Meh
*WARNING* story contains explicit sexual content. This has spousal abuse, so beware of triggers.
Dragons are my favorite type of shifter. This is an okay story. There's not a lot of action or who dunnit in this story, but a lot of planning. There's not anything in this story to make it entertaining and/or interesting. It's just "okay".

I found this story Interesting
I would have given this story more stars But they really needed to edit it more. The characters Were Interesting. The story line kept suspense going And you wanted to read it to the very end. Sad when a person who doesn't spell well Can pick up the misspelled words easily..... This author 1 more time Because I do like the storyline.

Great series
I love this series. I have read it all twice. It is a great read that flows nicely. There is romance that makes sense.

Hot & Cold
I was prepared to give this a five star rating but after all the crap Nathan our Annie through I think she gave into him to easily! Though the storyline was great and intense but I think that Annie should have made Nathan suffer a lot more than he did and drag him through the coals!! But the story was great overall!

Stilted storyline by atrocious proof reading
Story is fine but it was spoilt for me by the really bad proof reading, so many mistakes made with spelling and grammar, jolted me out of the plot, that it too my attention away from the story

Brilliant read
Loved reading this book well written with good characters enjoyed the chemistry between Nathan and Annie both dragon shifters. Annie has been rescued from her husband and the alpha dragon she is to be used as bait to draw him out she has a rough times at the hands of her husband beating her up to isolating her no friends family no access to phones or allowed to go anywhere with out him the only thing she is allowed to do is her ballet. Nathan has been given the job of abducting Annie keeping her safe but also use to draw her husband out what he didn’t plan for was the feelings he was getting around her things he hadn’t felt for a long time not since his wife was killed. Annie puts her trust in Nathan she is falling in love with him but he betrays her trust and when her husband is killed and she is safe Annie is now free to go and be anything she wants. Annie isn’t sure where Nathan is but her brother turns up and asks about Nathan. Nathan isn’t surprised Annie doesn’t want to see him but he goes to her first ballet but runs out Annie calls after him they need to decide to put there trust in each other as they can’t live without each other.

This is an amazing & intriguing dragon shifter romance, the plot is well-thought-out & adventurous; there are some excellent scene descriptions. The characters are well-developed & interesting with different traits & sides to their personalities

Great Book
This book was great especially that dragons are my favorite shifter to read about? You won't be disappointed in any way with plenty of action, adventure, drama, abuse, hot sexy scenes, and awesome characters. A must buy and so ready to read the next book.

Annie is a ballerina and a dragon. She meets Alexander who is the Alpha of his Dragon Tribe. After a fairy tale wedding her relationship takes a dark turn, plunging her into the dark side of the fairy tale. Alexander is controlling, abusive, and scares her. Until one night in the middle of a performance when she is kidnapped by a secret agent.
Nathan has lived through trauma and become an assassin to seek revenge for his wife's death. But Annie wakes something dormant in him. It isn't long before the lovely, damaged Dragon Queen becomes more to him than just bait. But her husband Alexander is still a real threat to their lives. I loved this! Nathan rescues Annie from Anthony who is abusive and also the Alpha of the clan! She is a dancer but held under his thunb for so long she no nonger recognises herself! Nathan, on the other hand is a FIRE agent and assassin after his wife is killed and emotionless until he meets Annie! He is supposed to use her as bait to get to her abusive husband but does not count on her getting to him!
A good flowing read with action and drama and romance that had me engrosed! I love the prose and the writing style of Ms Starr and look forward to more from this series

Wow! Ms. Starr again writes with extraordinary flair a story with a brash and daring dragon who is merciless in his protection of the woman he is destined to love. Riveting story that captivates and engages you and has you gasping at the twist and turns, total escapism at its best! I voluntarily read and reviewed and Advance Reader Copy of this book.

It's okay
It's cheesy, the characters are wimpy. It just kind of wanders and didn't make a lot of sense. There is an HEA, but your left trying to figure out the purpose of the bad guy, the interaction with her brother is dumped in there. There are a bunch of editing errors that would have benefited from a good editor.

Great read and intense all the way through.
Boy is the story riveting. So much going on nasty Alpha, a group of people working at making sure no alpha gets too powerful. A hero who lies a heroine who is used as bait and at the end lots of love. Just the best ending.

Great Book!
Maia Starr is a great author. The characters in this book are well defined and the plot is easy to follow. The twists are surprising and will keep the readers intrigued from start to finish. I cannot wait to read her next book!

Another hit!
Maia Starr has done it again. This book has action and some sex. The characters are so real with real issues. They are dragons but the book mostly deals with human life issues of being dominated, closing others, and being afraid of love. Can’t wait for the next one.

This is a good read. I enjoyed the story and all the action and romance.
She has really suffered. He wants to protect her but it is not what the mission was designed to do. They have great chemistry.

Enjoyable.
Good story, has some spelling errors that sometimes didn't make sense, but it was a proper story that has a beginning middle and end. Great storyline loved the character.

Wonderful dragon book
If you are into reading about shifter dragons than this is a book for you...is is great I couldn’t stop reading it, I finished it in one day. It has danger, suspense betrayal/trust and great love scenes. It made me wish I was a dragon shifter myself.
