Could the blood of children be the new fountain of youth? An estranged brother seeks the help of his sister and her team when he discovers a doctor selling off children's blood. This discovery not only takes the team to an island in the Caribbean but a castle in Belgium with some surprising results. This is the 3rd book in the Yah-Struck series.
"How beautiful this place is. You’d never think that on an island very close to this one there is such evil that children are being snatched for sexual trafficking, sacrifices and now as perpetual blood donors." . The third book in the series (The Yah- Struck), Unbreakable talks about the woeful events dealing with child trafficking and abuse, an evil doctor with his greedy narcissistic behavior, and everything other thing that lead to subsequent revelation of even more dreadful incidents. . This is my first read from this book series. Being unaware of the story plot or theme of the previous two books, I skeptically chose this book knowing its trigger warnings. I must say the book was quite distressing for me to proceed. But anyway I continued, much because of the suspense that it had created. . The start was expectedly slow. The introduction of the few different characters all at once made me confused. But as I kept on moving throughout the chapters, they seemed a little less complicated, but more with the different scenarios of each of the individual characters' lives. The narration was tactfully handled along with the author's imagination of story building. However, at some point I felt it to be unnecessarily dragging and; could've been precise and focussed on detailing. The characters were many, yet their uniqueness made them outshine, be it the sinners or the virtuous ones. It will indeed be hard to forget them, esp the Dr. Saunders. For me it was an average read minus the dreadful contents. . P.s.- Pick this book only if you are ready to handle the disturbing incidents relating to children.

Blurb- Could the blood of children be the new fountain of youth? An estranged brother seeks the help of his sister and her team when he discovers a doctor selling off children's blood. My review- Unbreakable is the third book in the Yah stuck-series. I haven't read the first two parts but could understand the story easily. This book can be read as a standalone.
The pace of the story is good and the narration is done very well.
Another thing I liked about the book was the character sketch. All characters are penned beautifully, some instantly make you fall in love with them and some radiate sketchy Vibes which makes you doubt their intentions.
I like that suspense was maintained throughout the book which kept me weaker to read more. However, some scenes felt a little bit dragged.
The start of the book is little slow and one might lose interest however I'll suggest you to keep going.
The book covers the plot of child trafficking and it's amazing how the book is a great fusion of illusion along with reality.
Unbreakable is a disturbing and riveting entry into the world of child trafficking, evil, satanic rituals and sacrifices. Your heart will be sensitized to a great evil, that is Lucian who is trying to take back his power and open the dimensions to demons. On the other hand Tony along with teddy and other members, is trying to find his missing daughter bethany. To be honest in the start I couldn’t connect and I was losing interest but it started taking grip and it held it till the end. The narration of the story feels really authentic and convincing. The chapters in the book are very quick as they switch the point of view between different places and events going on. We get to know the innermost thoughts, feelings, worries and fears of the characters. Many excellent books have been written on the topic that address various aspects of child trafficking. However, Tina Helmuth skillfully weaves together today's shocking and grim realities on the subject.
This book is the third book of the Yah Struck series. This is my first book of Tina Helmuth. Though I haven't read other books of the series but I don't think it's connected to them anyway. I think It's a standalone. The characters are well explained so It's easy yo understand the characters well.
The story revolves around a doctor who is selling children's blood to achieve the youthness which is wrong. To get hold of the situation and fight with the ordeals Lucien left all his work. The characters Andy, Teddy, Gabe and Tony play the most important roles. While digging more to the situation they found some more evilish revelations which can destory the happiness.
I must say is quite interesting and difficult too but when you get used to the words It won't feel unrealistic. Yeah Some situations I felt are more dragged to create an illusional situation. Rather than that I really love the suspense, mystery keep me hooked till the last. A quick grab.
Pros: 1) I have read Tina Helmuth's works earlier and enjoyed her style of narration. The way the author has paced the book and narrated the ordeals and adventures made this an enjoyable read.
2) I enjoyed the character sketches of Gabe, Toby and Andy. Even when I read about Lucien, I could feel a chill run down my spine. The pure evil thoughts and actions were described well and realistically.
Cons: I felt that certain parts of the text could have been edited properly to make it more crisp, especially their stint in the islands of Caribbean.
🌟Overall, I enjoyed reading this book however I felt the 1st two books were more gripping.
