It’s been just over a year since Becca moved to Farm Yard Cottage and she is in need of advice from veterinary nurse, Grace, over the latest unexpected animal arrivals...
Grace is finally settling into living in the countryside after uprooting her life to start afresh, and with new pets, new friends and a new romance with Becca’s brother, Scott, there is plenty to keep Grace focused on the future.
However intrusive memories of the past have a hold over her, but there is little time for her to dwell, as she has kittens to foster, a sleepover to attend and a bonfire date to keep.
The nights are drawing in and it’s all chutney, kittens and cosiness in the fourth instalment of the Farm Yard Cottage Collection.
These ficlets have been such quick and enjoyable reads. The author draws you in to the lives of the characters. I am thrilled to find out there will be a fifth instalment.
This is novella number four in ‘The Farm Yard Cottage’ series and the more parts I am reading the more I want to find out what is going to happen! I really loved this part of the story as we get to hear more of Grace’s back story and of how she had to move to the rural countryside to get away from things. I love how we are continually introduced to new characters ( in this book it is Cherry’s new assistant Evie and Cherry’s Scottish cousin Gregor) while still keeping the storyline going for all the original characters from all the other previous books. We also get to find out what happened to the family of kittens from the last book! I’m now going to read the next book in the series and see what happens to Gregor!!
