I devoured this book in one sitting, and the only disappointing thing was that it ended, so my time with the characters was over again for now. I'm loving seeing this series develop, and the characters in it grow as it does. It's also fascinating learning more about the world the author has created, and its various legends. In short: I'm still loving this series, and would highly recommend it, especially if you're a fan of fantasy and mythology.

After a particular milestone is obtained, it clear nothing is ever going to go smoothly. Characters that we envision as the good ones, really aren’t. And the supposed bad ones are not so cut and dry either. Totally loving the slow reveal of bits and pieces of info. I can feel the frustration this MC feels for being taken down a much more overwhelming path than she originally envisioned. The suspense is driving me crazy but in the best of ways.

Another great addition to the series!
“Empowered” is an exciting addition to the “Valkyrie Academy Dragon Alliance”. The wingless Valkyries still support Kara. Her bravery, intelligence, and care for the dragons continue to make her the perfect main character. I loved this read and all the characters that were created. The scenes are vivid and enticing.

pacing n action slow down after she kicked ass on the mountain, story expands. she gets more info on what's going on, which just raises more questions(of course). I dug this girl pretty much from go, so of course I wanted to know what's next, n seems like there's finally some good news fer her. if yer stuck on her like I am, you'll like this even more than I did

I like these books my only problem is why are they separate instead of 1 or 2 books- I like the way the heroine is learning and growing emotionally.
