Key tropes include: - Scent matches - Fated mates - Hurt/ comfort - Touch her and die - Enemies to lovers
Creepy non-consent, repeat paralyzing of the heroine to make her docile and dominate her perfectly normal will and frequent ignoring of explicit boundaries. Weird bad infantilization by heroes “Little One” endearment (barf), spanking as punishment, treating her like a child. No no no no no. DNFd this at the second time they paralyze her, and rape her - she tries to escape them and they use their mate bond to “forcibly seduce her” NO. I’m not there for that. Gross. Not sexy. And the alien dudes use stuffy faux fancy ye olde language. Stilted and unnatural. Very surface level characterization.
I waivered with my rating because this book isn't bad. It had many elements that I did like, but what I didn't just bugged me too much ・ ・ ・ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🕮⋆˚࿔✎𓂃 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The writing and editing of this novel was a little rough, with many typos in the ARC version of this manuscript. However, I still enjoyed this novel quite a bit despite that. The characterization was okay, with the heroine and three heroes being sympathetic, if not particularly vibrantly drawn. The tendency of the heroes to ignore the heroine's firmly stated boundaries and wishes was quite irritating for me, I will say. The development of the romantic relationship was okay, but writing reverse harem romances where you are reading a story with at least three romantic heroes means it is quite a large task for the author to write vibrant characterization and a natural and organic love connection. The plot and pacing was fairly good, with me turning pages pretty quickly to find out what was going to happen next. This story had low angst and high stakes, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel used the Chosen One trope and the Fated Mates trope. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship rated two stars. The Reptile aliens were very two-dimensional villains. The plot, pacing, and world building rated four stars. Therefore, the combined score for this novel was three stars. This novel had a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that is a big plus for this story. I recommend this novel to readers who enjoy reverse harem sci-fi romance novels and would like to check it out from Kindle Unlimited. I will not be buying a keeper copy of this novel.

It was OK. There were a lot of errors in grammar, syntax and spelling. Felt like an unedited draft. The story is alright, but in the end all the talk of dimensions and conquering and being able to touch/travel/I-don’t-know-what-else other dimensions because of reasons got me really confused. The concepts of feminism and femininity that permeate the story are weird, and sometimes contradictory. There wasn’t much worldbuilding, either. The chapters with the MMCs’ POVs were confusing, mostly because it’s written in third person, and they have a bond that allows them to know each other’s thoughts and feelings, so we’re in, let’s say, K’s POV (I forgot their names) and the text would say “he felt this” or “he knew that” and I thought it was K who felt/thought those things and turns out it was “R”, or “S”.
It is a very good book. I enjoyed reading it very much. Even though it's it own series. I'm gonna have to look into getting a hold of the previous series to fully understand what's going on with the reptiles from the prologue. Because I'm just anal about stuff like that. Hate reading a book out of order or in this case out of series order. But it does have everything I love in a book. Romance, adventure and mysteries. Plus more, but that's not here...sooo. anyhow. Riley doesn't understand where, when, and how she got into the predicament she is in now. She wishes she could just remember how. All she wants now is to get back home and get back to work. But that's easier said then done. First she needs to get away from these butt ugly reptiles and the weird Crystal's they're waving around. Not to mention the three weirdly handsome men with two horns and different skin colors are looking at her like she's their last meal. What's a lost woman to do?
This was a mosh pit of a book honestly. First off shes basically raped so FYI for people with triggers. Twice shes paralyzed with some medical equipment and the guys fondle and then have sex with her to "show her they care." The internal dialogue of said heroine was also just a cosmic disaster and I wanted to punch her in the face. For being such an independent badass I expected a lot more spunk, fight, and just, well, more. NOpe. She just caves to them and thinks that's okay. Don't get me wrong, I like alpha heroes, but this was just icky feeling.
Then we have the ending and the epilogue. The whole point was to find this crystal and yet that was like" oh yeah, we installed it - all good!" Like, okay? Glad that it took ten years. And speaking of ten years, the guys first mentioned they started this journey a year ago. So for the other 9 years, no one looked?
And the epilogue.. am I missing something? Was there a prequel to this, a spin-off series or something? They referenced other humans doing heroic stuff to save Earth's Universe like we should know who they are, but I haven't a clue what they were talking about. It was mentioned the heroine even knew one of these so-called heroes/protectors fo the universe, but as far as we were lead to believe the heroine has never encountered alien life? No idea what was happening there.
