The Bride Herder #10

Herding Her Heart

Rate this book

Take one stuttering man, one clumsy woman, a whole passel of brides and one clueless matchmaker. Mix them all together and what do you get? Disaster!

Jasmine Hammond wanted more in her life and thought marriage would do the trick. Problem was, there was no one in her home town to marry. So she did what anyone would do, she enlisted the help of a matchmaker. And she wasn't the only one. Nine other brides from all over the country traveled with her to Bent, Colorado to entrust their marital endeavors to the famous matchmaker, Viola Redburn. Problem was, when they got there, Viola was dead.

Rafe Adams, like other men in town, was in want of a wife. But after hiring Viola Redburn to find him one, disaster strikes! But there's still hope. Viola's nephew inherits everything, including her matchmaking business. But Chance Redburn is a rancher, not a matchmaker. The only thing he's used to matching is cattle, and they're not picky. A passel of brides, on the other hand, is a different matter. But despite Chance Redburn's clumsy attempts, he's getting the job done. But can he find a woman for Rafe that can see past his horrible stutter? Find out in this fun-filled romp of clean, sweet, western historical romance!

Kit Morgan, aka Geralyn Beauchamp, has been writing for fun all of her life. When writing as Geralyn Beauchamp, her books are epic, adventurous, romantic fantasy at its best. When writing as Kit Morgan they are whimsical, fun, inspirational sweet and clean stories that depict a strong sense of family and community. 'His Prairie Princess' is the first of the Prairie Brides books and the first in the series of a long line of stories about Clear Creek, Oregon. One of the wackiest little towns in the old west! Get to know the townsfolk in Clear Creek and come sit a spell!

NOTE: Hi folks, it has come to my attention there is an erotica book floating around out there written under the name Kit Morgan. IT IS NOT MY BOOK! I do not, and never will, write in that genre.

Another winner for Kit Morgan and The Bride Herder Series.

Oh, the last book of The Bride Herder series was a really great one to end it. Kit Morgan really knows how to write fun and exciting stories, and managed to link this one back to few of her own series, including another series she writes in with multiple authors.
This is another winner to this series and I so glad for our hero and heroine since they were the last two left unwed, but, oh, never mind. You'll just have to read this story and all The Bride Herder stories as this is a really good series. There is a lot of fun, adventure, tears, happy smiles and of course romance.
Just a quick note to all the authors in this fun series, now that Chance and Violet have the hang of this, it is after all a new business for Chance and now his bride, shouldn't there be at least ten more brides coming to town and I'm sure there are ten more unmarried men that need matches to brides? I think another round of stories should be forth coming. After all the town of Bent, Colorado is growing with more men but very few women.

What a Disaster! A Stuttering Man, A Clumsy Woman, A Passel of Brides, and A Deceased Matchmaker!

Brides arrived by train from all over the west to be matched with eligible men by a well known matchmaker. Jasmine and nine other brides arrived by train, ready to be matched for marriage, but before the matchmaker could make the matches she dies. What will the people do? Well, the matchmaker's nephew inherited his aunt's property, so he tries to make the matches, but has no idea how to make workable matches. This begins this mail order bride story. Read this book and read about the missteps made by all the participants. Will any of the brides and grooms find a match? Read this to find out. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

Good book!

I love Kit Morgan's writing. This book, while not part of any of the other great series she has written, was really good.

Rafe- great guy has a stuttering problem.
Jasmine- From Noelle(another series that I love) wants to get married but her excessive talking and clumsiness tend to scare off suitors
I enjoyed reading this engaging story that is fantastically written with charismatic characters. Loved their story and background. Their story has a wonderful HEA!

Rage and Jasmine

This is a well written and very hellacious story. The plot and the characters, old and new were all well thought out too. This is SO FAR the last story in this series and I sure hope the assorted authors will write additional ones. These tales in this series are humorous, loving, uplifting and make you so happy that you’ve read them.

Jasmine

A fun story of a bumbling bride and the gentleman no one wants. Entertaining flashbacks to other stories and series. A very nice ending to the Bride herders. All have found their place!!

Loved this book and series. Kit Morgan always gives us interesting characters with realistic story lines. I have so enjoyed Chance's attempts to match the couples like he does his cattle. I do hope the series will continue with new brides.

Jasmine and Rafe

Joyous and fun book! Jasmine and Rage were the last to be matched of this group of brides but the matchmakers did not put them together. They both went through disastrous matches. - Babs
