Travel through nearly three decades of poetry and prose as you delve into the mind of the author, roaming through the trails and trials of Bipolar Disorder via the written word.
Alison is a stay at home mom in Alberta, Canada to her two children who are rapidly approaching the young adult stage, much to her chagrin. Her ever-faithful writing companion is Sadie, a beautiful cat with the saddest eyes you’ll ever see. She enjoys teasing the cat, writing (of course), and hanging out with her kids. She began writing at a young age, starting with short stories, moving on to poetry, and eventually ending up participating in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and completing her first novel. Since then, she has produced several manuscripts of novel-length. When she grows up, Alison hopes to be an expert in the field of fairy security. Her advice for writers, young and old, is to be brave in their work and never give up.