Also, why was one of the triplet guys green? I know that really it doesn't matter but it perplexed me. Oh and the spelling/words in this book. I'm not a person who really ever points this out because I get it- we're human and my spelling/word choice could use a lot of help. But this book was noticeably full of spelling issues and what I am assuming were autocorrect errors.
I didn't read as much lack of consent into the sex scenes as some did. First off, these guys are aliens who come from a culture where the woman usually recognizes her mates just as fast as the men do, dealing with a human woman who doesn't respond as they expect or understand. Second, the human woman is never afraid of them raping her. Sometimes the guys ask permission for this or that and she says 'yes;' other times she considers saying 'no' and clearly believes they would stop if she did, but she decides not to. She is annoyed and frustrated with the situation, but she doesn't see the men as rapists or what they do to her when she can't defend herself as rape.
I read the second book in this series first, which may have influenced me because it gave me a more neutral introduction to the whole Negari mating drive and might be a better way for some to approach the series. Personally, I couldn't keep the three guys straight in any of the books, but the heroine does and they're triplets who're somewhat mindmelded so I just go with the flow.
Also, I like the covers of these books in terms of the art, but trying to connect the cover characters to the book is an exercise in futility. I won't go into the guys, but in the book the heroine is described thusly: "Her mop of mid-brown hair flopped over her startled eyes, the color of his favorite dessert. Her hair was shaved on one side of her head, while a long lick of a fringe fell to her chin on the other side." Where the raven-haired beauty on the cover comes from I couldn't guess.
Riley Sharp is a trained Special Ops soldier kidnapped from Earth by reptile aliens. She is fighting against them and is injured. One of them grabs her arm and his claws make bleeding holes. She passes out and when she awakens, the reptiles are arguing and she uses their distraction to run.
Riley ends up in the middle of a sort of airfield with all kinds of creatures around her, and she sees a huge alien, followed by two others coming from a sleek, jet-like contraption -- the Ozar Triad (Rujali, Setzan and Klaej) who are trying to locate the stolen Ozar Crystal that is critical for the survival of their planet. But of equal significance to the Triad, they recognize that Riley is their fated mate! Although she is bleeding from her wounds, all she wants to do is get away from all of them. But she is grabbed yet again, her shoulder pierced by the claws and her neck held tightly as the muscled guys she had just seen raced toward her with weapons drawn. Seeing them cut through their enemies, she knew she would stand no chance against them, so she grabbed the knife she saw in the creature’s belt and cut off the hand holding her. She ran again as soon as she fell to the ground. The Triad must continue their search for the missing Crystal as well as find their mate and try to convince her that they are fated to belong with each other forever. Could they really convince her when all she wants is to find a way home from wherever this is?
I enjoy sci-fi books and am glad to see a strong female character who can take care of herself. Grab your copy and see if the guys find their crystal and their missing mate!
So I didn’t really love this story. I wanted to but there was a lot that happened that made it not that great. Forst and foremost I have no idea how to say any of their names so it would have been nice to have a breakdown because I said they’re names different every time. I thought some of the timing for the intimacy parts was just off and through the story out of wack for me. Like they nearly get killed and are still in a cave of enemies and that’s the moment they decided was a good time to be intimate. It was stupid to me. As well as she was severely injured the main time they were intimate and they had paralyzed her. I did find it interesting the author made it a point to say had Riley asked them to stop she knew they would have.
Also I agree with other reviewers on Riley just kind of being a little annoying. She kept trying to escape the only creatures who had so far protected her and do what? be stuck alone in the desert when you have no idea how to do anything on this planet. Also the amount of “I’m a soldier” internal monologue got annoying.
Finally the biggest thing for me was all the twists and turns of the final epilogue. Like I have no idea what was happening by the end. Riley’s from earth but another dimension. She repeatedly states she’s never seen aliens but suddenly at the end she knows a heroine from earth that was amazing at saving her universe from the aliens… Side note: I hate the term dark entrance. I might read the other books to see where this is going but maybe not.

