It was never a question of love. I knew I loved Elias Lancaster and that he loved me. At least I always thought he did. But for some reason, he always found an excuse not to be with me. The pain I felt as my childhood love rejected me, again and again, after promising me the world when we were kids… Well, it just wouldn’t go away. No matter how hard I tried. Desperate times called for desperate measures, and I never wanted to be considered desperate, but I knew if something didn’t change soon, I’d lose Elias for good and die of a broken heart. No one told me how many times my heart could break in the process.

-She makes me feel too much. Always.
Exposed (Kingdoms of Sin, Book 2) by Willow Aster was a captivating royal romance full of angst, explosive chemistry, and love. I really enjoyed seeing a different side of Mara, and loved this couple together. I adore this series, and can’t wait for more books!
I was worried I wouldn’t care for this… and I was right. If you read my reviews, you know I LOVE my evil OW, but I like her to stay firmly in the villainess category. In other words, Jac is not down with the evil OW getting her redemption book and a trip down HEA Lane. This is because 95% of the time the author can’t pull it off… because these chicks are horrible, and IMO a sad story doesn’t offset being a bitch.
Mara and Elias were introduced last book. We didn’t get much from him, but oh boy we got a lot from Mara…and none of it was pretty. In case you skipped that one, Mara was NASTY. She hated Eden on sight and took every opportunity to make her feel like shit, and she put down anyone she deemed lower status than her. She also was a spoiled party girl that acted out by getting drunk and sleeping around.
The problem with Mara’s redemption tour is that she’s still a bitch, and we’re not really offered anything to explain why she’s such a bitch. A small effort (short chapter) hints at a neglected childhood with her awful parents and a mean nanny, but this didn’t really work for me because she was blindly dedicated to said awful parents (including siding with them over her brother and uncle that actually loved her) for the majority of the book. If that’s not enough, she also acts likes she’s 12, plays games with the H, uses an OM she knows cares for her, and is a terrible person in general. She reminded me a lot of Nan from Rosemary Beach. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for a feisty h who pushes back to her H…but this is her with others.
Today is the day my brother Luka becomes king and that whiny, pansy wife of his will be crowned right alongside him.
Mara had come by and shown her fangs, claiming me and making Brienne shrink into the wall.
“I hate you,” I whisper. “I have officially lost all respect for you.”
“Don’t trip on that sword and die in your haste to get to the queen,” Mara calls.
I feel a slight pang of guilt that I’ve been so awful to him. Very slight. I almost feel bad for how I’ve been to Eden too… but not quite.
“Just tell me this. Do you have feelings for that?” “Don’t be cruel, Mara.”
“You lost your brain cells when you married the northerner.” “Easy. My wife is off-limits to your sharp mouth.”
Makes you just want to pull for her right??? 🙄
Elias for his part is no better. He’s a wussy, passive, gambler that is either feeling unworthy or coddling/making excuses for Mara’s awful behavior. Ugh-they both sucked.
Bottom Line- This one has better ratings than the first book because it's mostly safe, but it didn't work for me. I read for fun and will take drama over safety every time... I've spent YEARS in a boring healthy, stable, safe relationship, so life covers those feels for me. :) IMO, it feels like the negative reviews of the first book inspired the author to take a more cautious approach (like revising book one without all the cheating) and instead of just avoiding safety traps... she let go of all the OTT, dramatic, soapy-goodness. I don't need cheating, but I need excitement or passion and this was lacking both.
The mc’s were flat and one dimensional. (She’s mean and he’s boring AF) The majority of the plot is being stuck in their endless cycle of… her being nasty to everyone while thinking up immature ways she can manipulate him into being with her… and… him pushing her away while wallowing in despair because he’s not good enough. 🙄🙄 In a nutshell, uninspiring/unlikable characters with a stale plot left me struggling to finish. Originally, I thought Elias should get with Brienne, but honestly, she deserved better, so I’m hoping she hooks up with the chauffer. I also felt bad for Alex; she strung him along and used him to make Elias jealous when she knew he cared about her. I'd like to see both of them get a HEA, but I think I'm done with the series... at least for now.
This is Mara and Elias's story. I do recommend reading the first book before jumping into this one. Willow always writes a great story. There was steamy a.f. scenes. Scenes that made me mad. Scenes that made me smile. Scenes that made me tear up. And scenes that had me at the edge of my seat. Well done.
