Venom is back! Eddie Brock and his alien symbiote return to torment Spider-Man - but Venom makes dangerous new enemies when he crosses the Sinister Six! As Eddie suffers a tragic loss and takes a turn for the worse, the symbiote begins to hunger - and target the innocents that Venom used to protect! Horror emerges in the Arctic as a conspiracy is revealed, and Venom clashes with Carnage in a psychotic family reunion! But when Eddie and the symbiote go their separate ways, who is more dangerous: the insidious new Venom, or the deranged Eddie Brock?

Better than volume 2, not as good as 1. Stuck in the middle, alot of meh. There is a backstory to Brock and when you find out how he got cancer and why he did what he did that worked real well, but the rest of the stories from Carnage trying to eat his offspring, to The Thing knock off, most of these stories aren't above decent. A 2.5 out of 5.
To me the highlight of this omnibus is the 18 part Daniel Way stories about a Venom that isn't the Venom we all know. Artwork from Ramos and Ramos copycats bring a different look to Venom.