The Ozar Triad: A Negari Sci-Fi Alien Abduction: Book 1/book 4 Reverse Harem By Charmaine Ross Kindle unlimited purchase Read the Hexonian Alien Abduction series first. That series is not a Reverse Harem but it gives you more insight into what is going on in this series. This is an MMFM book so if you don't like this kind of books you can skip this series and it will take NOTHING away from the Hexonian series. Their Crystal has been stolen and because of this, no new Triads have been found. This means no babies in years. The Ozar triplets are looking for the Crystal when they happen upon their mate, the one that will complete their triad. The only thing is she is not what they expected. In the Hexonian books, women have been abducted from earth by these reptiles and taken for God knows what. In this series, the reptiles have taken off with some of the women. Riley is a brave, strong woman and she is capable of taking care of herself. And when she meets up with the brothers she tells them that. But them that. But they just want to protect, love and cherish her. *Hexonian Alien Abduction: Book 1 - Jo’Aquin Book 2 - Striker Book 3 Alastor *Negari Reverse Harem Alien Abduction: Book 4 – The Ozar Triad Book 5 – The Arabis Triad Book 6 – The Erion Triad
I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. The Ozar Crystal has been taken and dooms a planet. Rujali, Setzan and Klae are the Ozar Triad. They have been searching for the stolen crystal, never knowing that they would find their mate. Riley is a human soldier that has found herself in a fight with some reptilian like aliens. She becomes injured but manages to escape right into three large horned aliens who seem to see no one but her. Riley has to find a way to run from them all. The Triad knows that their crystal is near but so is their unimaginable mate. Fate has blessed them if only they can retrieve and hold on to them both. Riley is a mess physically and emotionally but finds her strength to stay true to herself. But can she keep up with the changes between her mind and emotions. The Ozar Triad want nothing more than her, even if they need the Crystal. This story has some great characters and plot. We learn more about their world as the book goes on. It is a standalone, but book two will be out shortly and i am going to continue on with their world.

DNF - quit at 35% How disappointing. The writing is slow, awkward & super repetitive, saying the same things multiple times, sometimes within paragraphs of each other. The Triad is definitely weird (in a bad way), not really liking them, especially when they just do things to her (kissing her or sexually touching her) until she submits because they think they are calming her down (yea, WTF!), not going to lie, really creeped me out that it turned her on & she submitted. It just was too much over the top (I think it was supposed to be shock value), I just couldn't deal with their attitudes, it was like the total opposite of being a captive slave that's being abused in a bad way, whether it was meant in kindness, it felt creepy that they kept doing whatever they wanted to her, with no thought to what she wanted while keeping her numb/immobile. Not my cup of tea! Definitely won't read more from this series or this author.
At my age (60), life is way too short & my time is too important to force myself to read a book I'm not enjoying, especially when there are so many other books out there waiting to be read.
Riley didn't know what was happening, or even where she was, all she knew was some lizard men were attacking and she needed to fight them and escape. Even the arrival of three very large, very hunky aliens doesn't stop her for long. When searching for the Ozar Crystal the last thing Rujali, Klaej, and Setzan expected to find was their mate. Even more surprising is she was surrounded and fighting lizard men. When the see she is wounded they do everything they can to get to her, but then find she is gone. So now all they have to do is find her, the all important Crystal and convince her that they are her future. As the first book I have read by this author I have to say I will be waiting for what comes next, and have every intention of looking up and reading some of the other books already out. The first book in this series it can safely be read as a standalone with no cheating or cliffhangers, but a larger story is in play with questions left to be answered by the next quad. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review after receiving this book via booksprout.
I haven't read this author before and I have to say that I am not a fan of this book. Ler me start off first by saying I have read non-con stories before and liked them. This one contains what they call an analgesic wand which paralyzes the person when wounded in order to keep them from feeling pain and held immobile while still being able to speak. Which in itself is good but to use it in order to hold the person still for sex when they want to run and escape just didn't work for me. (Some people it may not bother) I liked the plot of searching for the crystal that their planet needs to survive. I like that Riley is strong enough to help the men with their battle. So that being said I am willing to read the next book.
Riley is abducted from earth by reptilian aliens she’s a special ops soldier so she fights back but because of her injuries she passes out, when Riley wakes up she runs then she see’s 3 aliens running towards her they are cutting down the reptiles so she runs again. The Ozar Triad Rujali, Setzan and Klaej are searching for the Ozar Crystal if they don’t find it then their planet is doomed but when they see their mate being handled by the reptiles they kill them but then she runs from them, how can they explain to this human female that she is their mate when she fights them all the way?. Fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Decent enough alien read. Riley, a human soldier, finds herself on some unknown planet around unknown aliens without a clue as to how she got there. She ends up fighting with reptilian aliens and is rescued by her 3 mates.