Ohhhhhh baby, this series. Hahahahahahaha. THESE CHARACTERS. This is Mara and Elias story! And you guys, these characters we just HATE to LOVE are something else. They drive me crazy but I just can't look away. This series... if you like juicy, drama filled, soap-opera type reads with lots of angsty back and forth, this series is 100% for you!
Exposed is the second book in the Kingdom of Sin series. While each book is about a different couple, this series will be best read and understood by reading them in order. There is an underlying plot that is being played out through the whole series and it's the only way to fully grasp how these characters are tangled altogether.
If you read my review for the first book, Downfall, then you know that I truly love the concept of this series, but struggle to connect with the characters. And it's the same thing with this series. We met Mara and Elias in the first book; Elias is the advisor to the King and Mara is the sister of Luka.
Mara is a very harsh and critical character for me, and I struggled to connect with her. Willow tries her best to explain why Mara has this hard shell, but I just never warmed up to her and for me, it never gave her true reason to be so hateful towards others. Elias was the only one that ever saw the nicer and sweeter side of Mara, what he saw as her true self. They grew up together and both moved on from friendship to more til one day things changed.
Elias grew up with Mara and Luka as his two best friends. He and Mara even became more until her father discovered what they were up to. Unbeknownst to Mara, Elias agreed to a deal with her father that set them on both of destruction for years to come.
These is a lot of conflicting emotions and a lot of drama that unfolds between Elias and Mara. And it's all because they truly forgot how to communicate openly with one another. Elias holds too many secrets from her and Mara has kept her walls up for so long, that while her love never waned, she refuses to give Elias the ability to crush her again.
There was so much that could have been avoided if they both acted more maturely (it did give me whiplash at times), but without the bickering and drama, this story wouldn't have been the same. My biggest gripe was their immature ways towards one another yet could act like adults when it came to their duties. But again, I think that was purposeful as it became almost habitual for them.
Overall, while I didn't care for Mara and Elias didn't wow me, I did enjoy this book a bit more than the first one. It'll be interesting to see what Willow brings us next.
I received an ARC of this book for my honest review. Exposed releases on January 9th and it is a standalone novel in the Kingdoms of Sin series.
So, I'm not going to lie. I was worried about this book, because I despised Mara in book one. I thought she was childish, annoying, and manipulative. I didn't know how Willow could make me love someone like that. Well, she did. She did it again. She has a way with words and stories that is inspiring. She can make a flawed character come alive in the pages. She can make someone who seems so unlikable completely redeemable, and change your feelings about them so easily. She did it for me in book one, and she did it again in this book.
Mara was all the things I said above. She was childish, she was annoying, and she was definitely manipulative. It was a quick change for her, she made plenty of mistakes, she hurt a lot of people, but she did eventually see the errors in her ways, and I loved her by the end of the book. I understood why she acted the way she did, and I understood why she said and did some of the things that she did to people. She didn't have any role models to look up to, and she was constantly on the defense. It was the only way she knew how to survive. And while she did have a lot of flaws, you could never fault her for the way she loved, and man she loved fiercely. When she loved someone she would literally do anything and everything she could to make sure they were taken care of, you had to applaud her for that.
"But it's who we are. Moving on is impossible. We'll never be over."
While I did love Elias, he wasn't perfect either. I think that's what made me love this book so much. These characters were flawed, but they felt real because of their flaws. They acted in ways that any other person would act, given their circumstances. Elias did not think highly of himself, he was insecure, he wanted to be loved but didn't feel like he was worthy of anyone's love. Just like Mara, he didn't really have a role model to show him how to deal with his feelings. While he loved Mara more than anything in the world, he also didn't think he deserved her. He thought she deserved someone richer and more established than him, it was hard for him to understand that Mara didn't care about anything like that when it came to him.
I thought Willow was trying to kill me with all the sexual tension happening in this book. I felt like these two were never going to get their crap together and finally connect with each other. When it finally did happen, Willow didn't disappoint. This book was steamy. But not so steamy that it made me uncomfortable, it had just the perfect amount.
It's been a love tested by time, forged by fire, and found to be more perfect that the purest gold. A true love that will never die.
