Grey and April are on the run from the Thirteen Crew, a White Supremacist organization, with her 4 year old twins. They are in a race against time as they try to escape the men who are looking to kill April and her kids.
Tension builds between Grey and April as they try to stay a step ahead of the Thirteen Crew and the shocking leader of that organization.
This is book #3 of The Sons of Chaos and Carnage trilogy. It's recommended to read all three books even though they can be read as standalone books. This is an BWWM interracial MC romance.
Grey and April's story was a very quick but memorable read due to the white nationalist group's subject matter... race traitor husband and the hidden agendas with a Vice President of the United States and how the MC had to handle the problem.
I'm still interested in learning how Colt's parents met! That would be a great .05 addition to the series.
I loved Grey and April’s story but it was super short and I wanted more! I did expect a bigger fight as alluded in Colt’s book, but was a bit disappointed that it was not one. Baby miracle’s part in her parents proposal was precious. Good thing this is fiction, because I was thinking that if they did not hurry up and take that ring from her, it would only just be a matter of time that she ingests it. I am sorry that this family’s story is over. The characters will be greatly missed!
This was more novella length than anything. There are definite plot holes and the characters need more development. Adding an apostrophe to I is no bueno. The term is "ever since" not "every since". The tense in some scenes is mixed with present and past tense. This makes the reading clunky.
The trilogy is an interesting idea but could use a rewrite to expand ideas, further develop the characters, and refine the plot.
While I really liked this story and all of the action and the sexiness, what I didn't was how quickly it ended. The writer gives a good accounting of the events but we are not getting a story, at least not the full story. This story deals with such a very heavy subject, something that's happening today. Hats off to the writer for handling the subject with class. This was a good addition to the series but I just wished that there was more.
Greg turned out to be the right man for April after all, I just love how Grey knew that April was the right woman for him. Especially when her husband turned out to be a bad person who hurt her and their children in the end. He got his in the end, and April and the children got the love she and deserve in the end.
I loved April and Grey’s relationship. Grey was bold and forward about why he liked April, their future, father to her children and future children with him. The storyline was very informative.
Although there were some editing issues I basically enjoyed this series. This one was shorter than The others but wrapped up The stories. The VP being the head boogie man isn't that far fetch just scary as hell. Until the next time.
I have really enjoyed this series. It has a lot of drama and insta- love and romance but the plot is not as far fetched as it would have been in the. I like the biker/MC plot that has a nice twist.
