Victoria writes about guys loving other guys in between dodging bullets, kidnappers, and serial killers. She enjoys putting them through hell to get their happy ever after—it’s a character flaw she embraces.
She also believes that family is who you choose, that dogs are often much wiser than human beings, and that we’re steadily destroying the world we live in.
And if people read more books, they'd be much happier.
I unashamedly admit to LOVING bundles. This has 7 books. I'd read the 1st 2017, but wasn't ever quite willing to continue reading even though my review was mostly positive. That changed in 2023 when I saw this bundle. It took me around a month to get through all 7; which gave me a nice break from reviewing.
I feel this is a 3.5 series; not a 3 nor a 4. How I settled on 4 is explained in the reviews for book 1 and 7.
This series is not for those who strongly dislike m/m/m+ and/or mpreg. I neither like nor dislike either; I'm rather ambivalent about those plot devices in my stories. These books lean heavily towards "brain candy", but a better quality brand like Godiva. I was in the mood for stories that wouldn't expect a lot out of me, so these worked well for me (especially at the end of summer time.)
The review I did in 2017 on the 1st is pasted below, followed by the one on the 7th book. ***** Solid 3.5 book rounded up especially in comparison to many others in the same genre. It was so much better than I expected. The storyline and the world created were very interesting. There were some definite issues, but none that seemed fatal for a majority of readers. Obviously if you aren't at least open to m/m/m/m, I wouldn't read it. If somewhat sensitive to violence you might be okay. If very sensitive, I'd stay away. It did get graphic in multiple places. It definitely hovered close to the TSTL (Too stupid to live), but didn't quite cross it for me. I felt there were things based on the characters past and abuse that made it more understandable. It was a nice start to a new series. Enough questions answered that I didn't feel cheated. Yet, enough loose ends to make me somewhat curious to see what happens next.*****
The review for the 7th and last book in the series is below. ***** This last book was solid but too many questions were left unanswered for my tastes. The future and purpose of the Supreme Alphas felt hazy. They are supposed to save human wolf relations, but then it's supposed to be the hybrids. Yet, we never really see this. We never completely learn what happened to the missing soldiers. We do get a statement of what Chris and Daniel could (will?) accomplish in the future. The ending felt rushed almost. Plus, who will reign after Orion now that Adam is human? What will happen when he and Jed die? How do all the babies fire into fate etc...? I could go on, but I won't. So the question remains, why 3 stars and not less? I struggled with that, but ultimately decided there was enough I could make educated guesses for the possible futures. Plus, there have been holes and issues all along the series. What ultimately matters is - Was I entertained? Did I stay mostly engaged? Yes. Sometimes even without the best or enough "ingredients" the "cake" still turns out okay for ones tastes. This was a guilty pleasure that just somehow worked for me. *****
Pick up through the first book but stopped about 15% of the way in the book 2. I was completely turned off by blaze who were supposed to be the gladiator of the group and instead was a mental wimp. Everything seem to scare him, and it made him into an incredibly annoying character. I found myself disliking all of the characters by the 15% point of the second book and gave up. I did read the overview of all seven books, and nothing about them seemed exciting. When I read that book to ended up having the main character kidnapped again I knew I was done. The writing itself is very good the plot is contrived, juvenile, and a cringe to read. I may try this author again but not for this series.
This will be short and sweet. What a way to read this series... all in one place! The narrative flows from one book to the next. The action is non- stop. The sex is so hot you will want your fan handy. There is betrayal, loyalty, bravery, compassion, hidden strengths, and power... both good & evil. The battle to save earth, the wolves & hybrids, and humanity, takes place both on earth and among the gods. I was pulled in from the first pages. I didn't want it to end. You will love this book. Get. It. Now. You will be glad you did. This book contains adult themes and language, mmmm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
I’ll be honest. I couldn’t even finish this book. In fact I didn’t even make it past the 7th chapter. The dialogue is awful. The way that the characters interact and talk to each other it’s just horrible. Aden in particular is naïve to his own culture and while some of that can be expected with the way he was raised and what happened to him it just doesn’t make much sense to me that he wouldn’t know some of the basics. And everybody’s “special” abilities don’t really make a whole lot of sense either if their whole purpose for existing is to “save mankind”.
This was one of the most beautifully written stories/series I have ever read! I cried along with every heartache and joy, defeat and triumph these amazing characters experienced and their extremely hard won HEAs. Even when those were promised each time they didn't seem possible...until they were. In my opinion that is what marks an incredibly talented author! While I will say that this series has had some very difficult subjects/scenes, it was so worth the read!
I recently had read only the first book in the series and planned to continue when the second came up in my tbr, however then I saw they had them bundled and jumped at the chance. This is such a fun, emotional, romantic series and I loved every book in the series. The characters were all unique and lovely, I loved the bits of action, humor, smut, and so much more. 😊
I like this author's more recent series that's in progress but just couldn't get into this one. I finished the first book; it was okay. Other reviews said the later books got better. They didn't. I skipped 200 pages without losing the storyline to finish the second book and then couldn't get into the third. This just isn't my cup of tea with all the gov involvement and people coming back to life, but it was worth a try.
Totally fantastic stories of werewolves and humans.
This is a fantastic story. I loved the characters from the beginning and really felt many emotions during all of their trials and tribulations. The story lines were fascinating and kept my attention throughout. I am so happy that I bought the entire series in one book as the stories run smoothly from one to the next. Reading was made easy by good spelling and grammar. This in turn made story compression easy too.
These are not the typical "appointed by a God" characters - they have lots of flaws and make lots of mistakes. They rely heavily on each other and other MC's to succeed - it's great that they are far from perfect but trying so hard to do figure it all out and do what's right. Very sexy, entertaining and I love that all the books were together in one.
It was an ok read. Sometimes even your favorite genre doesn't capture your fancy. This was a fairly low angst shifter/omegaverse/fantasy series-box set. mmmm setting. I just couldn't get into the story or characters.
This book has bad mashup of pantheon, with gods from different pantheon who are literally the same god as antagonists. Worse, it fetishisizes disability and whitewashed people from the Indian subcontinent
This series is amazing! There is nonstop action, heartbreaking moments, and tons of heat. This series often kept me on the edge of my seat from the unique characters and the many plot twists. I loved every moment.
Oh my heart!!! What an amazing series this was!!! Such a great story!! I was hooked from the start!!! I loved how the storyline was consistent with everything, right down to the villain!!!
I could not put this down. The world building was so real. The pain of the characters was felt and I cried in places. Such passion and live it leapt off the page. Highly recommend this book
I enjoyed this series just as much on the re-read then I did when I read it originally. I gave the overall series 4 stars since I liked some books better than others. There were definitely books in the series that I would rate higher. All in all, a wonderful series.
Seven books, utterly impossible to put down. This series combines three main love stories with struggles, initially between wolf packs, then including humans, and finally encompassing the gods too. The love between the mated werewolves and humans (various combinations) is fantastic and beautifully written. The ups and downs, some characters dying (bring tissues, I sobbed like a baby) and tiny babies with big abilities, all will take you on an emotional rollercoaster. Warning: do not read while emotionally fragile. The building complexity of the world is brilliant - though I’m not sure I liked any of the gods - and the politics and diplomacy difficulties were fascinating. Great characters, well-developed too - my favourite is still Marcus - and some you love to hate. I think I lost two days but it was worth it.
OMG!!! I could not put these books down!! Victoria Sue did such a Fantastic job!! I highly recommend book lovers this set! The highs and lows kept me on the edge of my seat. If you love wolves and humans living and loving together, these are for you. Victoria makes it all work.