Overall, I'm giving this one 5 STARS. I loved book one, Downfall, but I actually think I loved this one even more. It feels like the books in this series get better every time. And I love that Willow can make you fall in love with any kind of character. I can't wait to see what comes next.
"I've never forgotten anything, Elias. You are ingrained in my heart and always have been."
I am going to go ahead and just start out this review with the fact that I 100% could not relate to Mara. There, I said it. She was very unlikable. But even though I didn't care for her, Willow did a superb job with writing her character the way that she did. She was an awful person. But damn, did that girl love hard. I loved that about her.
Aside from all of that, I think all of the tension in this one was my favorite. I thought Willow did me in during Downfall but come to find out the tension (sexual, emotional, etc) was so intense I could have screamed! I LOVED IT! So. Much. Tension. And when Willow finally does deliver to us... that girl DOES NOT disappoint.
I thought Exposed was an addictive read. A book that once I started, I had a really hard time putting down. A huge part of that was Willow's writing. I think she's found her true calling with this series. The setting, the people, the story-line. I think this is some of Willow's best work to date.
Exposed is one of the best guilty pleasure reads that I have read in a long, long time. It's not usually a book I would pick up, but my trust in Willow runs deep. I have enjoyed taking this exciting adventure from the get go.
Disclaimer: I would 100% recommend reading the first book. I know that it's advertised as a stand-alone but I think that reading Downfall will be very crucial in understand the setting, people, etc.
I have some mixed feelings about this book. I was not really a fan of the first book but really wanted to read Elias' book. And I am honestly not sure how I feel about it.
Mara has been in love with Elias since she first met him. She always knew that he was meant to be her, but regardless of how he feels he keeps pushing her away, only wanting to be friends. He will always be there for her but is not willing to cross that line. He has his reasons, but she is not willing to accept them. So the question is what will it take to make him see how much they belong together and how worth he is of her love?
Mara was a spoiled brat who I honestly did not care for. I wasn't a fan in the first book but was hoping that she would redeem herself. She was bratty, and always playing games to get what she wanted, which was Elias. So I just wasn't a fan. She can be vindictive and just a bitch who huffed when she didn't get in her way. Elias I liked but did not love him. I think too many times he pushed her away for the same reason. There was a push and pull between them. They were certainly intense but after a while it was like "enough is enough". Too repetitive for me.
I gave this one 3 stars because this is Willow Aster and regardless of the fact that I was not a fan of the main characters, the writing was very good and the story itself regarding the royal family I really enjoyed. I am honestly hoping that Jadon gets a book because he is the one character that I really enjoy, even if we only get a few glimpses of him.
Luka & Eden had to work for my love. Mara & Elias? I’m handing it over on a silver platter. They get all the love, because if someone needed love, it’s these two!
What an adventure I just went on! The push and pull between the two, the shifts in familial dynamic, the blazing chemistry(no matter if they were loving or fighting!) This couple forged their own path, the absolute hardest way possible, and I ate it up!
Elias. He had some issues. Some things he needed to make peace with in order to be the man he thought Mara deserved.
And Mara. This misguided girl, with a heart so big, buried under so much ice. All she wanted was to love and be loved, and no one would give this girl what she truly desired. Mara spoke to me on a surprising level, and I lived for every single layer she shed, and transformation she went through. She is an incredibly dynamic character, one that I won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
Recommendation: fall back into this kingdom, the truth is still out there...
Mara's heart has always belonged to Elias. Only he saw through her willful behavior to the real inside her. They've been friends forever and that whole time she's wanted him to love her as more than a friend. Why does he keep putting her off?
She doesn't realize that he's as obsessed with her as she is with him. But there are so many obstacles to their being together. Obstacles that just may be insurmountable. And with her brother taking over as King, and acting strangely, there really is no way for them to be together. Is there?
Well, yes, there is if Mara has her way. And she's more than determined that she will have her way. Look out world because a determined Mara is one to watch out for!
I really liked Exposed. I did get the feeling that I may have been missing something, since it was obvious that book 1 had a lot of impact on this story, but for the most part I understood (and enjoyed) Mara and Elias' love story. It's sexy and suspenseful and the way they managed to climb over everything that stood in their way was exciting reading. Now I'm looking forward to Ava's story, Ruin.
ARC via Wildfire Marketing Solutions for an honest review.
