But can Wyatt and Marcy move past their initial reasons for marriage and embrace the genuine feelings growing between them? Will they find their true happily-ever-after amid the fields and skies of Three Rivers?
This closed door cowboy romance of unexpected love and second chances will warm your heart and leave you rooting for Marcy and Wyatt's journey to true love.

Wyatt’s Pretend Pledge is book 5 in the Seven Sons in Three Rivers series by Liz Isaacson and these stories get better and better!
While each book is a standalone with a different couple about their trials, problems, emotions and navigating through life...you also see the interaction between the rest of the family and how they help each other to live a life centered around faith, hope and love!!
Wyatt's been very patient with Marcy. It's been 18 months of him going out to the hangar and taking care of things. Things like bringing her food or picking up after her or taking her and her father food and just hanging around to make sure everything is okay with her and her father. Because he just can't imagine how hard it is to watch your father dying from cancer. When she breaks it off again in August, when she comes to the hospital after his back surgery, he knows it's because of everything going on in her life. He just needs to be patient! He finally decides to ask her out again for the New Year's eve party and she accepts! When she doesn't show when she said she would, he waits then when he can't wait any longer, goes to her father's house and her car is there. What he finds leaves him heartbroken. There on the floor is Marcy crying her heart out and her father dead on the couch. He leaves her be to grieve and then he gets a phone call and she asks him to come to the lawyer's office! Why does she need him to come there? What could the lawyer have possibly said that warrants her upset? What will Wyatt do to try to fix it for her? Only one way to find out, read this great story by Liz Isaacson!
To get her inheritance, she needs a husband. He's wanted to fly with her for ages. Can their pretend pledge turn into something real?
Marcy Payne has been flying the crop-dusters over farms and ranches in Three Rivers for two decades. She's been running the family business as her father ages, so she's shocked when he dies suddenly–and she can't keep the planes and her career unless she's married.
One such ranch she's been keeping pest-free is Seven Sons, and when former rodeo star Wyatt Walker learns of her plight, he seizes the opportunity to keep himself in her life. Seizes it without fear, the way he tamed bulls for all those years–down on both knees, with a diamond ring extended toward Marcy.
She likes Wyatt, and there's no one else proposing, so Marcy and Wyatt take the leap and tie the knot. As she teaches him about the planes, and he opens up about the challenges of his rodeo career, Marcy starts to fall for the gruff cowboy. Will Wyatt and Marcy be able to stop playing pretend when the feelings get real to find a true happily-ever-after?
Wyatt's Pretend Pledge (Book 5) is a visit back to Three Rivers and the 7 Sons Ranch. This book follows the love of Wyatt and Marcy. Her Dad dying at the end of Jeremiah's Bogus Bride (Book 4), is where Wyatt's and her story picks back up. There was a stipulation left in her Daddy's will that she had 6 months to get married and stay married a year to keep the crop dusting business. This was such a surprise to her that she calls Wyatt. She knew Wyatt was always the one to figure out just what to do and then do it. They started out to be pretend but, by the time the wedding rolled around they thought it was for real, or was it? But this story is oh so much more than just about Wyatt and Marcy. More babies, new homes, and at the end when they are about to celebrate Christmas, Skylar drops a bomb on everybody. This book is an adventure for the entire Walker family!
A rodeo cowboy finds love with a lady crop duster.
Loved being back at Seven Sons with the Walker Boys. Wyatt and Marcy story was sweet. Wyatt took on the part of looking after Marcy. He became her rodeo king. They had there ups and downs. Each Walker boy loved being the hero. Even though sometimes they did it the wrong way. But it turned out well for them in the end. It was so nice to her about the kids each one of them had. Whether it was Conrad Rhett and Evelyn son or Oliver and Isaac Tripp and Ivory sons or Liam and Callie girls Denise and Ginger. Even Jeremiah and Whitney son Jonah and the next one coming. Looking forward to Skyler and Mallory story and also Micah and Simone. So happy the Walker men are finding their happily ever after. Hope Wyatt back gets better too. Will go back and read Gideon and Penny story.
This book I could not put down. Wow, The excitement played through all the seven brothers. As I read it I was like Please Dear God help them especially when Ivory had started bleeding as they were headed to the hospital to have the baby. The when Whitney went into labor, and Jeremiah wasn’t close and Micah got there and had to call the ambulance which didn’t get there on time. And Wyatt and Marcy break up, Micah heart getting broke from Simone again! Then Skyler, the one who will never get married. Guess what fake marriage he got into. Through everything the family always never lost Faith, always prayed to God along with they Praised God. This honestly is a must read book! I think this book honestly showed how tight the Walker’s sons are and their growing family, this is a picture perfect of what a family’s love should look like.
Wyatt’s Pretend Pledge: Christmas Brides for Billionaire Brothers: Seven Sons Ranch in Three Rivers Romance Book 5 is by Liz Isaccson. This book follows Wyatt as he continues to try to get Marcy Payne to admit that she likes him. Marcy is caught up in the death of her Father and keeping the crop dusting business going with only herself as the sole employee. Then the estate attorney drops a bomb on Marcy. In order to inherit the business, she had to be married and stay married for at least a year. How could her Father have done this to her? Where in four months could she find someone to marry her and then stay that way for a year? The only men she knew were those who she worked for and Wyatt. She could marry Wyatt! Would he agree? Would the marriage work out?
This book is everything you could want in a Cowboy romance. Strong and self assured with just a slight sprinkle of vulnerability. Wyatt has wanted a deeper relationship for Marcy for a while. He’s the type of self-assured man that isn’t afraid to face bulls or to go after the woman he wants. Marcy isn’t ready for a relationship, so he gives her the space she needs while making no bones about his interest and being there to help when needed/wanted. When Marcy’s dad dies and stipulates that she must get married to keep the business that has been her life, she runs right to Wyatt. The problem is she tells him she wants a pretend relationship. What if he believes her? I received an ARC copy of this book and I am leaving a voluntary review.
