Andy Lee’s a comedian, musician, and TV presenter, who became an award winning children’s books’ author by accident. The first book in this series was only ever meant to have one copy. Andy wrote it as a surprise for his sister and her husband to celebrate their son George’s first birthday.

When he asked his mate to print him one copy, his mate said, ‘This book is good, can we print more?’ What did Andy reply? ‘No. DO NOT print this book.’ Pretty sure you can guess what happened next.

This is my third Do Not Open book and I love this one just as much. My job is finding books the children will adore and I feel this fits with the funny illustrations as well as the main character's pleads to not turn a single page. The kids will love this one as part of a read aloud too.

Takes the basic, now very well established idea of not wanting you to turn the page & adds in a new twist.

It was starting to get annoying because it was the same thing. I am glad the monster has a friend.

A fun little book that entertained both me and my niece who quietly said “turn the page” at every page. I haven’t read the previous stories in this series but I definitely plan to!

Cute, but it seemed to be exactly the same as the classic Grover book, There's a Monster at the end of this book.

My son loves this book and this series. He laughs so loud no matter how many times he reads it.

Reverse psychology at its best and stretching the series even further!
Heath McKenzie’s illustrations are a great accompaniment to the text.
