The sex was hot, the writing was good, and the stories were entertaining. I didn't read the first one yet, but I will probably read it later on as I liked the other two. I will also definitely be checking out more of this author's works.

The Virgin and the Beast
The Virgin and the Beast was a very interesting read. I personally wasn’t a fan of the way Xavier treated Mel in the beginning, especially when he referred to her as pet. Sometimes I was extremely confused about his intentions with her over time, I get why she was there. Although the dynamic of their relationship began to change it seemed the feelings were one sided. Overall the story was pretty good.

Dylan and Miranda are some kinky people my goodness. Their first interaction was not only intense but their intimacy. Dylan had been through a great deal of trauma, therefore, my heart strings were pulled. Miranda pulled my heartstrings as well I mean what woman wouldn’t empathize with another, in regards to having a broken heart and experiencing a toxic relationship. The relationship moved quickly of course despite them not knowing one another. I mean most HEAs happen that way, it's expected. What wasn’t expected was all that came with Dylan’s family that was some disturbing stuff.

Just from reading the title of this book, I’m like someone’s about to sleep with their stepfather. After reading the first few pages where Sarah describes her soon to be stepfather my suspicions were confirmed. Ultimately I’d been right about Sarah although I wasn't quite prepared for the plot twist. In the end of course there was some semblance of a HEA, but I can’t help but to think Sarah’s trauma was too great. Labeling their ending as a HEA seems wrong, it's more a deserved love.
My overall review on the stories in this box set is that all men had been broken by their fathers. Torn down by them in some disturbingly wicked way that followed them into adulthood. In turn the women that later love them, suffered and became metaphorical punching bags. The things that each man had been through with their fathers led to unethical sexual desires. Despite this, I will say that each man had a good heart, yet broken spirits. The things in this box set is not for the faint of heart, if you’re easily triggered I wouldn’t recommend it. It's a dark romance after all and it follows through on the dark. It was an interesting read and the author is a great writer, but only read if you can handle it.

This is a fantastic anthology and each book was awesome although some of the books do get dark and a little twisted and may not be right for all readers. So proceed with caution.
After being fired from her job due to her father’s ponzie scheme Melanie is lost but when a mysterious man offers to help her free her father she had little choice but to agree. On a secluded island she meets Xavier a troubled and scarred soul she agrees to give him a child but things change quickly between them and soon she’s wondering if the deal was worth the risk?
Dylan Lennox is immediately taken by the sight of Miranda and when he sees her leave he follows her only to see her being attacked. Jumping into help he soon discovers his mistake when he finds out the event was planned. It leads to a steam filled night exploring sexual fantasies but when the night is over are they?
Sarah is used to her mother’s flaws and one is her penchant for marriage but this time she feels differently with her soon to be stepfather and stepbrother, it’s all she ever wanted a family but there is so much more going on behind the scenes will she get the family she wanted?

okay this book was pure smut. rating it this high because i cried multiple times. i wouldn’t recommended this tho, bc though it’s enjoyable, it’s really not worth your time (bc THERE IS NO PLOT!)
also, this book is 4 freaking novellas and over 900 pages. this should have been counted as 4 books, not one!

Heed The Warning.
These are well written stories that certainly have dubious consent. It's more than that, actual abuse is included separate from the dubcon. Know that before you read these.
The stories certainly pushed my limits and that rarely happens. To the authors credit, I knew exactly what was abuse and what was either dubcon or consensual - nonconsensual.

Skipped the entire first story it wasn’t really good and way too long for a collection of stories like this, I think the last one was really confusing and went from 0 to 1,000. Some scenes in several stories I really liked. Overall the collection book itself was decent, definitely will cure some boredom and might create some.

These book are totally hot and a page gripping read that you will not want to put down. And what's better than a series all in one place. I told recommend these book with great strong characters and and wicked story behind them what more can you want.

The first 2 stories I found good, the third one I would have enjoyed better if it wasn't written the way it was.

A boxset of three books that have left me questioning myself and asking myself " did i really read these books??!!"
Be warned these books are filled with unconsential sex, rape, violence, humiliation and manipulative behavior
First of all i just could not get into the first story....it took me days before i could settle to start reading and actually progressing somewhere.....same with each story
This is the longest it has taken me to read a few books...im a 2 to 3 books a day reader and if its shorts up to 8.....but this ...this was like my worst ever record.....
I couldn't relate with the characters, there was just no depth to some of them and then there was the overthinking of some...and they still make crappy decisions after all the soul searching, questioning....eggghhhh....the repetitive questioning!!!! ......

