This is the story of Leia and Luke.
If you've read this author's Crystal Cove series then you are familiar with the Wade family. Luke Wade find's his happily-ever-after in this short intstalove novella.
Leia finds herself a contest winner which leads her to the Bachelor Mountain Resort, a playground for the elite. Leia is there to meet a famous skier. Luke happens to be there as well. He happens to be friends and also works for the celebrity skier that Leia is there to meet.
From the moment they meet, there is instant chemistry and sizzling attraction. This book is a quick, steamy read that gets right down to business. You won't have to worry about angst and there isn't much character development as this is a quick read.
I wished there was a bit more to this story as it was too short in my opinion. To be honest, I am not a huge fan of romance shorts with insta-sex. I prefer a more developed story, but that is just my opinion. I've noticed lately that some of my reading preferences have changed and I want more in my books. Still, this was a sweet story and if you are a fan of the instalove/lust trope, you will enjoy this one.

This is one of seven books in the Bachelor Mountain series. I loved that each book was written by a different author, giving it their own unique spin while still keeping the location and supporting details the same. I wish more authors would link up like this for a series!!! Flirt Club has got the right idea.
This book's only downfall with the character name choice. I am all for hot men named Luke and heroine's named Leia. But when you put them together it makes me feel like I am having Star Wars flashbacks. Other than that, the characters were well written and I found myself really relating to Leia. Good quick read in the Bachelor Mountain series. Leia is there more for a vacation than to meet someone but that changes when she trips and falls and Luke comes to her rescue. There were so good together. The chemistry and attraction between them was so good. Great read to help pass the afternoon. Loved the epilogue, it was so sweet.

Leia, a school teacher, wins a contest to meet a ski celebrity at Bachelor Mountain and ends out getting more out of the weekend than that. Luke is a sci-fi/computer nerd who falls instantly for Leia. This is a steamy short story and a great addition to the Bachelor Mountain short stories. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This book is part of the Bachelor Mountain series by The Flirt Club. Leia won the contest to meet Brent Carnegie, and she decides she wants to go and have some fun. Leia is very clumsy and has two left feet. When she was in the lobby of the hotel, she fell and her suitcase spilled, exposing her very embarrassing contents. Luke is a sci-fi nerd, but best friends with Brent and when he sees Leia in the lobby, he goes to help her. Luke is very attracted to Leia and when he realizes he still has something belonging to her, he decides to return it, hoping to spend more time with her. Leia is very attracted to Luke and decides to be bold and try to seduce him, and Luke knows he meet the woman for him. I really liked this book, i loved the chemistry between Luke and Leia. Leia acted out of character in being so bold with Luke, it showed how comfortable they were together. Well done.

I was given an advance readers copy of this book and have decided to write a voluntary honest review. This snow love story was so cute, it made laugh and smile. You never where you might meet the one. Luke seems like a great catch.

3.8 Leia and Luke give us a insta love romance. I felt this was a slow burn story which is a nice switch up but it was also a behind the scenes reality show style storyline in my option too. There’s moments where I felt more connected to the characters and wanted to continue reading and other times I was losing interest. Overall this was an enjoyable novella.

4.5 stars - The chemistry between Luke and Leia is instant and heat ramps up in no time. It is just... WOWZA! They go on a bit of a rollercoaster but what a ride it is! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

The mountain man and the pretty girl generate enough heat to melt all the snow on the mountain
I just loved the story of Leia and Luke in Hard Packed. This is part of the Bachelor Mountain series and finds Leia arriving at Bachelor Mountain Resort to be part of the "Meeting a Celebrity" show as she was chosen as a contestant. Leia Danvers is the quintessential good girl - she has always colored within the lines and the one time she tried to go a little wild she was chased off, which did save her from some teenage trauma. She works as a grade school teacher and lives in the same town she grew up in, Harmony Hollow. But her best friend Polly suggests that she enter Leia in the contest she goes along deciding that if she is chosen it will be a weekend for her to let her hair down and have some fun, just for herself. As Leia enters the lobby her ever present clumsiness decides to come out to play and she trips over her feet and goes down, while at the same time her luggage decides to pop open and all the contents explodes out.
Luke Wade is the best friend of Henri, a skiing superstar who he also works for as his marketing manager. He grew up in Crystal Cove with his three younger brothers and one younger sister. Their father had his demons so the family did not have a lot. Luke always dreamt of something more for his life, not knowing exactly what that is. But as soon as he was able to he left home with his brother Duke to find what it was. He met Henri and has been traveling around the world with him for years now playing his wingman to him. Henri and Luke are at Bachelor Mountain Resort to support their friend Brett Carnegie even though Luke does not want to be there as the reality show is just not his type of fun. That is until he looks across the lobby and sees his type of fun walk through the front doors, well really trip through them. He leaves Henri and Brett behind and quickly goes to be the lovely lady's savior.
Leia and Luke have an immediate connection that is strong and deep. When Leia looks up and sees Luke for the first time all she can say is "Holy sh!!. You're a beautiful mountain man and you're flirting with me." While all Luke can think is that she is the most beautiful creature he has ever seen. While the resort desk clerk just asks. "Do you two need a room?". Thus starts a weekend that will change both of their lives in the most profound ways.
I really loved the story of Leia an Luke. He is her sweet, nerdy, handsome and super sexy hero and she is his sweet, loving, good but dirty pretty girl. They bring out parts in each other that they did not really know were there which allows them to have a very interesting weekend and an even greater future together. They have a super hot and sexy chemistry that could melt all the snow off the mountain, and keeps them warm enough during their outdoor sports.
My only issue with this book is the number of proofreading errors that it contains. It could have used another read through prior to publication. Unfortunately it did mean that what was a 5 Star book instead is a 4 Star.

