ERIC FRATTINI (1963- ) worked as a correspondent in the Middle East and has lived in Beirut (Lebanon), Nicosia (Cyprus) and Jerusalem (Israel).

Frattini is the author of around twenty books amongst which are Osama bin Laden, the sword of Alah (2001); Mafia Inc. 100 years of Cosa Nostra (2002); Vatican Secrets (2003); United Nations, a history of Corruption (2005); La Conjura, Kill to Lorenzo de Medici (2006); Mossad, the wrath of Israel (2007), or the tetralogy about the history of the most famous espionage services (CIA, KGB, Mossad and MI6).

His works has been published in several countries like in the United States, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, France, Portugal, Italy, Bulgaria, Romania, Brazil, Poland and Russia. Frattini is the director and scriptwriter of approximately twenty research documentaries for the main Spanish televisions. In 2007, he published El Quinto Mandamiento (The Fifth Commandment), his first novel, which has been translated into numerous languages.

The Labyrinth of Water, his second novel to date, has been launched in Spain by Espasa Calpe in 2009 and translated into forteen languages. English has been translated by St. Martin's Press (New York) and JR Books (London).

La verdad me hubiese gustado que hubiese sido algo "secreto", quizás hasta conspiranóico, hubiese sido divertido, no cosas que con un par de minutos de búsqueda en internet las hubiese encontrado.
La versión online posee varios erróres pero es capaz de ser leído. La redacción no es la mejor, aunque suele ir directo al punto, cosa que se agradece.

Książka napisana w formie pytań i odpowiedzi, z wieloma ciekawostkami dotyczącymi organizacji życia i sposobu funkcjonowania Państwa Watykan i samej instytucji kościoła. Nie porywa, nie zachwyca, lekko zaskakuje pokazując przerost tej instytucji, ogromne struktury, dyplomację i zabieganie o własne interesy, które uniemożliwają realizację misji, do której Kościół został stworzony.

El título del libro deja mucho que desear, se trata de preguntas contestadas por el propio autor de algunos temas del Vaticano y en especial de los Pontífices Juan Pablo II y Benedicto XVI, pero nada más. Ya he leído al autor y sinceramente esperaba muchísimo más en el libro, fue una gran decepción.