I would have preferred that this book was written in dual POV as i would have loved to know what Xavier was thinking, what made him make the decisions he did......it would have explained what frame of mind he was in to be able to want to end it all....it would have made an Earth shattering read, as it is written to me he was a man that would make split decisions that didnt make sense half the time.......we have a woman who has done everything to remove her self of becoming the type of woman her mother is.....a competent independent and powerful business woman who has her world turned upside down when she has to make a decision that will save her father.
Hurt so good.
The second book had dual POV (as i wished that the first book in the boxset had) and i wasnt very taken by Dylan.....a man that lived fearing that he would turn out like his abusive father... if he hadn't realised that he was nothing like his father even though he even paid a psychologist thousands of dollars to be told that he isnt a monster....what can i say???!!...issues issues
Miranda has a kink that thousands of other woman have and many men too.....she has found a perfect partner for her self unfortunately he is fighting a battle with him self and his needs.... but once he snaps out of it they will make the perfect dysfunctional couple....

From Sarah's side i can see and understand that she is manipulated by her step father, a man who plays on her feelings of being lonely and unwanted by her mother that she sucks up all the attention lthat she gets from him like a sponge......but Dominick.....come on!!!!!

Ménage à what?
This review is for Daddy’s Sweet Girl.
What a great quick read. It had all the components of your standard pseudo-incest (no blood relation) story. The love scenes were both emotionally and physically intense. I was
pleasantly surprised by the complexity of this relatively short novella. Stasia Black packed so much into 176 pages. ‘Taboo’ is worth picking up for this story alone.
NB: I didn’t read the first two stories as they didn’t interest me.

4.5ish. This rating is basically just for the first story, which is The Virgin and the Beast, clearly a modern day take on Beauty and the Beast. It was actually super good. I went in with low expectations and came out really enjoying the story. It was elevated beyond just smut.
The other two stories didn’t do it for me, personally.

Three steamy reads with great characters, plenty of drama and steam. Melanie, Miranda and Sarah are great characters and each of their stories has hot chemistry and lots of twists and turns and emotion. An entertaining boxed set! I loved it!