I was so excited to receive this ARC. When I finished reading book 1, I wanted more and mostly I wanted to know about Mara. Her actions and the way she was intrigued me. How she was acting was not a way someone would be acting, toward her brother or family. Getting her point of view was exactly what I wanted. Willow did an amazing job getting us in Mara’s head and making us understand her. I fell in love with her and felt bad for what she was going through.
Mara has loved Elias from the first moment they met as children and her love grew with every interaction they had. She knew he loved her even though he wouldn’t show it. She just had to make him realize it and believe that they would work out. That he was it for her. He broke her heart over and over but she was still there right by his side.
Elias has his own personal problems he was going through, which made him push Mara away even more. He felt he wasn’t enough for her, she deserved better. She’s a princess for godsake and he was her friend and worked for her brother. But the heart wants what the heart wants and it wants Mara. Can she make him understand that they were made for each other? That there is no one else that can make them feel the way they make each other feel?
I will say it over and over again, Willow is amazing! Her writing is amazing! The way she makes you feel everything these characters are feeling is magic! And to write a book with both main character’s point of view, unbelievable. Aaaaand I’m so happy we got glimpses of the characters we were introduced to from book 1. I can’t wait for the next book. These books get better as they go. I give it a 5 stars and highly recommend.
I received this ARC for my honest review and opinion.
Woah, so I knew I would like this book. I loved book one. The author's magic with words pulled me in so I was eager to start book two and see what else she had up her sleeve and I was not disappointed.
Without giving much away, Exposed is book two in the Kingdoms of Sin series and can be read as a standalone, however, to get a better feel for the book, I highly recommend book one first. You won't be disappointed.
This is Elias and Mara's love story... When I was first introduced to Mara, she was a nasty woman, she was a total bitch if I am honest... and that is putting it lightly. She did some questionable things and there were times I wanted to punch her in the face but in Exposed you see more of a different side to her I found I really liked that side.
Elias is nowhere near perfect either. He was insecure and he had his flaws just as much Mara did and I kind of love that about him. It made him more of a real person in a fiction story and I love it when I can relate to characters or I can feel that these character traits are relatable to others and I found that strongly with Elias...
Their love story isn't an easy one and it takes work. They've been friends forever, they were childhood friends and now turned lovers, and this is one of my favorite tropes and this beauty ticked all the right boxes. I loved this. It was written flawlessly and flowed easily and I couldn't help but get lost in the plot and it had me going through a bunch of emotions... I couldn't put it down!
I have no idea how Willow managed to make me fall in love with a character I thought I hated, but that’s exactly what she did with this book. When I read Downfall, I thought Mara was vile. She acted in such a despicable manner, I had pretty much written her off as unredeemable. It turns out I was so wrong! She is such a layered character and when bits and pieces of her back story were revealed, her behavior made so much more sense. It wasn’t excusable, but she’s a character that was meant for growth and I truly loved watching that unfold on the pages of this book. Elias was so multi-faceted as well and the two of them made me want to scream at times, but I loved the intensity and the history between them.
This world that Willow Aster has created is so much fun. I love the concept of different kingdoms & monarchies, but with all of the modern conveniences we’re all accustomed to. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series!
* ARC generously provided by author in exchange for an honest review.
This is book two of the series and to have a better understanding of the story I recommend reading Downfall first. Mara is a character that I truly disliked her actions really didn't make her a likeable person. However I had a complete reversal with her story and as we got to know her I was on her side. I was willing someone to look at why she was acting out and be fully on her side. I love when an author manages to turn my expectations around and Willow did it with ease. Elias has always been her one no matter how much they hurt each other. He certainly wasn't perfect to be truthful at times I wanted to give him a slap but I still loved him. The drama and intrigue following the royal family continues with twists and turns I never expected. They say you can't choose your family and that is so true of this famiy they truly are a nest of vipers. I struggled slightly with the first book as I didn't connect with the characters but I really enjoyed this one.
Exposed was an addicting read. I couldn’t put it down for long. It can be read as a stand-alone. I absolutely loved the heroine. She knew what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to say. She showed some real growth through the book. The hero was okish. He was caught up on not deserving the heroine. Honestly, at the end of the book, he didn’t really deserve her. I don’t think he was inherently a bad person. He spiraled. We never see the growth of him redeeming himself from it. That bugged me a little. Overall, I enjoyed this book a lot more than the first and look forward to what is to come.
