there other factors that led to the annihilation of a quarter of Cambodia's population? Who was responsible? How do the people of Cambodia now view the havoc that was wreaked on them by one of their own. The answers are contained in this article.

The Khmer Rouge. The land mines that still remain.
The super powers have created the political and social conditions that allowed an insane man to take control of a county and to run amok.
Mentions of communism: Zero.
Extremely revisionist.
Lack of editing. Run-on sentences. Missing commas. Spelling errors.
Bro can’t even spell Phnom Penh correctly; he actually misspells it four times.
It’s a special kind of dishonesty to discuss the evils of communism without ever using the C-word yourself.
Indeed, unknown at the time and even now, it was China who was supporting Pol Pot, they were behind his madness.

While I recognized this dictator's name I did not know the depth of his reign of terror in Cambodia, a country I have visited three times.
