For a book titled "Introduction to...", it did not do a good job explaining concepts or using examples to drive home lessons. The book was either written in a different language and translated, was written by someone for whom English is not his/her first language, or by someone who had a very lazy editor.
I work best when I am given overarching concepts and then dive into them. The book uses minute details to skip around and hope the user can grasp the larger concepts within.
