"Taking Time to Change" is a thirteen-week workbook that leads you into a more intimate fellowship with God--the heart of biblical change. Each's week's study unit will guide you into daily activities that help you apply to your life the truths taught in "Changed Into His Image." "Changed into His Image" and its workbook "Taking Time to Change" are tools for individual study, one-on-one discipleship, small-group Bible studies at home, Small-group studies at church, and staff-training programs for Christian camps, schools, and churhes. If your attempts at making biblical change have been haphazard and sporadic, then let this guide lead you into a more satisfying relationship with God. Lasting peace and joy are offered by God to those who are willing to take the time to know Him on a personal, intimate level.
I highly recommend this resource for personal change in holy Christlikeness. It is very thorough in applying the doctrine of sanctification personally. It guides individuals through a 13-week study, breaking each week into 5 (day) sections. I found it manageable (30 minutes a day), instructive, convicting, practical, helpful, and impactful in my life. I wish I had worked through this book 30 years ago! Every Christian should.
This was a good Bible study I did after going through "Taking Time to Change". Both studies by Jim Berg were Bible based and challenged you to think about heart issues not just head issues. If you let it, this study will change your life.
