Loved this overview of Albania's culture and history. I give it 5 stars because it was just what I needed -- a juvenile non-fiction book full of photos that I could read in just a few hours. Though I learned a lot, unfortunately I wasn't left with an assurance that this is a completely safe part of the world for a 20 year old girl to live in for a 16 months. But my daughter is in the MTC learning Albanian and loving it, and I'm excited for her!
Note: to anyone looking for a scholarly work on Albania written by a native or even someone who has been to Albania, this is NOT what you're looking for.
