Our hero is a top notch PI in a world of megacorps, digital samurai and other hi tech gizmos. When one of those megacorps comes calling, you know there is going to be trouble.

This is a fantastic combination of the hardboiled detective and SF genres. We get the tough-as-nails PI couple with all kinds of nutty SF characters and gadgets which makes the story fun to read. It helps that the story itself is very well written and populated by a diverse cast of interesting characters. The action is also fast paced and the plot has lots of twists and turns that keep you on your toes. It was a very wild and enjoyable read.

Highly recommended.

I am an ARC reader and this is an honest review. It's easy to be a fan of Austin Dragons' Liquid Cool Series. Having read many books in this series I can easily recommend the latest, Digital Samurai. Loads of Cruz action as always, this one will not disappoint. Gotta love this lone detective. As each book is made to be stand-alone, the only thing I find annoying is reading things about Cruz that I already have imbossed in my brain. I don't believe it can be helped with a series like this, but it does make the stories run together and seem similar at times.

Fun and compelling story

Love the genre mashups - sci-fi + cyber + commando + mystery and a little dash of noir - fast moving occasionally thoughtful and often exciting - great read