The Virgin and The Beast:
Melanie, a woman on the fast track in her career in the corporate world, thinking she is in for a job promotion, but gets the shock of her life when it all comes to a screeching halt when she is fired from her job, due to her association with her father when he gets caught swindling money, blacklisting him and those associated to him.
Melanie is then approached by a gentleman, with a proposal from a client that can help her get out of the bind that her father has put them both in, the proposal: to be a gestational surrogate, to carry his baby, in exchange he’ll protect both her and her father. Initially she tells the gentleman to take a hike, but then she has seconds thoughts and accepts the proposal.
From there, Melanie and her father are both whisked off to undisclosed locations, where she is then subjected to a humiliating medical exam to prove she is a virgin, much to this stranger’s delight.
Its during there first encounter, that Melanie learns the name of her captor: Xavier. Though disfigured, he is raw, hard and unrelenting, taking her virginity in the most primal of ways, her body betraying her, responsive to his touch, claiming her, marking her in the most sinful of ways.
Only after, does she discover that Xavier exudes control and domination is all things, he wants her to submit, but she stubbornly refuses, and when he gives her one instruction, she disobeys, and when he denies her, her sexual pleasures, she takes control, giving herself the most satisfying, earth shattering orgasms ever, a choice she pays heavily for when he locks her up for three days.
And when she relents, Melanie finally submits to him, she decides it can’t be all that bad and works it to her advantage. Over time Melanie begins to learn things about Xavier, putting her to work, making her see him in a different light. When an incident occurs and Xavier’s behaviour changes suddenly, Melanie is left with no choice but to act, to keep everything afloat until Xavier gets his head on straight.
Then Melanie finds out she is pregnant, and Xavier snaps out of his haze, taking complete control of Melanie’s health and wellbeing. Melanie told herself that she never wanted to be a mother, that kids was not what she wanted, but being with Xavier changed that, telling him she wants this baby, and there was one thing she did not count on: falling in love with him, it’s here that he admits that he’ll do anything and everything in his power to keep her, should she ever decide to run away with their child.
As her pregnancy progresses, so does her wild and uninhibited needs for sex in any form, and Xavier is only too happy to oblige her carnal needs. Then his father shows up, authoritatively speaking attempts to control his life, saying they have accommodated his pipe dream long enough, it’s here we find out more about Xavier’s past and why he is the way he is in the present, Melanie finds out the real reason why Xavier wanted a child, and Xavier tells Melanie why is took him so long to establish trust between them, which leads to something more shocking, Melanie putting herself in harms way, leads to a drastic decision being made that changes the course of Xavier’s life for the better.
And in the end Xavier gets the help that he needs, Melanie begins to mend fences with her father, which leads to Xavier mending fences with his family, but the best part was the birth of there beautiful son.
Overall, there story was raw and sensual, as it was powerful and confronting. Even though they both had issues they needed to work through, there love for each other heartbreakingly beautiful. It was fast paced and thrilling, it made my heart race and soar to unfathomable heights. The need to see there growing attraction, the lust and fear, to own and dominate, retaliate, to take control, god it was hot.
Xavier show’s her what he truly sees, the way he makes her feel, she is determined not to feel, but she has this need inside of her that only he can satiate, for him to take her on a sensual and erotic journey or self discovery, to wield his iron clad control over her and dominate her body, drowning her entire being in unthinkable pleasures. Those s€x scenes in and out of the bedroom were f@#$ing erotic, dark, twisted, forbidden, emotional , wrong, intense, captivating, deliciously wicked, dirty, hot, steamy, passionate, wet and ferociously wild.
Such a roller coaster of emotions, a page turner, fast paced you literally will not be able to put it down. This author clearly knows how to write, exploring dark and intense themes that will have you saying what the f@#$. Readers will be ensnared from the get go and it will have you coming back for more. That happily ever after was breathtakingly beautiful, and if you thought this author was done, she is not, so hold on!

This was no sweet passionate love story, it was raw, deep down in your soul passion, it was sensually erotic, dark and dirty, it will twist you up inside in so many ways until you can’t see straight.
It was dark, twisted and hauntingly beautiful. It was captivating, intriguing and chilling. They both have a darkness inside of them, yet to him Miranda, was the light, telling him not to run, to trust her, despite everything she thought she knew about herself, despite the depravity in their relationship, to reconcile with their pasts, what she knew in her heart and mind, that she loved Dylan, but he couldn’t love her.
Dylan and Miranda have undeniable chemistry, a desire and lust so passionate that it cannot be contained when these two are around each other, they push each other in different directions, pushing there boundaries and limits, to tease, to please, to see who will snap and relent first, that inferno slowing building between them, there dominance igniting a fire within each-other, all but ready to implode.
They fight each-other at every turn, but she can’t help but be responsive to the way he touches her, the way he makes her feel, but he is determined not to feel, but she has this need inside of her that only he can satiate, for him to drown her entire being in unthinkable pleasures.

What a wild collection of filthy smut! The audacity of these plots was what kept me reading. Each story really was its own trope, and all of them were a lot of fun. My favorite parts in each story were how it would be moving along in its plot tone, and then suddenly something so raunchy or wild would pop off and just leave me gasping!! The first story, although very steamy in a lot of ways, was probably the most mild. It was serious and deep in moments, but it was also such a cute story. The second two, now those, were wild! One of the most uncomfortable step daddy/step brother tropes I have read! My gosh, book two had me squirming with some of the lines and situations going on. I was shocked several times. The third story was a CNC banger that had a twist at the end. I was not ready for and screaming, "WHAT! WHAT!" LOL!! and book 4 was an interesting dichotomy of a plot that just seemed to keep changing from where it started to where it ended up.
I had a lot of fun reading all of these stories and went through a collection of emotions and reactions throughout the entire book. There were so many elements and layers to the plots that kept the short stories moving along at a great pace, making them feel longer than they really were, in a good way. How she got so much into so few pages I don't know, but I loved it. I loved the shocking spice content in each piece as well, and to be blunt, they are pretty spicy. These plots depend heavily on the intimate relationships within each story, and they do not disappoint!
Overall I enjoyed each story involved in this collection for different reasons but my favorite element was how the stories really were just audacious and jaw dropping at times and the spice is not for the faint of heart I an telling you!!!

