I follow Henry & Baloo’s adventures on Instagram. This book tells the story of their made pack family in beautiful photos. Henry is Baloo’s adopted daddy; Baloo is now half dog & half cat. Sadly Henry has been diagnosed with cancer. This will be rough for Baloo and their humans. But cats live longer than dogs.

This was fun, somewhat unbelievable that the cat would hike and stay with the family and that the dog tolerated and welcomed the cat hitching rides on him! The photos are beautiful, the text is upbeat. I’m not sure how the owners could get so lucky twice - pet adoptions can be tricky if the animals don’t adapt to the lifestyle of the family, and this is a somewhat extreme lifestyle. It bothered me to not see collars and tags on the animals, while bandannas, hats and other wardrobe changes were evident. I’m sure the pets are chipped, but still. A cute picture book for the family.

Wonderful reading, adorable pictures, brings so many smiles with every page I turned and evry story as I read through each adventure. Finding each family member or pack was exciting. Very sweet reading. I enjoyed this book ....a lot❣

I just lived the bond that henry and Baloo formed despite the myth that dogs hate cats. They formed a pack and their adventures brought them closer as family . Wish their story was longer but it was so cute and scenery si beautiful 😍❤️.

This book was so much fun! I have followed the author on Instagram and the pictures are beautiful, and so are the photos in this book. I enjoyed learning more about Henry and Baloo's adoption, and seeing the never before seen pictures was a treat. The scenery is just to die for. If you enjoy travel, hiking, nature, animals, etc. I recommend checking out this book!

Happy Trails

I really enjoyed traveling along with Henry, Baloo and their people partners exploring the beautiful wilderness areas and parks throughout America. The book is 95% beautiful and fun photography which is perfect for me because pictures have always been my favorite part of any book. I think everyone will enjoy this book both adult and child.

Awesome book with really impressive pics. Kudos to the author for giving such an experience and it never seemed like reading book but rather made me feel as if I was part of the story .
