G-Force Federation #2

Dominic's Star

Rate this book
Renard isn’t the one for games, but the mouthy bear might be his ace…

Dominic has always dreamed of being a ranked officer. After not accomplishing his ambition, Dominic sets out to prove he’s worthy of promoting. Achieving his goal is the redemption he needs to rid himself of the negative stigma tied to his last name.

Renard is a cranky bastard. Renard’s choices were never his own, making him live up to that name. If he wasn’t born into G-Force, he wouldn’t risk his life for other creatures. Unfortunately for him, Renard’s happiness has always come second to the family’s legacy.

When Dominic’s stupidity lands him in hot water, it’s Renard’s duty to get him to safety. That’s if he doesn’t kill the jerk before delivering him to his planet. But the bear shifter’s allure draws Renard in, making him damn near irresistible. Renard must choose between to stay in his father’s good graces or a possible future with Dominic.

Will time run out before they get the chance to mate?

Luck is not on their side.

Dominic’s Star includes kidnapping, light violence, some space fights, and two MC’s that are born enemies. It’s part of the multi-author G-Force Federation MPREG, sci-fi series. Each book in the series can be read in any order. Join the G-Force Federation gargoyle warriors as they embark on their mission to protect and serve the Federation and possibly find their fated mates.

This fascinating book is action packed and hooked me in from the very beginning. They're supposed to be enemies but fate has a different plan for Renard, a gargoyle shifter and Dominic, a bear shifter. When confronted with Dominic in a cage and being abused, Renard had to make a choice. It was a choice that changed both their lives for the better. I enjoyed watching their relationship grow as they realize they don't have to be enemies. They can be together and have the family they want despite what others might have to say about it.
I recommend this book and look forward to the next book in the G-Force Federation series.

Two men who come from different worlds that are thrown together and must fight to survive find more than they ever imagined with each other. Dominic has made some bad choices that have led him to where he is now and when Renard comes into the picture his choices will change everything.

Dominic and Renard’s story pulled me in right from the start. I enjoyed the personalities of these two. As enemies the two fight their attraction but soon it cannot be denied, and they must decide on what is important to them not others. It was nice to watch the relationship build between the two as they fight for what they want. There is more than a few things going on while the two men find their way making this an engaging read.

Just The Right Story For A Smoldering Good Time...
by and1515

Dominic's recklessness puts himself into more trouble than he can handle,
he's been held captive by a weird mutant lizard. Renard had to escape from the
day to day grind of his life so he took off on impromptu vacation and now he's
about to make a seen in the biggest way possible.
The instant attraction between Renard and Dominic is intense and combustible.
It's funny how fate can throw things at you that you least expect so can two beings
how have been told their whole lives their enemies be more.

This was such a fun sci-fi book. I loved the characters and at first neither of them was the type to commit which made their relationship even more meaningful for me. There was a lot of struggling for these two characters which made the payoff even better since I felt they earned their happily ever after. There were so many emotions in this story and I loved the characters. I want even more of these characters and this world. I loved the birth scene there were all the feels and it made me so happy. This was such a great sci-fi and I loved it so much. This is an amazing book to read.

Ok wow. You just blown my mind. Two souls who didn't believe in commitment have found their happiness. It was amazing to learn so many things about gargoyles and I simply loved the way you approached their relationship. I really loved the action and characters development and the way they had to fight to achieve it. The birthing scene was packed with emotion and bewilderment. Thank you for the captivating story and I can't wait to see what will happen next in the series.

This is the 2nd book in the G-Force Federation and boy does it bring some wonderful thrills. We have not quiet enemies now being thrust into something new. Bear shifter that does not trust anyone after being held a prisoner. There seems to always be something pushing these two together. if you love reading about shifters then you will love this book with a twist of sci fi mix into the story. Highly recommend today!!!

Gocarian bears hate G-Force gargoyles & vice versa. Is this a match made in the heavens or what!

Welcome back to the world of G- Force, where the gargoyles are protectors, like them or not. This chapter has it all: enemies to lovers, family angst, courage, steamy sex, and wondrous worlds. Ooh, and an unexpected pregnancy & a baby. What's not to love!
When Dominic's promotion falls through, he sets out to prove himself the better bear. Getting captured & caged to be used as sex slave wasn't his plan. And he hates the stonefaced gargoyles, even when one saves him. Renard is G- Force. His fathers before him were G- Force. He hates the Gocarian Bears. But when he sees one caged and abused, he cannot help himself, he rescues the bear, leaving havoc in his wake. Now the two of them are on the run. As they get to know each other, Renard & Dominic must accept the attraction between them. It is too intense to ignore. When it's the gargoyle that ends up pregnant, Dominic will risk everything so they can be together. Renard must face his father, & call on friends to help bring Dominic to him.
The road to HEA is a bumpy one. There is danger at every turn. Join Dominic & Renard add they face bounty hunters, vengeful aliens, overcome stigmas, enjoy a peaceful planet, and fight for a love that even the universe can't destroy. You will love this book!
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.

Terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad sci-fi

While I liked Renard and Dominic, I just couldn't get past the horrible sci-fi in this book. The G-Force Federation supposedly dominates the galaxy, at the very least, and yet this entire story is set around taking weeks to travel within a single solar system. Granted, that solar system is introduced as the "main star of the universe" so perhaps it's so big that moving around it does take a lot. And there are planets around this star that are completely unmapped by the Federation.

Somehow, traveling between two planets, you can stay in the shadow of a single moon. There were several times where Dominic put the ship in danger because it couldn't handle the extra weight of his bear WHILE IN SPACE. And I found it absolutely ridiculous that these people remember idioms from the 'Old World' yet had forgotten clunky terms like 'day' and 'night' for 'sun light' and 'moon light'- as in, it took the course of several moon lights to accomplish a task.

Basically, the stars in this review are for the characters, I pretty much hated the setting.

Not sure how this one ended up on the TBR since I haven't read the first book. Edit: Multi-author series. That explains it. It was alright. The pregnancy was a bit creepy. The father was a pain up until the end when he mellowed out. Started off pretty brutal with the kidnapping. Add in whatever that mini scuffle was and it's a surprise these two got a HEA.

A great idea for a story that was nearly ruined by terrible editing. There were so many typos, continuity mistakes, and grammar issues that this story was nearly unreadable. The main plot elements were interesting and could have made this a wonderful story. Very disappointed in this one.