I like a good fated mate romance. The heroes were decently written and somewhat sympathetic characters. Riley was a kick-ass solider type who doesn't trust easily and hasn't had an easy time with men.
Good action scenes fighting the reptilian aliens and the worm alien which contributes to the overarching plot line around the three main groups on the Homeworld searching for their stolen crystals.
I'm not a big fan of non-consent and definitely not as punishment.
I get what the author was trying to do. But the whole of the book for me was laced with dubious consent. They essentially paralysed the heroine from the neck down and whenever she does something they don’t like kiss her or give her an orgasm. When she asks for something they ignore her as ‘it’s for her own good’. I did finish it but found myself skipping chunks of the book like this. I read all genres but this was purporting to be something it wasn’t. Had there been an acknowledgment to dubious consent I might have been more forgiving, as it was it just screamed Stockholm Syndrome for me
Book one in the A Negari Sci-Fi Alien Abduction Reverse Harem Romance series a well written story that kept me turning pages. Riley Sharp is a feisty, special ops soldier who is saved from Reptile aliens by Triad Rujali, Setzan and Klaej and she turns out to be their mate. There is suspense, drama, danger, villains, Ozar Crystal, demanding men and one strong woman who gets herself into trouble with them. I want to read the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a bit disappointing. Riley is supposed to be this independent soldier type but she makes really stupid decisions and keeps running from the guys who are clearly trying to help her. Other than some annoyance at Riley though, I found I just wasn't that interested in the plot. I skimmed some parts and basically only finished because I'm compulsive about finished every book I start. Bototm line, I wasn't impressed and I doubt I'll read anything more from this author.
I wanted to put this down 43% in. I felt like as soon as I thought I knew what was going on I was lost again. Instalove is not my favorite thing, and this book reminded me of that fact. One minute she's in full fight or flight mode the next she's acting like everything before never happened and her hormones have taken over. The men at first wouldn't listen, ended every argument with oral to stop her from disagreeing with whatever they're telling her, and we're shocked that she refused to be submissive. I've never been so glad for a book to end.
One of the best new well-written Alien Romance Reverse Harem. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. These characters are believably well-crafted and are likable. I love the story and the way they show their love for her. I bought the Hexonian Alien Romance Trilogy to catch up to what the bad Alliens had been doing and will buy the next two in the series

The Ozar Triad: A Negari Sci-Fi Alien Abduction Reverse Harem Romance by Charmaine Ross is an awesome story that I have read. This is book number one in this awesome start to a brand new series that I have loved reading and can not wait to read the next book. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about Sci-Fi and paranormal romance.

A great story with a feisty female lead character, plenty of action, sexy scenes, alien hotness and a lovely tie in at the end to book two. A great start to the series, love the author's writing style, the chemistry between the characters and the blend of sizzle and sweetness to the romance. Cannot wait for book two.

I loved the chemistry between Rujali, Setzan, Klaej, and Riley. Riley, a soldier, was abducted by reptilian aliens while in a battle. She was rescued by three aliens with horns after she was touched by a crystal. She couldn't trust them to be honorable with her. That was her previous experiences with men. They proved her wrong. Thank you Ms. Ross for another great story. Can't wait to read the next one.
I got this story, because it was a freebie, and I very rarely go for Alien romance books, but I was really surprised by the complex story line. I loved Riley for being a no nonsense soldier, and fighter. The reasoning behind the Triad, and forming a Quad, was a great plot to read about. I look forward to reading about the other crystals being found, and other Triads finding their mates. I loved this book.
The story was good. But I listened to it and it was read by an AI. Horrible sex scenes. Reminded me of when my babies were newborns and I was always up with them at night. So I never got good sleep and my husband wanted sex. I was so tired and exhausted it was like, just do it. I'll lay here. There was absolutely no emotion. I think I'll read the next ones. Wait. I know I will read the next ones.
I’m a fan of RH & I enjoyed this story. Good adventure, character development, backstory, & world building. A few grammatical errors that pulled me from the story, but not an overwhelming number of them. I love how the 3 brothers dote on Riley & show her love & care that she’s never known before. Riley is a very strong, independent woman. Great steam. Definitely 3.5 🌶️. I enjoyed this book so much that I’ve bought the next 2 in the series.
