After Zeus and the Olympians were confronted with their diminished prowess in Mount Olympus: Whatever Happened to Those Guys, the gods and goddesses have decided the only way to restore themselves to their former glory is to find the lost source of their precious immortality--the mysterious food of the gods...ambrosia! Since none of them are able to remember the whereabouts of these succulent morsels, or even what it's made of, the Olympians decide to consult the oracles. The advise from these ancient seers, and a few others along the way, leads them to the ceremony of The Eleusinian Mysteries. The gods of Olympus will attempt to perform this most sacred ritual in the hope of obtaining their lost ambrosia, and reacquiring their precious immortality. But the Olympians must find a way out of Hades before they can even get started on this most important quest.

I am so frustrated right now, because this book has only one review...MINE. And it deserves more! It may took me MONTHS to finish it, but the fault was totally mine. Reading slump. Huge one. But I freakin' LOVED IT! I even wish it was made into a movie or series! Once more, it made me giggle and even LOL so many times! I loved the story, the quest, the shenannigans, EVERYTHING WAS GENIUS! John's humour is smart and not forced at all, which makes the whole experience even greater. He makes fun of Greek mythology while at the same time pays respect to it. And that means a lot to a Greek gal like myself. I feel honoured. Guys, please PLEASE read this book. You won't regret it...