Endless love, that’s what you’ll get with this beautiful heartbreaking read. I’m totally loving this series and how they are written. This is Mara and Elias story, it’s a story of true never ending love. Two people who have loved each other since childhood and continues through misunderstandings and heartbreak. I’ve so enjoyed this and can not wait for more of this series from this fabulous author. Great story, wonderful characters and fantastic writing.
This was a rough read. I really had a hard time liking Mara for a long time. I get that everything that went down with her father was rough. However, her attitude was horrible. I also didn't like how much pettiness there was between Elias and her. Thankfully in the end everything worked out but honestly the only thing that saved this was learning more about the treachery with the parents.
Elias & Mara had an intriguing & frustrating read. This was a newer author for me. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
*** 3.5 Stars *** Readers once again find themselves in the Kingdom of Niaps in EXPOSED by Willow Aster. Princess Mara Catano is having an even harder time adjusting to the changes in the kingdom since her younger brother married and became king after her father was arrested for murder. Her mother has been banished from the palace, her father is awaiting trial, her new sister in law has taken her brother’s affection, and the kingdom has changed in a blink of an eye. The worst is the man she has loved since childhood no longer wants anything to do with her and has eyes for another. What is a spoiled princess to do but act out to get attention, make headlines for her bad behavior, and turn on her trusted brother due to her parents manipulation. Never a dull moment ins Niaps.
Mara has been in love with Elias since she was a young, neglected princess desperate for love and attention. She valued their friendship and fell deeply in love with the boy from her youth. It didn’t matter that he wasn’t royalty and filthy rich, he loved her for being Mara not Princess Mara. Now Elias is her brother’s advisor and has his own issues in life. He’s hiding things from both her and her brother.
Spiteful actions, immature decisions, and malicious intent keep them apart until they both finally see the truth. The lives are being manipulated. They are pawns in a wicked game of deceit and loyalty. Will they finally grow up, take control of their lives, and dictate their own destiny? Are they strong enough to weather the storm or will they blow away in the wicked windstorm created by the former king?
Although I liked the premise of this story and the theme of the series, I feel like the story that propels this cast of characters is falling apart. The characters are hard to embrace and hard to believe. Their selfish actions and repetitive manipulations overtake the goodness the author wanted readers to embrace. I feel like there was not enough explanation of the political motivations to validate this world. I think this series could go much further with a bit more attention to details, a better development of characters, stronger world building passages, and a more mature plot line.
I am still very invested in this series and look forward to reading more. I think I had a hard time connecting with Mara and Elias. I loved the first book and hope the next will have that kind of vibe.
Overall I am glad I continued reading Exposed because I got to see the other side of a very mean, spoiled princess. I got to see Princess Mara evolve into a better woman rather than a spoiled royal brat.
Exposed by Willow Aster will make you fall in love and hate with Mara and Elias. A royal story set in background of conspiracies, manipulations and deceptions, Exposed is a whirlpool of intense emotions. The characters are beautifully broken. Their feelings are raw, gritty and incredibly terrifying. The story sucked me in and left its permanent mark on my heart.
I met Mara in the first story of this series, Downfall and I absolutely hated her. She was bitter and full of conniving lies. I was really intrigued to read how the author will redeem her. And what an amazing deconstruction of Mara. She has layers after layers. She has been brought up in an almost abusive environment. She is the scandalous princess who lives for the wrong kind of attention. Imprisonment of her father and the role of her brother aka the king of Niaps, Luka has broken her down. And her lighthouse in every storm, her childhood love, her only love and King's advisor Elias is pushing her and breaking her heart over and over again. My heart is aching so much for this misunderstood woman. She is being targeted from every direction and she is almost alone. She is hurt, angry, ashamed, jealous of Elias' companions, pressured by her parents and torn between her choices. She is incredibly strong and stood up for herself at the end.
Elias is one of those broken and tortured souls who makes you wanting to heal his scars. He has deep feelings for Mara. But his life is a mess, drowning in debts and darkened by violence. He does not feel worthy of Mara. The author brought each of his dark, angsty, heartbreaking and cruel emotions to life expertly. The chemistry between Mara and Elias is epic. They have this soul deep, never ending and life changing love. But they always have circumstances standing between them. They are the epitome of star crossed lovers. They hurt each other like they cannot live without the pain. The fire of passion burns them brightly. The plot is full of twists and turns. And my heart dropped to my stomach way too many times.
