It is time for the wrongs of the past to be put right. It was never going to be easy.
Amarilla and Infinity have been the catalysts for change that they agreed to be, but they know there is more to be done. If they can befriend the Woeful and persuade the rest of humankind to do the same, then the destructive ways of The Old will forever be behind them.

Amarilla, Infinity and their friends set out on a journey to find the Woeful but their search becomes something so much more due to a courageous chestnut mare, a lone Woeful youngling and numerous herds of wild horses who seek their help along the way. But the friends never forget what they agreed to do. They must reach the heart of the Woeful community. And then they must be willing to risk losing everything…

Incredible

Spoilers
This book continues romance book 1 and lands you right in the thick of it this one is centered around the woeful / kindred and how they fit into the grand plan of things it was beautiful everyone found a place in the plan. I loved how they made sure that Aleks ... Was looked after when he was afraid I was sad when we found out what had really happened to the Kindred and how be had played a roll in there treatment and that he was forgoven. I'm glad that there was a way to help them with healing although the older ones have gone to far for them to help. I can't wait for book 3.
I loved the stories of people at the end with there own horses the author provided they mean so much to us all 🐴🐎💗

What an inspiring book

I wasn't sure if this would be my kind of book but I absolutely loved it.
It's well written and such a clever idea. I found myself relating things to experiences with my own horse and I feel more connected to him now.

Fascinating

I don't have a horse to bond with. In IL I love to watch the horses the first spring day that was warm and dry enough to let them into the paddock. Loved to watch them run and kick up their heels. They were free, not in a stall anymore after a long, cold winter. Great job. Thank you.

Book 2 of the trilogy continues wonderfully from book 1. Reading it gives an overall joy to my soul as it offers insight into improving relationships between horse & rider and numerous other relationships (between people, with nature, etc.). Throughout it reminds us to believe in our dreams and how that confidence helps make dreams reality but balances with accepting some things or people are as they choose to be and that's okay.

Liked the book and it’s premise. A little too wordy and could move a little faster. I love horses and agree that they are very intuitive. I’ve finished book two and starting on the third one. The word “whilst” bothers me and she uses it often. That’s probably just a cultural thing. I’m imagining the author expanding many of the interesting characters into their own stories. I love the idea that we humans could achieve “balance” like the rest of nature

A wonderful tale about knowing we are all the same and that we are here to help each other grow, to accept each other and that everything happens as it should. I like how Amarilla and Infinity strive to put everyone they meet into perfect balance with their horses and live a peaceful existence. Their practice reminds me a little of horse therapy and secular Buddhism. I just don't understand why riding the horses allow them to achieve their awareness or for the horses to be in balance. I did enjoy the traveling group learning to trust the Kindred when for many years they feared them.
This is just a wonderful story and very good sequel to the first novel.

I want to thank Post Hypnotic Press Audiobook for a free copy of this wonderful and wishful tale

The second in a series, 'The Horses Know' drops you right into the thick of multiple story elements that don't ever quite congeal. Once again, Lynn Mann waxes poetic about horses; describing various riding maneuvers in a way only a horse-aficionado can fully appreciate in characteristic wordy manner. Dialogue is realistic and flows well and romance doesn't take away from the story. Woeful race history is expanded upon and characters explored. Resolution in tension feels rushed and not fully developed, but will surely still be plenty entertaining for teen readers. I'm not as impressed with this book as the first, but hold out hope for the final installment of the trilogy.

Good read if you read the first one

I enjoyed the first book ,I had to put my horse down a little over a month ago he was my heart, my soul and spirit. As read the first book it made me realize how true a lot of what was horse bonded meant, my Harley and I. I then read this book and still I felt a true meaning of horse bonded that people with horses may never know and some will definitely know. I liked how the second book had everything come together. Off to start the third in the series.

The. Horses Rejoice

Such an exceptional tale. It feels like part fairytale and part truth. The characters are easy to imagine. The spelling and grammar are correct so not a distraction. The storyline is unlike anything else I have ever read. It is a beautiful journey well worth taking. I will be following.this author wherever she ventures!

The Horses Rejoice

The second book of this trilogy was, at first, kind of hard to follow! Sometimes I felt like I couldn't tell whether the characters were thinking, or the horses were! But, I persevered, much like when you are working with an animal, and I finally found the rhythms of both humans and horses!

This second in the series moved more into the fantasy genre with deeper exploration of The Kindred. Not quite as magical as the first book, but many second books of a series suffer that fate. Enjoyed it, and moving on to the third!

Finished this book in one day! I couldn’t put it down. I was thrilled to return to the characters that I fell in love with in The Horses Know, and reading this book was every bit as calming as the first one. I can’t say enough wonderful things about it! Absolutely worth the read.
