One of the best. Period. When I first started with C, this was my holy bible. It is a true C book, that explains what's under the hood with pointers. There are also some other things explained in this book, too (not just pointers). If you are planning to learn C, this book should definitely be a part of your bookshelf.
One of my all-time favorite comp.sci books, and certainly the best book I know of for learning C. You really need to know programming before you pick it up though, but everything about it is wonderful. The structure, the writing and the content.