Leia's friend enters her in a contest and she wins. This is why she is at Bachelors Mountain so she can meet a famous skier. Luke is friends with the celebrity she's there to meet. The minute Luke sees Leia he knows she's it for him. Their first meeting is somewhat embarrassing for her because her personal things are falling out of her suitcase. But that doesn't matter to Luke because he just wants to talk to her. Leia tries to get out of her comfort zone and seduces Luke. Will they have more than a fling together? Can Luke convince her that his the man for her?
This is an amazing story that will draw you in from the first page and leave you wanting more with the last. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is a good new story in the "Bachelor Mountain" series written by one of the Flirt Club writers. It's a short story and a fairly quick read with passion and steam and a clumsy school teacher. This is Leia and Luke's fast paced story. I like these two and their fun flirty story. Both have been invited to the Bachelor Mountain Ski Resort for their big celebrity weekend with Brett Carnegie, the famous Olympic skier. He has been invited by his friend Brett and Henri. She has been signed up as one of the female guest of Brett. She completely intrigues him when she stumbles into the lobby with her things being vomited everywhere, including very personal item. They fall hard and fast!! A very sexy and fun story with pretty much instant attraction and loads of chemistry.

Brett Carnigie ran a contest but it appears that not all the women that put their name in are there to win his heart. Leia is one of those women. Leia is in it for the fun. She is a teacher which does not leave alot of room for let your hair down fun. She is also on the clumsy side and makes her own grand entrance when she arrives at the hotel check in. Luke comes to her rescue. There is instant attraction between them but assumptions are made which leaves our characters hesitant. A weekend under the same roof can change things. Can it lead to a HEA? Enjoy this great short story in the Bachelor Mountain series by the Flirt Club. Check out all these author's stories. Well worth the read.

This is a quick but great story! I love reading anything by Dee Ellis. I couldn't get enough of this story. I didn't want it to end. Leia is a school teacher who won a spot on Meet a Celebrity. She doesn't feel that she belongs there but then she meets Luke. He is different from any man that she has ever met. Luke is getting tired of his nomad life. He is intrigued by her. He is surprised to see how much they have in common and that they are from the same area. Will they make something more lasting work?

Dee always gives you what you need, short, cute novella's with insta-love that you can't help but binge.
Leia and Luke are just too cute together and it was great seeing his story come about. If you have read Dee's previous books, the Crystal Cove Series, you'll know all about the Wade clan, so it was a real treat to see him here.
There was just enough chemistry, drama and sexy times to keep you entertained and while it's amazing seeing an HEA, you still feel like you want more.

Love at first trip.
Leila won a contest to meet a ski celebrity that included the weekend away at a Resort. She really didn’t care about the ski dude, she was happy for a weekend away. And then she tripped in the doors, flung the contents of her luggage everywhere and met the man of her dreams. Although she didn’t really know this, yet! Hot, steamy, insta-love that will leave you looking for a snow bank to cool off in. Highly recommend this quick romantic getaway.

Leia is a stressed out school teacher who needs a weekend get away which she won as part of a meet a celebrity at Bachelor Mountain. She walks into the lobby when her suitcase explodes sending all her skimpy undies across the floor along with her little pink BOB. Luke steps up to help her and immediately wants to get to know much more about her and makes it his mission to do that. This is a short but so so hot story with that insta-love between Leia and Luke.

Book five of The Bachelor Mountain Series a well written short story that had me laughing as I read. Leia Danvers' best friend Polly signed her up for the Meet-the-Celebrity weekend, and when she gets there the first thing she does is trip and fall, Luke Wade comes to her aid. What a hot book was this. Leia and Luke made the pages melt. The nice teacher seems to be a very hot and demanding lover who just doesn’t get enough of it and Luke is very willing to help her with her greediness for sex.
They both find with each other what has been missing. Love on the mountains.
This was my first read of Dee Ellis but I will sure be looking out for more!!!

This book is HOT! It is short, quick, well written, well developed, witty, funny, engaging, steamy, and will leave you wanting more. The characters Leia and Luke you will enjoy getting to know and fall in love with from the first page; their chemistry is instant and off the charts. This Definitely recommended!

She is a teacher who doesnt do much for fun. He is a sci fi and computer nerd. they both go to this ski lodge and they meet there for the first time. They are so different but they dont let that stop them for caring for each other. It was a great book I loved it

Okay someone has a star wars obsession much. :) at least they weren't siblings in this book.
Luke and Leia (STILL WEIRD) find each other when they didn't even know they were looking. Luke let his friend get in his head and made some comments he shouldn't have and Leia had an emotional fit. But it all worked out in the end!

Oh, I loved Luke and Leia! The Star Wars references are just so cute and sweet and just so perfect. They’re sexy together and they just mesh so well. I didn’t put this down until I was done.
