I didn’t even want to go to this New Year’s Eve party. But there I was, decked out in a borrowed dress, trying to avoid a stranger who’d set his eyes on me the moment I walked into the room. In an effort to escape, I ran into the arms of the most handsome man I’d ever seen in real life. And from the moment our gazes locked, I knew I’d never been the same.
Oliver:
I mean, what man doesn’t want to be the hero of a gorgeous woman? When Chloe threw herself at me, begging me to pretend we were together, I immediately wondered who was pretending. I didn’t know who she was, or what she was doing at my party, but I knew without a doubt that she belonged to me. Now I just have to convince her.
I believe that love is love and it happens in a flash.
Whether it starts with action and adventure and adrenaline...or with just a glance across a crowded room. Happily ever after is never far away.

A very enjoyable one. I loved how determined he was. He'll do anything and give everything to have her and to make her happy. He's sweet and I loved how he loved her.
The Barista and the Billionaire was pretty awesome safe short read. Oliver meets Chloe by chance at his New Year's Eve party and it is love at first sight from there on out. No drama, no ow/om bs, instaeverything. A Happily Ever After with an Epilogue 8 years and a couple of babies out
°Virgin heroine (20) °Unclear if the H was a virgin or not °Switching POVs °Insta love/lust °Alpha hero °No OW/OM drama °No cheating or scenes with OP °Epilogue: 6 months and 8 years later
I was disappointed in this book. Really disappointed. I didn't even finish reading the book. Honestly it just felt boring even though when reading the synopsis it felt promising.
This was a totally relaxing, if quick, afternoon light romance. I only give 5 star reviews for books I would read again...and again. This one falls in that category. Sometimes we all need a little insta-love. That’s all this is. Not a Scooby Doo Mystery. None of the dreaded ‘angst’ so many ‘romance’ writers seem to think we need, or want. Just a fast paced, love at first sight, (even if it’s a little far fetched) relaxing way to spend a cold and snowy afternoon. I loved it!
No pumpkin, no glass slippers, but a nosey aunt who wants the best for Chloe. Oliver hates parties, but the moment he sees Chloie, he knows she will be his wife. First he has to find her and make her understand that it's who she is, not what she is that made him instantly fall in love 💘💘💘. Dakota Renal has written an awesome book that shows that life is sometimes a fairytale when you least expect it.
The secluded hero who wants nothing to do with the girls that throw themselves at him, and the heroine who feels so out of place in his world. Love at first sight for both if them HEA in an instant. Gotta love this kind of books. Please more books like that. And personally I would love a book about Peyton😁
Quick safe read with a lot of sparks. Highly enjoyable, great for bedtime reading just the right length. I found the storyline and characters to be a little on the over the top side but I believe that was intentional and it didn’t detract from the story. Pick this book up for a little bedtime pick me up 😉.
It’s an insta-love story that will make you a believer. As the saying goes, if you’re meant to be you’re meant to be. Oliver and Chloe are perfect and belong together.
I'm glad her aunt force her to go to the party. She never would have Oliver and gotten need and married in six months. I really enjoyed this book. Funny how she is the one going cavewoman on him.
Chloe is invited to a rich persons party. She is immediately chatted up by some weird guy, so she runs into the arms of another guy and asks him to be her fake boyfriend. The rest is pretty amazing!