Since this has 4 "books" in the collection, I will include my thoughts on each one individually below.
The Virgin and the Beast
This one was really hard to stay interested in. He kept treating her as if she was one of his horses. I couldn't feel anything from either one of them toward each other. Then, to find out he just somehow randomly picked her to have his kid, just doesn't really scream romantic to me. So all his efforts to get her to want to stay just fell flat. I did get through it, but the romance was just non-existant.
Daddy's Sweet Girl
This one went in a different direction than I expected. The problem is that it just stopped without really giving us any closure on some things. I like that she wised up and left them, but there wasn't any closure with Paul or her mom. She got with Dom, and then the book was suddenly over. We are left hanging.

This book felt super short. Not only that, but even despite the dark subject matter, it got even darker. And it almost feels incomplete, like something is missing. The issues seemed to resolve themselves pretty quick, too. I can see throwing this one into a collection, since I dont think it would really work alone.

This book was just... OK. It felt like there wasn't really any closure on things. I was expecting Alexei to kill dad and take over, but nope. Just helped them get away, and nothing changed.
Overall, I don't think I would read this again. These stories just felt incomplete.

In all honesty, I actually didn't finish reading. I barely got through a couple of chapters before I put it down. When I first saw the title and read the blurb, I was excited to read it. I am a dark romance girlie, the more depraved the better. But so far what I read was just...boring. I couldn't stay interested. Maybe the depraved stuff I was expecting happens later on but will never find out because what I started with seemed so tame to what was "promised". The male and female lead in the first book from the collection seemed so boring, like I barely got enough info and immediately jumping into things. If others enjoyed this book, I am glad you did. But for me, this wasn't it. MAYBE I will give it another chance later on, but for now, I'm done with it.

I loved two of the 4 stories. The first one and the last one.
Story one I loved the ranch, the story line and the characters attraction and chemistry.
The last one I again loved the story and the attraction and chemistry of the couple.
The two middle stories I just didn't love the characters and the dad in story two seemed normal then turned into a raging douche.
And the third story was just okay. Love the author though and thought this was a threat deal getting 4 stories in one book.

This is a great collection of steamy stories all in one book. This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book. I enjoy their writing style and their attention to details that make their story realistic. The characters are connectable and relatable and truly pop off the pages. Each story in this collection is unique to the other. This is a collection that everyone who enjoys steamy romance will find a favorite story. I enjoyed this collection and I highly recommend it.

I am being a bit generous giving 4 stars to these 4 books the first was my favorite the second not so much I may have been a tad rough with the 2 stars but then the author just did not flesh out the characters as well as she usually does. I really did not feel connected to them and after too much thought maybe Daddy was a bit of a sociopath. I really liked the third and the last one for me was just so so. I gave more info under each book individually

I liked 3 out of the 4 stories. The first one is good; it reminded me of a beauty and the beast retelling. I’ve read the second one before not knowing it was in the collection. I don’t like the stepfather at all but the stepbrother isn’t so bad. I didn’t read the third one after the first chapter. Rape fantasies aren’t my thing. I enjoyed the fourth one a lot!! The surprise ending was great!!

Good smut but mid plot. A pretty good beginner if you're exploring dubcon/noncon/CNC. This book gets me amped up with the start of each story; it's interesting, it's suspenseful, it's dirty. Though it always loses me at the end of the stories. The climaxes aren't super great and the resolve is usually kind of boring in my opinion.

I actually really enjoyed every storyline! Loved the characters. The spice. The banter. It was all so beautifully written!! The only thing that I didn’t care for was the last story was told in 3rd person. And there wasn’t a warning for it. I’m not big on 3rd person but the story was so great I pushed through and finished!

DNF. I wasn't bored enough to read this. I only made it 30% in, and that was forcing myself. Part 1. Nope. Couldn't force myself. Not because of triggers, I have none. Because this "plot" didn't hold my interest. Probably won't try this author again if this is any indication.

I liked 2 of the 4 stories. Daddy's Sweet Girl was the most disturbing of them all. It didn't help that I hit a reading slump around this time as well. Honestly, I'm just happy I didn't DNF this book.
