this book is a must have for physiotherapists. It discusses assessment thoroughly and comprehensively, going through all special tests you'll ever need to know with pictures or illustrations.
I am a student and I haven't used any book as much as this one. you can never go wrong with this book.
What a excellent reference. The diagrams, photos and descriptions all help and make this book an invaluable resource for my new profession, Registered Massage Therapy. I expect to use this for years to come.
This was honestly the hardest book to read cover to cover but what gotta be done gotta be done. Its a great read because theres so much information its conscise and it comes with a CD of all the sources for further study. If theres one book I really appreciate and hate for my Physiotherapy study its this one!
A pretty thorough guide to neuromuscular assessment. The way it’s organized makes it easy to find what you’re looking for, and the tests and clinical applications are well-described. Sometimes feels a bit repetitive, but that’s probably better for learning purposes. Good value for what it offers. I’d recommend for any one starting out or looking to refresh their knowlege.
I found that the text would be more user friendly if the page numbers were listed for the special orthopaedic tests in the charts… just saving the reader having to search. Overall, a great resource!
I loved the layout, I loved the in depth context that really explained what you'd want to know about treatment, why pathologies affect someone, and so much more. Really a great textbook.