Exposed by Willow Aster is an intense story of two flawed yet perfect souls. The heartbreaking emotions ripped my heart out. An epic and unforgettable story!
So we are back to a the Game of Thrones esque modern society I admit I was excited for this. I do think reading book one will helo understand what happens here. While I liked Elias very unsure about Mara. I have to say just like Luka previously I did not like his sister Mara in the start. Granted she has a reason to feel ignored and all that. She got left behind a lot as a child and passed over for the throne. She's pretty much a brat and then some after all that. She plays her games to win over her long time crush Elias. Despite him sometimes being hot and cold.
For some reason I felt like I wasn't as inclined to keep on going like Downfall with an annoying heroine. But for curiosity sake. Par for the course of this series is full down drama and crazy before it somewhat settles down. I know Mara is the heroine but I couldn't really root for her. Mara shows her spitefulness and games, Elias with the hot and cold feels elusive. I think though Mara is lost and confused her obsessive attachment to Elias adds to that. They got a style of toxic thing going on.
Elias and his uncertainty and feeling of unworthy makes it even more messy. Plus his own personal issues I get frustrated with them both. They have a lot of history together that was changed by circumstances. I liked the whole unknown danger part and not being complacent in the whole everrthing is fine parts. Though I wish Mara would do something instead of making things worse or hiding from the truth. I get that she feels a lot and has sensitive heart and tries to mean well but comes out bad.
Honestly these two need to get it over whatever crap and get it together already, in a way this felt like a teen drama. They need to find a way to make it right if they truly did love the other. They do have some good scenes that made it worth the drama. While I liked scenes with other characters mentioned more than the interactions of the mains. I had to keep turning the page to see what happens though. I'm curious at the hints for the next book and who's it'll be.
Well I will be darned. This book surprised me. I started it and was not a fan of the characters we were with on this journey. They were driving me mad and I wanted nothing to do with them in the first book nor the second. Then I read this book.
This is Mara and Elias's story. This is the story you didn't know you needed.
I love a book hat can take my perception of characters and turn is on its end. I love that it really changed my opinion little by little. I may have almost combusted while reading it though because fret not, the steam level is scalding in this book.
Willow took a set of flawed and broken characters and made you see through the facade that they show the world. For Mara it was a mask she wore to protect herself. For Elias though, for him is was his entire life that he was withholding and it broke your heart.
This was an amazing read. A lot comes to light from the events of the first book and you get too ee all the favorites in a different way. I cannot WAIT for the next read.
An exceptional friends to lovers, second chance love story, filled with so much push and pull and explosive chemistry! Exposed by Willow Aster surprised me in the best ways! I have to say I was skeptical on my feelings starting this book because Mara had me so nervous. After reading Downfall, (which I loved) I couldn't hep but not like her, because she was basically awful to the previous mc. I spent the first half of this book trying to understand her, and watching her character grow, and came to love her just as much as I had hoped. If you read Downfall and are skeptical about Exposed for the same reason - don't be. Author Willow Aster's exceptional writing and character building can make you love and understand a character you had reason not to.
Mara and Elias will have you ready to throw your kindle, yet leave you begging for more. Their deep connection and undeniable love and chemistry was incredible, and made for a sensational read! Get ready for a roller coaster of emotions, suspense, intrigue, and so much heat!
I've been waiting for this book right after reading DOWNFALL. This is book two of the Kingdoms of Sin series, and even if it can be read as a standalone I'd recommend reading the first book to get to know the situation and the characters because they are recurring.
This is a childhood-friends to lovers to enemies to lovers story... It was as angsty as the first book but the continuous push and pull of Elias and Mara frustrated me. It was cute the first couple of times but I felt like it had too much of it... at least for me it did.
The royals in this series are definitely a complicated bunch. Family turning against family... sacrificing your blood for power, wealth and ambition.
The pacing good, the characters were scandalous to say the least and even though there are parts that were frustrating I still got butterflies in tummy and swoon.
This book will make you realize that it's okay not to be perfect...that its okay to take risks and be vulnerable once in awhile to show your humanity...
