There is always that one writer you find through Instagram and you become a huge fan of them. For me it was Ruby. When I read her writings for the first time, I was in love with her words and when I got a chance to read this book, I was so excited. And I wasn't wrong, this book became my favourite companion through the most difficult days of my life. A book is full of proses that will inspire you when you will be at your lowest.
If you love to read proses and want to read something very beautiful than this book is a must read for you

I fell in love with Ruby's writing after I read her first book " Memories Unwound." It really spoke to my soul. I felt the same way reading her next book "A Handful of Stars." But this book was difficult to finish because the writing just did not appeal to me. It is slow and the "passages" seem more like rants. It just feels like she wrote down her feelings on different days and compiled all the rough drafts into one book and published it. That's not what I was expecting. She writes about nothing but unrequited love and heartbreak. Someone this depressed and traumatized should seek professional help before publishing "advice" for the world. I bought her next two books "Dear Self" and "Between Us" at the same time I bought this book so I'll have to give them a try. Hoping they are better than this one.

“My past was a teacher. But it taught me so much more than just whom to trust and whom not to, for I know that those are not the biggest life lessons. The past showed me the importance of being true to myself and seeking to become a better person. I learned about my flaws and my fears, about my inconsistences, my shortcomings, the things that held me back and those that brought me down. I learned that I, too, am imperfect and can make mistakes”
One of the best books I’ve read this year I really enjoyed every chapter of it I highly recommend reading it

it helped with my healing

I loved that the book was easy to read and related to all most all of the feelings being felt in a breakup from being unworthy to not making someone love you and see your worth. The realness of acknowledging and accepting when someone don’t love you and loving yourself enough to walk away

" Wait and watch how the universe works its magic to give you everything that you’ve ever wished for and have faith that even if it has not happened yet – one day it will."

I treated this book like getting a tarot card reading session. I take what resonates and leave what's not. And I appreciate the book better. Most essays I can relate to, and it's comforting to know that somewhere someone put your feelings into a book. Some other pieces I don't agree with and that's okay. The writing style was easy to read. I enjoyed reading this book.

I feel like I already know some information written in this book but never knew how to frame them into a sentence or implement them in my life. I feel like Ruby decided to read my mind and write them down for me. She's used simple words and phrases that I recognize and formed beautiful sentences that give me meaning that I've been earning for. I don't think this book will ever bore me. This could be my bible that I seek when I'm happy, sad, confused, betrayed or fulfilled.

I genuinely enjoyed this book, and I loved how the author pulled us all into her mind and heart—showing us bits and pieces that made me realize how we’re all so similar in the way we absorb and feel but with different experiences. I also enjoyed how light the content was, heavy words, true, but the way they were written and the added empty pages made the book feel more like a journal and welcomed me to pour my thoughts too, have a conversation.

One of the most powerful books for healing and personal growth.
Unlike many books where only a few lines resonate, this one stands out — every single line carries meaning, impact, and wisdom. Each page offers something deeply relatable, guiding us to heal, grow, and gracefully let go of what’s not meant for us. It's not just a book — it’s a companion on the journey to self-discovery and inner peace.

Author has deep thoughts. Her words are inspiring, also touches on emotions that we can all relate too. It covers a variety of different themes; love, heartbreak, healing, relationships, grief, happiness and much more. The author did a terrific job in allowing the readers to go through a healing journey with the many pieces and to find hope in whatever they are going through.

My friend bought this book for me for my birthday, she was the one who introduced me to Ruby's writing on instagram and I was drawn immediately in. My Hope for Tomorrow really has helped me reflect and understand that what I was feeling was okay and it was enough to get me through the bad times of 2020.

I cannot express how good a book this was. It is relatable and highly emotional, providing clarity around a lot of sensitive subjects. It even has the odd harsh truth in there too, which I can appreciate. I would recommend this book in all honesty. The author did a brilliant job.

This is the kind of book you pick up when you're feeling down or you need some words of encouragement. My Hope For Tomorrow is a collection of prose, covering various topics, such as love, heartbreak, healing, relationships, grief, happiness, and more. Lovely, but at times a bit repetitive.

Exactly what I expected. From quotes to several paragraphs of self-help, some struck a chord, others were too much self-pity for my liking, but it helps in the healing process.

Insta poetry. Better than r.h.Sin but still not my thing.

I read this work because it was a very kind gift from a friend of mine, who really wanted to help me out through a rough time. I did find pages that I liked/agreed with, but overall this Insta poetry thing is not for me.

Maybe nowadays we have replaced the thing we used to call friend, an actual human being, you see!, (who would be saying these things to you, trying to help you out and bring you back to your normal, confident and healthy self) with different books full of passages written in the same way.

I just don't mix well with it.

Ruby thrives in the intimate; the delivery of words made to feel as though they are individually crafted for you. That is why reading My Hope For Tomorrow is as healing as sitting in a coffee shop with the world going on outside, and having a friend there to tell you everything is going to be okay. [...] Each poem seeks to aid you in your healing; it is one of those books you carry wherever you go so that when you’re down, you can reach in and find something to soothe you. There are words that ring true to universal feelings we can all connect to and reminders that are simple but often ignored. What do we do when someone leaves? How can we cope when our soulmate breaks our heart? Does fate exist? Am I destined for pain? All these questions are answered in an endearing and caring manner that puts you at ease even for a second.
