I’m not even sure where to start with this book.. I was expecting mysterious and unexplained things , but what I read was a bunch of random mysteries that were solved by some girl. One of the stories did have a little bit of a spooky element, but the others did not. I’m not sure which was worse —the grammar, or the spelling!! It was actually painful to read at times. I really wanted to like this book, but it just wasn’t for me.

It's not fair to say all of the stories were unexplained. Some of them are very good mystery stories with satisfying endings, and some of them have endings that leave everything completely open. I won't say which ones are which, because that would ruin all of the fun of reading them in the first place. I think my favorite was the story of the mother and daughter cleaning out the house of an old woman after she passed. The descriptions and the family interaction had me read it in one go, twice since I wanted to look for things I might have missed. All of them were fun reads, but that one had me smiling ear to ear at the end.

Mysterious Tales of The Unexplained Volume 1 ( by the author
Patricia Miller). If you love a good mystery then you you need to read this book. I love how well written the stories were. I was hooked from just the way the cover on the book was it got my attention. I was also hooked when I started to read the book as the words were big enough that it was easy to read. I can't wait
to read the next volume of the book. If you want to know more about this author please check out here Facebook page. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

"MYSTERIOUS TALES OF THE UNEXPLAINED: VOLUME I" contained four murder mystery stories that appeal to those who loved reading Nancy Drew or the Hardy Boys books.

Each story of various lengths will keep you guessing on who done it and why. My favorite short story was "Picture on the Wall" because I love PG-rated haunted tales. :)

Who doesn’t love a good spooky tale. I thought this collection of stories is wonderfully creepy. The author did a great job of titillating the reader. Looking forward to reading another volume.

I generally enjoyed these stories. I am someone who likes the occasional open ending and so The Royal Secret was probably my favorite. I wish it had been longer though as it felt a bit rushed and I wanted to get pulled deeper into the mystery. That was rather my feeling with each story, I wanted to get deeper, and really be immersed in a characters point of view and live their moment. There was a good amount of 'telling' which is what put me at 4 stars here, the plot lines are great however, and I would definitely read more from this author.
