A nice sequel to OUTPUT that teaches productivity, it also gives out some insights on reading, listening to music/lectures and how to maximise the use of Internet. Compare with the OUTPUT book, the tips maybe a bit common here, though I agree the idea of emphasizing the quality of input rather than the quantity, and producing output would be the most effective way to enhance our memories on learning. Suggest to read the INPUT and OUTPUT book together.
Nice little sequel to his previous work called Output. Some good insights on how to maximise input and what (not) to include in daily lives. Just that sometimes he sounds a bit boastful.
This book taught me a lot of useful skills to better ‘input’ information into me, and it gave me a new perspective and understanding of learning. When there are too many information on the online world, it is getting harder and harder to try and put your effort into something. This book is really good at helping me maximise learning, and was oddly easy-to-read as a novel lover. Each of the small chapters have little doodles that makes this book even easier to understand. The techniques in every small chapter are also impressively useful. For example, in some parts of the book, they emphasise about ‘quality over quantity’ in books. We all know about many major tips of learning, but this book gives a really nice explanation and evidence on why and how these tips work, and how to perfectly execute them. Of course, this book is not too pushy on you, it doesn’t force you to become a extreme perfectionist. I totally recommend this book to anyone!!!
ส่วนตัวเราว่าเล่มนี้สนุกกว่า out put แต่ทั้ง out put และ in put เหมือนกันคือ อ่านง่าย เข้าใจ เอาไปใช้ได้เลย ดีงามจริงๆ
There is a LOT of advice in here. Some good, some not so good, but a lot of it is stuff that you're not taught in school (especially Japanese schools), so I appreciate the author putting it all together.
A lot of the advice was about different ways you can learn new things. I liked that the author gave a lot of advice for busy people, or people who can't afford further education, or how it's important to have fun and relax too.
I worry some people might take away a toxic productivity mindset after reading this, but fingers crossed most people are smart enough uto pick and choose what works for them and not take everything in this book as gospel.
