Dancing with the Mob by Suzanne Hart
I really enjoyed this book. I had read Deceiving The Mob, the first book of this two-book collection. So I was excited to get Dancing With The Mob. They each are complete novels and can be read anyway. This is the story of Mikey and Natalia. They belong to different mobs that hate each other. I highly recommend both books, I know you will enjoy the stories. I received an advanced reader copy from bookfunnel and have voluntarily chosen to leave a review. This is my honest opinion.

I really didn't want to give this book 4 stars, this book or should say books are way, way to much in the 2 main characters heads and in there imagination. You think your reading about now but your not your in their heads. It's really annoying. I say about half the reading isn't happening now and what is in the present is so fast you almost miss it. The ending sucked, cause it just ended. There was no real love story here just some choppy half page quickys.

A-typical ROMANCE amazing insights, STEAMiness, and “in-your-face” realism! A MUST-READ!
If you have never read a novel by Suzanne Hart, DANCING WITH THE MOB is the one to buy! I love the story of DANCING WITH THE MOB, but perhaps not for the typical reasons. For certain, author Suzanne Hart has written a novel about an unlikely but explosive romance between the children of two ferocious, rival Mafia families. It’s a little bit of Romeo and Juliet, but instead of poison and death, Mikey and Natalia overcome seemingly overwhelming odds to grasp for a happily-ever-after with each other. It is well written with a prose that is both easy to read and descriptive. In addition, the characterization is spot-on, but the completely necessary build-up or more accurately digging into a ditch of deprivation was a hard pill to swallow. I don’t normally like or recommend a book if its characters are not worthy in some respect or show no transformation – no change wrought by the love of the romance. However, DANCING WITH THE MOB has it all! Some suspense with a lot of heart, this Mafia romance was so much more than the typical “bad guy finds love and is changed by it” routine. Instead, Ms. Hart also offers her readers some realism and some weighty food for thought. DANCING WITH THE MOB offers a realistic vision of how verbal abuse can so debase a child’s psyche that adulthood holds no promise. It also presents a realistic telling of the horrors of addictive behavior and the difficulty in trying to just walk away from one’s additions. But then, DANCING WITH THE MOB pours icing over these weighty issues with the difficulties that one selfish bad decision can make for a lifetime, and then tops it off with how one good decision and the will to be better can do to negate the bad that came before it. All of that happens, and then things get really dangerous, steamy and bring out the tissues! Like I said, DANCING WITH THE MOB has it all! I volunteered to read a copy of DANCING WITH THE MOB and this is my honest and VOLUNTARY review. DANCING WITH THE MOB is above all things a wonderful romance which illustrates the redemptive power of love, but it has earned 4 STARS because the lengthy muddle that “the bitter pill” mentioned above had me wanting to put the book down without finishing it. It is not a perfect novel, but I am so glad that I kept reading! I suggest that you get your copy of DANCING WITH THE MOB today as it’s realistic portrayal of contemporary issues is so insightful and it’s entertaining and action-filled. Happy pages! 😉

I received an advanced copy of this manuscript and am voluntarily leaving an honest review. Mikey had a hard life because he could never live up to the standard his dad wanted him to be to me the next head of the family when he passes away but Mikey couldn't do it he didn't have the stomach for killing people and his father did not like that at all so because of not being wanted by his father for not living up to his standards he turned to drugs and alcohol as a coping mechanism. Natalia was sheltered by what went on with her father she new some of it but not all of it she felt like a prisoner in her house like she was never going to get a clean break from him but he had no idea that she had a hole nother life in la that she kept secret from him. Mia had been her father's favorite after Mikey had disappointed his dad because she had made something of her self with running a billion dollar company by her self. Slade was a military man no matter what happened he stucked to his training but what de didn't expect was mia to get kidnapped and him getting feelings for her

Expectations and dark desires
July 22, 2019
This duet made powerful reading, the first book I loved the second not as much. Mia was the daughter of the Leone Mafia head, she was a woman who became a billionaire in her own right without the help of her father. Mikey was her twin brother, he was to be become the heir of the Mafia family after the death of his father. However he was not suited to the life expected of him and was a disappointment to his father. This story is about expectations and desires, of love for the significant other that was forbidden and how the twins overcame family opposition to win their hearts desires. The story is gritty, dark and brutal but compulsive reading at the same time.
I received a free ARC copy of thus book and have voluntarily read and honestly reviewed this book.

Wanting out of their mob families

Dancing with The Mob by Suzanne Hart is a Boxset. The story of Mikey Leone that is taking place nearly simultaneously as Mia’s story in Deceiving the Mob which I read way back in January.
I found Mikey and Natalia’s story interesting and couldn’t seem to read fast enough to get to their resolution. To say these two go through an ordeal is an understatement.
The plot was also interesting and the antagonist characters were captivating in ways that keeps the reader guessing and wondering what’s next.
Overall, a good book that has lots of detail, suspense, danger, revenge and resolution including a HEA.
I read an ARC of this book and voluntarily share my review.

I received this ARC on the condition that I write an honest review. I’ve read several other books written by Suzanne Hart, and I enjoyed her style of writing. This one was kind of hard for me to read, not because of the writing, but because I usually never like to read Mafia stories. I went ahead and read it, and there were some hard-core parts that I did not enjoy. I did love the story of the romance between Mickey and Natalia, although it was kind of a roller coaster ride of a relationship. I was not attracted to so many referrals about drugs/booze, but I suppose it signifies the Mafia life. The final chapter was a healing of sorts and I truthfully enjoyed it. I will continue to read more books by Ms Hart, but hopefully the next one won’t be so heavily Mafia centered.

This is a well written mafia book with a multitude of strong well developed characters and an intriguing story line. The author brings the story to life with her descriptive writing and vividly detailed scenes. She brings tons of action, suspense and danger , adds in a few twists and turns as well as a smokin' hot chemistry between the two who are from opposing mafia families. I was captured and held from start to finish reading this book. Give yourself plenty of reading time because once you start you won't want to stop till you reach the end. I loved and highly recommend this book.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

This is Natalie and Mickey's story He is been groomed to replace his father as the next head of the family but Mickey has no interest he isn't interested in the killing and back stabbing that comes with that life. When he meets Natalie Can these two find love together and a future away from there families You will have to read to see Also included is the book Deceiving the mob which is Mia Mickey's sisters story This had been released previously

It was just ok

I usually really enjoy reading Dark Mafia Romances, but this one was just ok for me. I thought the idea behind the storyline was very interesting, but not fleshed out enough. I felt like the writing was disjointed and it just didn't flow well. It was easy to get confused with all the twists and turns in the plot because there just seemed to be a sentence or a paragraph missing that could have successfully connected one scene to another. I was simply too distracted by the writing itself to really enjoy the stories.

Very bad writing

It’s was a bad read.... too many internal monologues and too many description. Not a lot of imagination even though the sex scenes were hot it really could not save this disaster of a writing! Glad it was on unlimited kindle and didn’t have to buy the damn book, would have been pissed. It was a shame really because it could have been a phenomenal book if only the author had what it takes !!

Enjoyable
Not usually a reader of Mafia type books, I actually enjoyed this. The characters seemed realistic although I admittedly don't know for sure. Forbidden love since the families are enemies is the main theme with lies and deception. The authors’ talents bring the stories to life and draw the reader into the story.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