Crop duster pilot Marcy needs a husband. And Quick. Wyatt Walker, rodeo champion, recently retired, has been following her. Helping her. Wanting her for months, so he's the first man who comes to mind. The only one, really. When he discovers her predicament he immediate proposes. She needs a husband and he's more than willing to be that for her. What could go wrong? Plenty. Two people who have lived independent, solitary lives, really only dealing with families, are now thrust together. Can they learn to share, love and be together? It's an interesting, evolving trip of learning what life requires to be together. Lovely, moving story of family, trust and love.
Wyatt’s Pretend Pledge is a cute, clean cowboy billionaire romance. It is part of a series, and as part of the story occurs in the previous books, it’s best to listen to them all in order.
My biggest complaint is that the female lead feels selfish. She left him when he was hurt and didn’t come back until he had recovered. That in itself is a huge red flag that had me screaming at him to find someone else. I also feel it’s a bit silly that none of these men can make a real marriage proposal.
I like the narrator fine and think she does a good job. My husband says she sounds like a robot. Of course, he only listened for about two minutes. These are definitely not written for men.
This is another good book by Liz! I am thoroughly enjoying this series. Love the Walker family! They are such a caring family who put their faith in God. Wyatt was a rodeo star who is not self-centered. He really likes Marcy. She is a crop dusting pilot and a plane mechanic. Her father died and Marcy thinks that she will inherit her father's crop dusting business. But she finds out that she has to be married for a year in order to inherit. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
I really liked this story about Wyatt and Marcy. Wyatt really cared for Marcy, but she would not really commit to him because her father had colon cancer. She was a pilot and had taken over her father’s business dusting and spraying field for insects and such. Her father died and after he was buried, the estate planner told Marcy, she would inherit the business, but a condition was placed on the inheritance. Marcy had to be married and stay married for one year. You will enjoy reading ands see how they work this out.
Wyatt Walker offers to marry Marcy Payne in order for her to keep her father’s crop-dusting business. He’s been interested her for a long time, but she’s pushed him away in the past, now they must remain married for at least a year. The plot features trust, acceptance and forgiveness. Liz Isaacson is writes great books with families and bringing each family member into each book of the series. I’d highly recommend reading this series.
Fall in love with the Seven Sons Ranch! The characters are deep and rich with emotion. Wyatt is king of the rodeo and Marcy is a crop dusting piolet. Can these two make their fake relationship into a real one? Does the heart know best? Find out in this beautiful story! I highly recommend it! Happy Reading!
You have to love this family. Wyatt is a man of considerable fame. His wife is more reserved but has to come to grips with his stardom. They pray and they work it out. I love the faithfulness of this family. Each one has found love while trying to help. And it appears the next brother is already on that sliding slope. Love this series.
I enjoyed the book. Liz Isaacson keeps the different stories straight which is a blessing. From on book to the next, the characters don't change names of places where they met or lived or whatever, which happens a lot in series an i find it highly annoying. So thanks Liz!
I just love this series. This time it is Wyatt's turn to marry a woman to help her out of a tough spot. Of course he has always liked her and how the opportunity to marry her is in his reach. Will their marriage of convivence turn into the real thing like his siblings? I have a feeling it just might. Loved it!
Enjoyed the continuation of the story of the seven Walter sons. They are strong men who want to help women who are strong but are caught in a bind. Their solution is to marry the woman they are interested in even if the woman may not be interested in them beyond being a friend. The stories are different but linked together. Love all of Liz Isaacson books.
For some reason, the all Walker brothers are marrying to rescue their brides. Wyatt marries to save his wife's inheritance. It takes a while until they finally agree to make their marriage permanent. I love that the very real struggles they work through get resolved in the end.
This was another wonderful saga of what it can be like when 2 who love each other and yet can't quite give into the love Find a special push to be able to make it work. This 1 did get a little over detailed in a couple of areas But other than that it was as amazing as the rest.
I enjoyed this fun novel that found me back with the brothers of Seven son's ranch. I enjoyed Wyatt and Marcy's story. I appreciated her deep love for her father and the legacy he had left her. I loved that Wyatt was willing to step up and save it for her. I enjoyed seeing them navigate their marriage to find their way to enjoyment and love.
Another great book in this series. I really enjoyed getting a better insight into Wyatt's mind to see how it worked. Clean romance, worth the read. Better if you read them in order.
Liked the story of Wyatt and Marcy. The rest of the story was a little confusing but it must be because I've missed one. There are a lit of characters. Can't wait to dive into the next one.
In this book of the Walker Brothers, Wyatt's Pretend Pledge we see that when he wants to help someone he admires it is easily misunderstood. Can they learn to communicate and overcome their mutual insecurities?
As usual each brother has reasons for their marriages. And both parties go into their marriages in order to be a help for their pardner. Respecting and a big step of faith determines the outcome and true love shows up.
I enjoyed reading this book as well as all the ones before. The men have great hearts and love of God in their lives. The women are just as special. They all have their own challenges and insecurities to overcome. That is what makes it hard to put down the books.
I just love this series of stories. I find myself caught up in the romance and heart aches and even talking to the characters throughout the book. Can't wait to read about the next brother, Skyler. Such an awesome series of stories.
Wyatt cant get Marcy off of his mind . She keeps turning him away her father is dying with cancer and she can not take anymore. He marries her to help her out but can they really find love and can she learn to share him.
I've never been disappointed by any of this author's books! And this family has so much for her to write about! I love the "fake marriage" theme that runs through this series and how it never ends up being fake by the end.
