Extremely- mixed feelings
I love Anique - she went through so much and became an alphia we could be proud of. In the earlier chapters she is dating Brett-who has a heart of gold and should’ve been her true mate. He was perfect for her. As the book goes on they make Anique weaker and weaker and more submissive to Knox.
While Knox is not as bad as some. He is a mysagonist a***. He gets slightly better, but he calls her worthless and thinks women should never leave the pack house and submit to his and all male wolves will. No mate should ever call they’re true love worthless and exile her from the city.
I hated Knox and struggled to finish the book because of him. He is not a progressive alpha - he is a brutal and mean person.
Spoilers:
She should’ve been with Brett- what happened to Brett was a forced cop out to get her with Knox.
I would’ve rather she ended up with someone who loved her...Knox is abusive and 99% of the men in this book are also abusive.
Nathan seems good, the doctor was good too and Brett was an Angel and perfect match, the rest I hated.
Author is a good write - I just don’t know why the author forced the Knox pairing. Brett was better in all ways.
